London & North Western Railway 8 inch mahogany cased fusee railway clock with a cast brass bezel and a rectangular plated wire driven English fusee movement. Supplied to the LNWR circa 1870-1880 by John Walker London and numbered 2260. The origin al dial displays N. Ball & Son Leicester which would have been applied when Ball's took over clocks in this area and has been covered with a subsidiary dial correctly written JNo WALKER 68, CORNHILL & 230 REGENT ST LONDON. The case has one side door and a bottom door secured with a brass lock and the LNWR enamel clock numberplate 2260 is screwed onto the left hand side. The LNER clock records show this clock as last in use at Thorpe On The Hill Signal box and was numbered BR(E) 15539 but number not applied. This clock was restored and overhauled by Dr D.R. Parr and comes complete with a comprehensive information sheet and a copy of the LNER clock record. In working order but not checked for accuracy complete with pendulum and key.
Taff Vale Railway 12 inch mahogany cased drop dial trunk clock. The original dial is lettered BR-W and ghosted T.V.R. Collings Cardiff. The English wire driven fusee movement with shaped shoulders has been recently been lightly cleaned and oiled and is in good condition. The case with flame mahogany veneer, brass bow tie lenticle window with the glass replaced with a mahogany panel, 2 side doors and bottom door with GWR ball bearing catch is in good ex service condition. The GWR ivorine numberplate GWR 2163 is screwed to the left hand side. A lovely timepiece supplied by J. Collings of Cardiff circa 1870. In working condition complete with pendulum and key.
Great Western & London & North Western Joint Railway (Birkenhead Joint Committee) 14 inch mahogany cased drop dial fusee railway clock with a spun brass bezel. The rectangular plated wire driven English fusee movement with shaped shoulders is attached to the dial by means of a false plate. The original dial displays L&NWR JOYCE WHITCHURCH. The superb mahogany trunk case with ebonised stringing and carved ears has two side doors and a bottom door secured with a brass lock and has the LNWR enamel clock numberplate 62 screwed to the front and LMS brass clock numberplate 9516 screwed to the side and ex Capenhurst written on the back. A rare clock supplied circa 1850 possibly by one of the top London makers and then later taken over by Joyce. In good working order complete with pendulum and key. This clock is featured in the Railway clock book by I.P. Lyman page 131.
London & North Western Railway 8 inch mahogany cased fusee railway clock with a cast brass bezel and a rectangular plated wire driven English fusee movement. The original dial displays WRAY & SON BIRMINGHAM L&N.W.RY Coy. The case has one side door and a bottom door secured with a brass lock and has the LNWR enamel clock numberplate 2019 screwed to the side. A rare clock from one of the smaller suppliers to the LNWR circa 1880. In good working order complete with pendulum and key. This clock is featured in the Railway clock book by I.P. Lyman page 102.
Manchester Sheffield and Lincolnshire mahogany cased 12 inch fusee railway clock with a large A frame chain driven English fusee movement in cleaned condition supplied by W. McFerran of Victoria St Manchester. The original dial lettered BR(E) 8334 an d the rear of the dial is painted BR(E) 8334 and repaired June 2000 Ian Lyman. The ebonised mahogany case has the original side flap door, a replaced bottom door secured with a brass turn catch and a spun brass bezel. The LNER clock records show this clock as last in use at Grimsby Docks Parcels office and was MSL clock number 359. In working order but not checked for accuracy complete with pendulum and key. Circa 1870.
London and South Western Railway 18 inch double dial V shaped wall mounted clock supplied to the LSWR in 1891 by John Gaydon of Barnstaple at a cost of 20-0-0d. The weight driven movement is complete with both dial gears and freely turns, the weight and pendulum are missing. The original white enamel dials are lettered JOHN GAYDON 99 HIGH ST BARNSTAPLE No 100. The wooden case is in very good condition and retains its original green painted finish and both cast brass bezels, one lacking glass. The Southern Railway clock records show that this clock was in use at Plymouth Friary Station Platform and was Transferred to the Western Region 1/10/1950. This is the only clock of this size supplied to the L&SWR and is worthy of restoration. Measures 20in deep, 24in tall and each side 24in.
Great Eastern Railway 8 inch mahogany cased railway clock supplied by Seth Thomas of Connecticut America circa 1900. The dial has been re written in LNER times and retains its original ivorine numberplate 4176 and original Seth Thomas Moon hands, the case is branded on the back GER four times. The LNER clock records show this clock was last in Railway service at Blackwall Goods Foreman's Main Office. In working condition complete with key.
LB&SCR 12 inch Mahogany cased fusee dial clock with a cast brass bezel, supplied to the London Brighton and South Coast Railway circa 1910-13. The chain driven English fusee movement is in clean condition and is of typical London style with recta ngular plates. The white enamel screen printed and hand painted dial has been partially restored with LB&SCR replacing B.R.(S) and 1077 replacing 1077B but the rest showing John Walker 1, South Molton St London is original. The rear of the mahogany case is stamped 1077 B. The Southern clock records show that this clock was originally supplied to Brambletye Signal Box, Forest Row and was later transferred to Wimbledon Signal & Telegraph Office. In working order but not checked for accuracy complete with pendulum and key.
LMS 8 inch mahogany cased railway clock with a spun brass bezel and a Smiths going barrel platform escapement movement. The original dial is lettered John Walker 1, South Molton St London 15555 and the oval LMS brass numberplate 15555 is pinned to th e top of the backbox. In working order but not checked for accuracy complete with key. Circa 1940.
London & North Western Railway 6inch Mahogany cased Fusee Bracket clock supplied to the LNWR. by John Walker of London circa 1910. The English fusee movement has rectangular plates and the original dial has L.N.W.R. JNo Walker 1 South Molton St W To H.M. The King painted on and retains its original cast brass bezel. The mahogany case has a rear door with a lock. A nice Railway timepiece used in offices, complete with pendulum and keys and in working condition but not tested for timekeeping, stands 12.5in tall.
North Eastern Railway 18 inch mahogany cased drop dial fusee railway clock with a cast brass bezel. and rectangular plated wire driven English fusee movement. The restored dial displays W.B. HEADLAM STOCKTON ON TEES N.E.R. and has BR(E) 13755 pencill ed on the back. The superb mahogany trunk case with carved ears has one side door and a bottom door secured with a brass turn and has 13755 stamped into the back of the case. A huge fusee clock, in Working order but not checked for accuracy complete with pendulum and key.
Great Central Railway nickel cased pocket watch with an English lever movement top wound and top set. The dial is enamelled A.G.BURRELL & Co SHEFFIELD. and has a couple of minor hairlines. The nickel case is hand engraved on the rear GCR 1999. In good working condition.
Great Western Railway nickel cased pocket watch with a Rotherhams London English lever movement No 215968, top wound and lever set. The dial is enamelled G.W.R and is free from cracks and chips and is one of the best we have seen for a while. The rea r of the case is hand engraved G.W.R 2310. In good clean working condition and complete with a hallmarked silver Albert and Fob.

The dial has one small hairline and is enamelled GWR, the rear of the case is hand engraved GWR 2225. In working condition but not checked for accuracy.
Great Northern Railway (Canada) brass cased Pocket Watch with a top wound top set 19 Jewel movement, engraved GREAT NORTHERN. The dial is enamelled GREAT NORTHERN and has a chip at the edge of the 3 o'clock minute ring. The rear of the case is engrav ed with a stag and mountains. Measures 2in diameter and is in working condition.
Great Eastern Railway GOLD FREE PASS enamelled to front GREAT EASTERN RLY PASS 1st ALL STATIONS MR J.B. HARPER. Numbered on the back 569. In very good condition measures 1.25in diameter. John Bradford Harper was born in Malton 1854, he joined the Nor th Eastern Railway and was a clerk in 1871 at Driffield, then in 1901 Traffic Manager and by 1922 Assistant General Superintendent and started collecting artefacts from the Stockton & Darlington Railway, which were exhibited at the 1925 Centenary, he also founded a committee and was responsible for the formation of the York Railway Museum, Queens Road was opened around 1926/7.

Both are in excellent condition.
North British Steam Packet Co silver FREE PASS No26. Shield shaped measuring 1.25in tall, in excellent condition.
North British Railway Company FREE PASS numbered 38 issued to James Blain. Octagonal shaped measuring 1.25in. Full Coat Of Arms to front and NBRC to rear. In excellent condition.
The Caledonian Steam Packet Company FREE PASS number 2 issued to G.W. Stewart. Hallmarked .375 9 carat gold and is in excellent condition measuring 1.125in diameter. G.W. Stewart was Chairman of the British Railways (Scottish Region) Board.
Amalgamated Society Railway Servant A.S.R.S. Scottish Railway Strike 1890-91 silver medallion issued to J. Sutherland. Shield shaped measures 0.75in tall. These were issued to employees of the Caledonian Railway who went on strike demanding a ten hou r working day.
A pair of free passes issued to C.L Smith. Gold BRITISH RAILWAYS BOARD No 28 and a Silver LONDON TRANSPORT EXECUTIVE No S183 Both are in good condition but slightly worn. C.L. Smith was the Managing Director of the British Railways property Board. Bo th measure 1.125in diameter.

GWR bound volumes of the Great Western Railway Magazines 1905-1947. Most are in very good condition. The GWR Magazine started in late 1888 but in 1905 the page size was reduced to a more manageable format and stayed at that size until 1947, therefore 1905 was the first year that the bound version in the green cloth with leather spine was issued. A chance to obtain a full run of the bound version.
