London & North Western Railway official hand coloured PLANS for the lines in North Monmouthshire dated 1871. This is a large style LNWR plan of 7 pages/maps covering Brynmawr down to Blaenavon H.L. Station, through Waenavon which was once the hig hest main line station in Great Britain. Also shows the branch from Waenavon to the colliery. The passenger line closed in May 1941. In excellent condition measures 42in x 26in.
Great Western Railway official hand coloured PLANS for the lines radiating from Llanelly. Thirty pages in three volumes in a book type slip case dated 1881. Overall size 12in x 7in x 2in. The three volumes are St Davids Branch, Caernarvon Branch and Mountain Branch (Tirydail to Cross Hands Colliery).

Hull & Barnsley Railway 12 inch mahogany cased fusee railway clock with a rectangular plated chain driven English fusee movement with turned pillars, supplied to the H&BR circa 1885. The original dial displays BR(NE) 2514 and the case has one side door and a bottom door secured with a brass lock. The LNER clock records show this clock as last in use at Low Moor Motive Power Running Foreman's office where it was moved to in 1959, previously being in use at Carlton Towers Booking office near Selby on the Hull & Barnsley station, they also record it was sold through Rail Curios York on 17th October 1975 In working order but not checked for accuracy complete with pendulum and key.
BR(M) 12 inch oak cased railway clock with Smiths going barrel movement. The original dial has Arabic numerals and BR(M) 18746. The Oak case has a rather faded Collectors Corner label on it which reads AM Toton. In working condition but not checked f or accuracy complete with key. A nice entry level railway clock.
London Midland & Scottish Railway 10 inch oak cased fusee railway clock with a rectangular plated English fusee movement, supplied circa 1930. The original dial displays BR(E) 15088 which would have been applied around 1950 when the Eastern regio n took over some former Midland region clocks. The case has one side door and a bottom door with cock beading and lock missing. The LNER clock records show this clock as last used at Chesterfield, Goods Brompton Wharfe Weigh Machine Office and that it was LMS clock number 12575. In working order but not checked for accuracy complete with pendulum and key. Comes with a copy of the LNER clock record.
Midland Railway oak cased 12in dial fusee Railway clock by John Smith & Sons of Derby. Circa 1870. The English chain driven fusee movement with rectangular plates, the original dial is written LNER 14233 and visible as ghosted writing is John Smi th & Sons Midland Clock Works Queen St Derby. The oak case has 2 side doors and a bottom door and is in good condition and retains its original spun brass bezel. The LNER clock records show this clock as last in use at Tinsley AM (Area Manager). In Working order but not checked for accuracy complete with pendulum and key.
LNER Pullman clock No 11395. With an 8 day English lever movement, 7.5in silvered dial with wax filled numerals and makers name H.Hughes & Son and LNER 11395 painted on and a steel case with a cast brass bezel. This clock when taken out of servic e from the Pullman cars and ended up at Doncaster Works Medical centre Ambulance Room. In working condition but not tested for timekeeping, complete with key. In nice original condition
North Eastern Railway 12 inch mahogany cased fusee railway clock with a rectangular plated chain driven English fusee movement with screwed pillars, supplied to the NER circa 1900. The original dial displays BR(NE) 4457 and the case has one side door and a bottom door secured with a brass lock. The LNER clock records show this clock as last in use at Hull King George Dock Agent. In working order but not checked for accuracy complete with pendulum and key.
South Eastern & Chatham Railway oak cased 18 inch dial weight driven regulator railway clock supplied to the SECR circa 1900 probably by Grimshaw Baxter & Elliott Ltd of London. The original dial has been repainted by John Walker post 1948 st yle and is numbered 920 SE the BR(S) is faintly visible at the top. The oak cased has been cleaned and has a brass numberplate 920 screwed on the inside of the door, there is a piece of moulding missing from the top tight had of the hood and also a piece on the bottom right hand side. The large brass rectangular plated movement has four spoke wheels, deadbeat escapement, Harrison's maintaining power, wooden pendulum rod, weight, weight pulley and key is in working condition but untested. Stands 82.5in tall x 23in wide. The Southern railway clock records show it spent its railway working life at Maidstone West Up Platform.
London Brighton and South Coast Railway 14 inch dial mahogany cased fusee drop dial clock supplied to the railway in 1851 by William Wright of Tooley Street London at a cost of 7-0-0d. The case with flame mahogany veneer carved ears and LB&SCR nu mberplate 145 screwed onto the front is in excellent condition. The English chain fusee movement with rectangular plates with shaped shoulders is in good clean condition and the dial has been restored to its original pre grouping dial writing of LB&SCR 145. The Southern Railway clock records show it last in use at Holland Road Goods Office. A lovely early clock in working condition complete with pendulum and key, but not tested for timekeeping. Rare to find a LB&SCR still with its enamel numberplate as they were only applied to around the first 220 clocks.
Great Eastern Railway 6inch Mahogany cased Fusee Bracket clock supplied to the G.E.R. by Bevan of Tottenham London circa 1880. The English chain driven fusee movement has rectangular snailed plates, the dial has been re written to its original style with GER 822 and retains its original cast brass bezel with a keyed lock. The Gothic style case has a glazed rear door with the GER ivorine numberplate 822 screwed to the inside. The L.N.E.R. records show that this clock was used at Liverpool Street Station Goods Manager. A rare and unusual Railway timepiece used by senior employees, complete with pendulum and keys and in working condition but not tested for timekeeping, stands 15in tall.
