BR(NE) FF enamel station sign GENTLEMEN with right facing arrow measuring 36in x 12in. In excellent condition with three very small edge chips.
Worksplate NYDQUIST & HOLM A.B. OVERHETTARE SCHMIDTS SYSTEM TROLLHATTAN No1688 1923. Ex standard gauge 2-6-2T, class J no.25 built for the Göteborg-Borås Järnväg railway which only had 21 engines and upon electrification in 1937 no. 25 & sist er engine no.24, were sold to the Borås-Alvesta Järnväg, where it retained its number 25. When the BAJ was nationalised in 1940 it became Statens Järnväger (SJ) class S6 no.1613. This attractive style of plate was discontinued shortly after this date. 'Schmidts System' refers to its superheater & patent. Rectangular cast brass measuring 10in x 5in. Face restored.

Nameplate SIR GEOFFREY ARCHER EX East African Railways 60 Class Beyer Garratt 4-8-2 + 2-8-4 built by Societe Franco Belge as works number 2983 in 1953 after being subcontracted by Beyer Peacock. Numbered 6001 and the first of its class, it was rename d Umoja later on. Rectangular cast brass measuring 60.5in x 6.5in. In lightly cleaned condition.
LMS 8 inch Bakelite cased Clock with Smiths going barrel movement. Original dial has Arabic numerals and LMS 16471 SMITHS 8 DAY MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN. In good working condition, a nice entry level railway clock.
Smokebox numberplate 41857 ex Midland Railway Johnson 1F 0-6-0 T built by Sharp Stewart in 1895. Allocated to 19A Sheffield Grimesthorpe for a lot of its working life and withdrawn from there in May 1959. Stored at Spondon and eventually scrapped one year later by Wards Burton-on-Trent. Face restored.
Great Northern Railway Somersault Home Signal Arm complete with original wooden arm, post fixing bracket and some rodding. In very good condition ready to mount on a post. Arm measures 60in long.
Totem BR(NE) HF STOCKSFIELD with black edged letters from the former North Eastern Railway station between Newcastle and Hexham. In nicely displayable condition with a significant amount of well executed restoration.

Diesel flamecut Cabside Panel 20141 ex British Railways Class 20 built in 1966 by English Electric and numbered D8141. Allocated to D02 Birmingham Division. Withdrawn from Toton in September 1991 and scrapped 2 years later by M. C. Metals Springburn. The panel is neatly cut and has original painted numbers. In good condition measures 34.5in x 9.25in.

Worksplate AVONSIDE BRISTOL ENGLAND ENGINE Co LTD No 1591 1911. Ex 0-4-0ST delivered new to Arley Colliery Warwickshire and name Empress. Cast brass measures 15in x 8in face cleaned with traces of red and blue paint. A very rare pattern only used for a very short time and only the second of this type to appear at auction.

A Collection of 13 DMU builders plates consisting off 7 x cast iron, BR Swindon Lot No 30335 1957 x 3, BR Swindon Lot No 30334 1957 x 3 and Pressed Steel Co Ltd Lot No 30547 1960, 6 Cast aluminium, BR Derby Lot No 30612 1961, BR Derby Lot No 30611 19 60 X2, BR Derby Lot No 30408 1958, BR Derby Lot No 30612 1960 and BR GRC & Wco Ltd Lot No 30419 1958. All face cleaned and measure 7in x 4.5in. Together with a brass locomotive whistle from a British Railway class 08 diesel 0-6-0. Measures 10.5in tall in as removed condition with some blue paint on it.
Cabplate LOK No 940: Ex standard gauge 2-6-2T new to Statens Järnväger, of class S It was built by Nydqvist och Holm as works no. 876 in 1908. The text translates as 'Under no circumstances may this locomotive be driven at a speed greater than 80 km per hour or 1 km in 45 seconds. Rectangular cast brass measures 8.5in x 4.75in.
