Pullman Railway Coach luggage rack. Ornately patterned cast brass complete with wire mesh and coat hooks either end. Measures 11in deep x 51in wide. These were fitted in the 1930s First class Electric composite cars some of which worked on the Bright on Belle. A rare survivor in very good ex railway condition.

BR(M) FF enamel station sign NOTTINGHAM. In good condition with some face chipping, measures 44in x 12in. This style of the sign was used at Nottingham Victoria instead of totems and also at Nottingham Midland alongside totems.
Worksplate HUDSWELL & CLARKE'S ENGINE No 1864 REBUILT AT 1972 CENTRAL WORKSHOPS LEEDS. Ex 0-6-0T built in 1952 upon completion of her rebuild at NCB Allerton Bywater Central Workshops. numbered S103, the loco worked at numerous collieries in the West Riding area of Leeds and was withdrawn in 1977, being among the last operational industrial locos in the Leeds area. The plate is hand painted and sawn from steel, marked out by pin punch. In as removed condition measures 13.75in x 9in.
BR(W) FF enamel doorplate GENTLEMEN. In excellent condition with minor chipping to the edge and one small one to the first N, measures 18in x 3.5in.
Worksplate BEYER PEACOCK GORTON LTD MANCHESTER SERIAL No8017 1964 ex BR Diesel Class 17 D8600. Allocated new to 52A Gateshead and withdrawn from 64B Haymarket in October 1971. Scrapped 2 years later at BREL Glasgow. Rectangular cast aluminium, face r estored, measures 12.25in x 5.25in. A rare plate as only 29 of the Class were built by Beyer Peacock.

Allocated to 87D Swansea East Dock for all of its working life and withdrawn from there in April 1964. Scrapped later the same year at Swindon works. In original condition as stored since 1965.

Great Western Railway Hotels silverplate art deco Vinaigrette Pomander. Marked with the GWR twin shield coat of arms and base marked Elkington plate and date stamped for the year 1929. In excellent condition stands 4in tall, an unusual item of railwa y silver ware.
Nameplate AUGUSTE PICARD ex Virgin Super Voyager Diesel Electric Class 221 No 221143. Named after Auguste Picard 1884 - 1962 a Swiss Physicist, explorer and inventor. The nameplate measures 22.25in x 24.5in and is in as removed condition. Together wi th the perspex information panel from the buffet car explaining who and what Auguste's achievements and inventions were, measures 11.25in x 10.5in.

Smokebox numberplate 4097. Ex GWR Collett Castle 4-6-0 built at Swindon in 1926 and named Kenilworth Castle. Allocations included Exeter, Laira, Old Oak Common, Landore and 82C Swindon from where it was withdrawn in May 1960. Scrapped later the same year at Swindon works. Face restored.

Worksplate AVONSIDE ENGINE Co LTD BRISTOL BUILT 1918 ENGINE No 1803. Avonside 1803 of 1918. Ex 0-4-0ST named Asteroid. Supplied new to British Thomson-Houston Co Ltd in Rugby and remained there all of her working life until scrapped in November 1962. Oval cast brass in as removed condition measures 11in x 6.5in.

GWR signal box diagram ST AUSTELL, full colour with cut outs for track circuit indicators, dated 15/10/31. A lovely early diagram linen backed and in very good condition. Measures 64in x 23in.
BR(W) FF enamel double sided station direction sign STATION with British Railways totem at the top and arrows facing both ways. Measures 21in x 10.5in and is complete with original mounting bracket, both sides are in very good condition with minor ch ipping.

Aire and Calder Navigation Bridge Restriction sign. Fully titled and in excellent condition measures 24in x 18in. The Aire and Calder Canal when opened allowed Leeds to become an inland port directly connected to the docks at Hull.

London Underground enamel sign WARNING ENGINES OFFLOADING HOT ASHES. Fully flanged with original wooden mounting board. In good condition with some face chipping, measures 30in x 18in. Possibly ex Neasden Depot.

Worksplate PECKETT & SONS LTD BRISTOL No 1574 1920 ex M5 0-4-0 ST built to standard gauge with an open top cab and supplied new to the Gas Light & Coke Company, Beckton Essex, numbered No9. The Locomotive was scrapped in 1967. Oval engraved b rass measures 15.25in x 8.5in, mounted on a display board along with its cast brass No9 numberplate, also included are various photographs and the original purchase receipt from North Thames Gas.
Nameplate BARCOTE MANOR ex GWR Collett Manor Class 4-6-0 built at Swindon in 1938 as order number 316 and numbered 7803. Allocated to Machynlleth, Oswestry, Croes Newydd and 84G Shrewsbury from where it was withdrawn in April 1965 and scrapped later the same year at R.S. Hayes/Birds Bridgend. In lightly cleaned original condition with some surface rust due to being stored in a damp place and has L 7803 stamped into the back indicating this is the left hand plate. The manor house is approximately eight miles South West of Oxford.
GWR brass cabside numberplate 4040 ex Churchward Star 4-6-0 built at Swindon in 1911 and named Queen Boadicea. Allocated to 84G Shrewsbury and withdrawn from there in June 1951 and scrapped at Swindon. Face restored a long time ago with faint boiler and class details visible in the rim.
Smokebox numberplate 6008 ex Collett King class 4-6-0 built at Swindon in 1928 and named KING JAMES II. Allocated to Laira and 84A Stafford Road from where it was withdrawn in June 1962 and scrapped later the same year at Swindon works. In original c ondition as stored since 1965. Note this is not the smokebox numberplate recorded as being sold at auction elsewhere six years ago and comes with original Swindon label.
Single line one engine in steam staff brass plated REDCLIFF SIDINGS - BATHURST BRIDGE. Wood with steel ends in ex railway condition. From the former Bristol Harbour Railway which ran from Temple meads under St Mary Redcliffe Church to emerge at Bathu rst Basin by the Ostrich pub and then on to Wapping Wharf. Measures 12.5in long.

Crosby Steam Valve & Gage Co Tri note locomotive whistle. Stamped in the bottom Crosby Steam Gage & Valve Co. Boston U.S. Pat Jan 30 1877 and measures 14.5in long x 4in diameter. Complete with valve, in lightly cleaned condition. It is believ ed that it was last used at the Flowers Brewery in Stratford Upon Avon as a workers time signal.

Allocated to 61A Kittybrewster and withdrawn from 61B Aberdeen in December 1967. Scrapped the following year at J. McWilliam Shettleston. Diamond shaped cast aluminium measures 14.25in x 6.25in. In face restored condition.

LNER platform lamp with original china glass lamp tablet MUNDESLEY ON SEA. The case is nicely restored and stamped LNER and stands 40in tall with the mounting frog. Comes complete with a cast iron balustrade mounting post measuring 44in tall. Mundesl ey On Sea was a former Norfolk and Suffolk Joint Railway station on the coast between Cromer and North Walsham which closed in 1964.
