Allocated to Leeds Neville Hill, Starbeck, Selby and 52A Gateshead from where it was withdrawn in December 1962. Scra pped at Darlington Works the following year. Oval cast brass, face restored, measures 9in x 5in.

Allocated to Bournemouth, Nine Elms and 71A Eastleigh from where it was withdrawn in September 1961 and scr apped. Face restored, rear original and hasn't been skimmed.

Allocated to St Margarets, Parkhead, and 67B Hurlford from where it was withdrawn in December 1962 and scrapped the following year at Darlington Works. Face restored oval cast brass with renumbering strip measures 9in x 5in.
Smokebox numberplate 4155 ex GWR Collett 2-6-2T built at Swindon in 1947. Allocated to Worcester, Wellington and 84E Tyseley from where it was withdrawn in September 1965. Scrapped the following year at Birds, Long Marston. In lightly face restored c ondition.
Silver presentation cup presented to CARMEN T.H.C. TWINBERROW G.W.R. HOCKLEY FOR BEST HORSE AND HARNESS APRIL 23rd 1931 BY MR & MRS W.E.FLOYD. Hallmarked Birmingham 1929 sterling silver and weighs 550g. Tommy Twinberrow was employed by The Great Western Railway as a Carter at Moor Street Goods Yard and passed away aged 63 years in 1954. Accompanying the lot are various copies of photographs of Tommy at work and with his family. Also various GWR correspondence and certificates. A lovely item especially with all of his family history.

Together with a similar from the London & Greenwi ch Railway company. Both are in good condition and measure 1.125in diameter.

Nameplate THE GEORDIE ex British Railways class 47 diesel 47403. Built by Brush Works and introduced December 1962. Named 2rd February 1982 at Newcastle Central Station, the nameplates removed 09/86. Withdrawn March 1986 and scrapped November 1994 at Crewe Works. The name was reapplied to 47411 at Gateshead Depot April 1987 and removed May 1988. The name was then applied to 47503 at Crewe Diesel Depot August 1988 and removed June 1991. Cast aluminium in as removed condition and measures 59in x 17.75in.

Cabside numberplate 5222 ex British Railways diesel class 25 D5222 / 25072. Built at Derby in 1963 and allocated to 14A Cricklewood and withdrawn from Crewe in 1985, stored at Toton then moved to Vic Berry Leicester where it was sold in 1988 to the S windon & Cricklade Railway, Blunsdon where it was restored using these GWR style numberplates and used briefly at Whatley Quarry shunting stone wagons. Rectangular cast aluminium is as removed condition.

Diesel worksplate THE ENGLISH ELECTRIC CO LTD VULCAN WORKS NEWTON-LE-WILLOWS ENGLAND No 3418/ D876 1963 ex British Railways Diesel Class 37 originally numbered D6932 then 37232 in 1974. Allocated new to 87E Landore and named The Institution of Railwa y Signal Engineers in 1990. Withdrawn in December 1999 and scrapped. Rectangular chromed cast brass measures 10in x 4.5in. Has been cleaned but still shows traces of BR blue paint on the front and edges, slight damage to the right hand bottom corner.
