Cab Plate E6004 No1 END ex British Railways Class 73 Electric locomotive built by British Rail Eastleigh in 1962 and named The Bluebell Railway in 1987. Engraved composite material measuring 4in x 1.5in. In as removed condition.
LMS Stanier (hooter type) locomotive Whistle as fitted to Class 5 and 8F locomotives. In lightly cleaned condition, measures 15.75in long and is mounted on a mahogany display stand.

GWR cast iron seat ends x2 with the GWR Roundel cast into each end. In ex railway condition complete with original wooden feet ready to restore. A lot rarer than the script pattern.
GWR board game RACE TO THE OCEAN COAST manufactured by Chad Valley for the Great Western Railway. Complete with the Shaker (Normally missing), board, three locomotives and the original instructions. In very good condition and the box does have some edge splitting.
BR(S) FF enamel signal box board SELLING from the former South Eastern & Chatham Railway station between Faversham and Canterbury East. In good condition with some edge and face chips. Measures 60in x 12in.
Worksplate JOHN FOWLER & Co (LEEDS) LIMD 420018 ex 150hp 0-4-0 420 class diesel with a 4c engine built to standard gauge. Supplied new to Milford Haven Dock & Railway company Pembrokeshire in December 1947. Oval cast brass measures 12in x 8in in lightly face restored condition.
British Railways Southern Region 12 inch oak cased fusee railway clock with a rectangular plated wire driven English fusee movement, supplied to the Southern region in 1950 by Stockall, Marples & Co at a cost of 7-16-6d. The original dial display s BR(S) 11024 and the case has one side door and a bottom door secured with a brass turn. In working order but not checked for accuracy complete with pendulum and keys. The SR clock records show this clock as last in use at London Bridge Station Chief Building Inspector's office.
Smokebox numberplate 43910 ex MR Fowler 4F 0-6-0 built at Derby in 1920 and numbered LMS 3910 and later BR 43910. Allocated to Bedford, Nottingham and 8E Brunswick from where it was withdrawn in December 1959. Scrapped two years later at Central Wago n Co Ince. In lightly cleaned original condition.

Worksplate LOCOMOTIVFABRIK KRAUSS & CIE MUNCHEN & LINZ 1903 No 4955. Ex 1050mm gauge 0-6-0T, one of 12 supplied for the opening of the Hedjaz pilgrim railway from Damascus to Medina. 4955 was initially Hedjaz no.4 but subsequently re-numbered 10 and then 15. It survived the predations of T.E. Lawrence in World War One (No.17 is still out in the Arabian desert where he derailed it in 1917) and was taken into Palestine Rlys. stock after WWI but withdrawn in 1930, so it is likely the plate survived transferred to another of the class, some of which lasted into the 1950s Oval cast brass measuring 14in x 9.25in. Has been lightly cleaned. Together with a cast brass Nameplate in Arabic which roughly translates as Raouf pasha. Unfortunately we have been unable to find any information on the locomotive that carried this, the plate is curved to fit onto the side of a smokebox.
Nameplate MARWELL HALL ex GWR Collett Hall 4-6-0 built at Swindon in 1935 and numbered 5946. Allocated to Cardiff Canton, Taunton, Exeter and 87J Fishguard Goodwick for a few weeks in July 1962 from where it was withdrawn on 31st July 1962. Scrapped at R. S. Hayes Bridgend. Stamped in the back L IN Lot No 290 5946 indicating this is the left hand side plate. In nicely restored condition and comes complete with a Great Western Society Bill Peto full fact sheet.

GWR cast iron cabside numberplate 6146 ex Collett 2-6-2 T built at Swindon in 1932. Allocated to Exeter and 83B Taunton from where it was withdrawn in September 1962. Scrapped 2 years later at Cashmores Newport. In restored condition.
Webb & Thompson single line Staff stamped MERTON - MITCHAM. Measures 23.25in long and is in nicely restored condition.

Allocated to 5D Stoke for most of its operational life and withdrawn from there in March 1960. Scrapped the following year at Gorton Works. Diamond shaped cast brass measuring 15.25in x 6.25in. Face cleaned.
Southern Railway enamel seatback CLAPHAM JUNCTION from the famous station between Waterloo and Wimbledon. In fair condition with some damage, measures 48in x 3in.
Brass steam locomotive whistle possibly from a Swedish Railway locomotive. Measures 9in tall and has a bell diameter of 3in in nicely cleaned condition.
Midland Railway locomotive power classification cast brass numbers 2 and 3. Both measure 2in tall and have their mounting studs intact. These were used on the cabsides of Midland locos. Not common.
London & North Western Railway original hand coloured plans of the Stour Valley Railway No1 Vol 2. Includes Birmingham New Street station, Monument Lane Goods Depot, Monument Lane station, Winson Green station, Soho station, Smethwick station, Sp on Lane station, Oldbury & Bromford Lane station and Albion station. The bound volume measures 12in x 15.5in and is in very good condition.

Great Western Railway plumbers pipe expanding / flaring tool also known as pipe taps. These were used to join together lead pipes by expanding one end of a pipe, another bit was then pushed in and the joint soldered. Turned from Boxwood and branded G WR in the top measures 4.5in long. An unusual item.
A pair of London & North Western Railway cast iron signs. L&NWRy PERSONS TRESPASSING WILL BE PROSECUTED 29in x 12in and LONDON & NORTH WESTERN RAILWAY NOTICE THE COMPANY'S ROAD NOT PUBLIC 20.5in x 9.5in. Both in original condition still m ounted on their wooden post. As purchased by the vendor in 1967 and was removed from the entrance to the Oakengates Goods Yard off Oxford Street on the Wellington to Coalport line.

Nameplate PRINCE JOHN ex Andrew Barclay 0-4-0 ST built as works number 1612 in 1918. The locomotive was used at Millom Hematite Ore & Iron Co Ltd, Millom Ironworks. Rectangular cast brass measuring 55in x 7.5in. Face restored.
Carriage Board OCEAN LINER EXPRESS WATERLOO - SOUTHAMPTON DOCKS as used by the BR Class 74 Diesel hauled trains. Measures 132in x 5in and is in very good condition complete with metal ends.
Totem BR(S) FF BYFLEET AND NEW HAW from the former London and South Western Railway station, originally named West Weybridge, between London Waterloo and Woking. In excellent condition with a few minor edge chips.
Midland Railway 12 inch mahogany cased drop dial fusee clock supplied by JOHN SMITH & SONS of Derby. The original dial is lettered BR(E) 15479 and this was applied by Doncaster clock workshops after the regional boundary changes in the 1950's. Th e English wire driven fusee movement has shaped shoulders and is clean condition and the mahogany case with lenticle window and ornate surround is in good condition. The LNER clock records show that the clock was last in railway service at Sheffield Healey Station Telegraph Office and was LMS clock number 12964. A nice clock in working condition complete with pendulum and key.
Diesel flamecut cabside panel 33039 ex British Railways Class 33 built by BRCW in 1961. Withdrawn in 1989 and scrapped two years later at M. C. Metals Springburn. In trimmed condition complete with data panel and angle iron on the back. Measures 31in x 18in.
Smokebox numberplate 44540 ex LMS Fowler 4F 0-6-0 built at Crewe in 1928. Allocated to Rowsley, Bedford, Wellingborough and 15A Leicester Midland from where it was withdrawn in May 1964. Scrapped later the same year at Cohens Kettering. Face restored .
BR(W) FF running in board MALVERN LINK. In two sections; 77in x 24in and 80in x 24in. Has been over painted in the corporate 1960's black and white, as were the totems, which could easily be removed. Looks to be in very good condition.
BR station sign BIRMINGHAM NEW STREET from the former London and North Western Railway station in the heart of the city. This style of sign were early replacements for the totems which were removed in the 1950's. Screen printed aluminium measures 42i n x 19.75in. In ex railway condition.
