London & North Western Railway electric lever frame. A section from the Crewe South Junction Webb & Thompson All Electric frame installed in 1907. After the LNWR's experimental installation in Gresty Lane box, this was the earliest electric p ower frame installed in the UK so is of some historical significance. Measures 40in wide x 52in tall x 18in deep and weighs approx 400kg. The successful buyer will need to arrange collection from near Bath and the vendor is happy to help with loading etc. There are also a substantial number of additional castings, all shotblasted but unrestored, which would assemble into a further nine-lever section of frame which will be sold with the complete frame.

GWR cast iron cabside numberplate 3748 ex Collett 0-6-0PT built at Swindon in 1937. Allocated to Bristol Bath Road, St Philips Marsh, Cardiff Canton, Barry and 88L Cardiff East Dock from where it was withdrawn in May 1964 and scrapped the same year a t Swindon Works. In original condition as stored since 1965.
GWR leather Cash Bag with original brass plate G.W.R. BRISTOL (CATTLE PENS) in good condition with minor splits to the bag. Measures 9in long.
BR(S) FF enamel doorplate LADIES ROOM. In very good condition with one small face chip , measures 18in x 6in.
BR(M) platform destination board STATIONS TO BURY, BOLTON AND WIGAN. Double sided painted wood complete with metal surround. Both sides in very good condition. Measures 54in x 5.5in.
Great Eastern Railway small Shunt signal arm. The cast iron spectacle plate has GER EC&JK LD clearly cast into it and the wooden arm still has all bar one of its original metal letters. A rare survivor measuring 38in long.
Totem BR(W) HF WORCESTER SHRUB HILL from the former Midland & Great Western Joint station opened in 1850 and situated a short distance from the city. The Oxford Worcester & Wolverhampton Railway line diverged toward Droitwich and the Hereford line diverged toward Malvern. In excellent condition with normal edge chipping.
Diesel worksplate BRITISH RAILWAYS CREWE BUILT 1965 POWER EQUIPMENT BY BRUSH ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING COMPANY LTD AND SULZER ex BR diesel class 47 originally numbered D1968 then 47516 in 1973 and 47708 in 1979. It carried the names Waverley and Templec ombe. Allocated new to 64B Haymarket and withdrawn from Crewe in and scrapped at Crewe works in 1995. Rectangular cast aluminium measures 13in x 6.5in. In as removed condition.

Midland and Great Northern Railway 3 Aspect Handlamp stamped in the reducing cone M&GNJR and brass plated on the side M&GNJR MELTON PASS 450. Complete with reservoir burner and all glasses. In nicely restored condition.
Great Western Railway cast iron signal box board PRINCE OF WALES DOCK JC SIGNAL BOX. From the former box on the entrance to the Swansea docks yards. In as stored condition since removal measures 108in x 8.75in.
Smokebox numberplate 48099. Ex LMS Stanier 8F 2-8-0 built at Crewe in 1939 and originally numbered LMS 8099. Allocated to Heaton Mersey, Toton, Nottingham, Annesley, and 10C Fleetwood from where it was withdrawn in July 1965. Scrapped later the same year at Cashmore's Great Bridge. In original condition.
Worksplate No 61371 1948 ex LNER Thompson B1 4-6-0 built by The North British Locomotive Company Glasgow as order number L997 and works number 26830 ordered in 1948 and delivered in 1950. Allocated to Lincoln, Cambridge and 31B March from where it wa s withdrawn in September 1962. Scrapped the following year at Cashmores Great Bridge. Oval engraved brass in lightly cleaned condition measures 12in x 6.5in.

Allocated to Cardiff East Dock and 88A Cardiff Cathays from where it was withdrawn in November 1964 and scrapped the following year at R.S. H ayes/Birds Bridgend. In original condition as stored since 1965 with a slight bend along the top edge.
Tenderplate GREAT WESTERN RAILWAY COMPANY SWINDON WORKS 1814 AUG 1911 3500 GALLONS from a standard Churchward tender that were used on amongst other locomotives Castles, Halls, Granges and Manors. Oval engraved brass measuring 11.25in x 8.25in. Face restored.
Nameplate LEANDER ex LMS Stanier Jubilee 4-6-0 built at Crewe in 1936 and numbered LMS 5690 and BR 45690. Allocated to 22A Bristol Barrow Road for all of its Post war working life and withdrawn from there in March 1964. Saved for preservation and now privately owned and certainly a famous engine. In totally original condition with green paint around the edge and red paint visible under the black, rear stamped with two dots indicating this is the right hand side plate.
Cambrian Railway wall mounted Platform Lamp with original station name paper lamp tablet ELSON HALT. The case is plated CAM RYL and is in nicely restored condition measuring 20in tall , 10in wide and 8in deep. Elson Halt was between Ellesmere and Ove rton-On-Dee and was closed in 1962.
London Transport Underground enamel target/bullseye sign WOOD GREEN with original bronze frame. In excellent condition measures 60in x 41.5in.

Nameplate ELGAR ex British Railways class 92 electric 92009. Built by Brush Loughborough works number 1073 and introduced June 1994 carrying a transfer applied name of Elgar. After a period of storage, the cast Elgar plates were fitted May 1995. Thes e nameplates were removed May 2009 and the loco later renamed Marco Polo. Stored Crewe EMD 2013 and still there. Cast aluminium in as removed condition and measures 26in x 9.75in. Sold on behalf of DB Cargo (UK) Ltd and comes complete with a certificate of authenticity.

BR(E) FF enamel sign GENTLEMEN with silhouette pictogram. Double sided with original mounting bracket. Both sides are in very good condition with minor chipping to one corner. Measures 36in x 12in. These signs were used at the ports like Harwich.
HST Intercity left hand facing Swallow as fitted to the British Railways Class 43 HST Power Cars. Stainless steel, measures 32in x 34in. In as removed condition.
Totem BR(SC) FF CORSTORPHINE from the former North British Railway Terminus station in Edinburgh on the branch from Haymarket which closed in 1968. In good condition with a crease to the right hand side.
Nameplate WOLVERHAMPTON STEEL TERMINAL ex BR class 56 56069. Built at BREL Doncaster in December 1979, named in July 1998 and name removed in January 2001. Locomotive transferred to France September 2004 scrapped at EMR Kingsbury in September 2012. C ast aluminium in ex loco condition measures 61in x 20in. In as removed condition, and comes complete with a certificate of authenticity issued by DB Cargo (UK) Ltd.
Cabside numberplate EBBW VALE SI&C CO LIMITED EBBW VALE WORKS No 40. Ex Kitson & Co Ltd works number 3133 built in 1889 and originally supplied to the Cardiff Railway for use at Bute Docks and numbered CR 30, it was absorbed into Great Wester n railway stock in March 1929 as GWR 691 via Wynne Jones a dealer in Swansea, It then went to Richard Thomas & Co Ltd, Ebbw Vale after purchasing the Ebbw Vale Works site from the receivers in November 1939 and named CWMCARN. It was scrapped in 1946. Oval cast brass, in as removed condition, measures 15.75in x 7.75in. measures 15.75in x 7.75in.
Worksplate GREAT NORTHERN RAILWAY CO MAKERS DONCASTER No 778 1898 ex Ivatt J4 0-6-0, later J3, originally numbered GNR 329, LNER 3329, LNER 4131 and BR 64131. Allocated to New England and 40F Boston from where it was withdrawn in December 1954 and sc rapped. Oval cast brass, face restored, measures 12.25in x 7.5in.
BR(W) FF enamel Signalbox Board BODMIN ROAD. Measures 78in x 12in and is in very good condition with some small chips and a diagonal repair across the face. Photographs also show that these were also used as Running in Boards at this station.

Allocated to Cardiff Cathays, Treherbert, Barry, Cardiff East Dock, Shrewsbury, Stafford Road and 81A Old Oak common from where it was withdr awn in September 1964 and scrapped later the same year at Birds Risca. In original condition.
A beautifully detailed Railway Signal Co. 5-lever fully interlocked demonstration scale model lever frame with working gate wheel and mechanism together with signal box diagram which includes locking chart. The style of frame is representative of the first version of tappet locked lever frame manufactured by the company at its Fazakerley works between 1884 and the early 1900s. The model is thought to have been built early in the 20th century and is clearly engraved with the company's name. It is mounted on a wooden table with a brass base and stands some 20.5in tall. There is a minor fracture to the gate wheel locking mechanism.
