Nameplate SPIRIT OF DAGENHAM plus FORD badge ex British Railways class 90 electric 90037. Built by Crewe Works and introduced April 1990. Named 19th May 2001 at the Ford Car Plant Dagenham. The loco was stored for several years during which time the nameplates were removed possibly in 2020? Currently back in traffic with DB Cargo. Cast aluminium in as removed condition nameplate measures 50.5in x 7.5in and badge 26.5in x 12in. Sold on behalf of DB Cargo (UK) Ltd and comes complete with a certificate of authenticity.
Nameplate MILES BEEVOR ex LNER Gresley A4 Class 4-6-2 built at Doncaster in 1937 and numbered LNER 4485 then 587 and 26 and lastly BR 60026. Originally named Kestrel and renamed Miles Beevor in 1947. Allocated new to Haymarket, then Gateshead, Kings Cross, Doncaster, Grantham, New England, St Margarets and lastly 61B Aberdeen Ferryhill from where it was withdrawn from in December 1965, the loco then went to Crewe where some parts were used on 60007 and then scrapped by Hughes Bolckows North Blyth in 1968. Face restored rear in original condition.
Totem BR(M) HF PRIMROSE HILL from the former North London Railway station between South Hampstead and Camden Road which closed in 1992. In very good condition with a couple of small face chips and minor edge chipping. A rare totem that has not appear ed at auction before.
GWR cast iron cabside numberplate 3664 ex Collett 0-6-0 PT built at Swindon in 1940. Allocated to Stafford Road and 86F Aberbeeg from where it was withdrawn in May 1964 and scrapped at Cashmores Newport. Face restored.
Worksplate THE DREWRY CAR CO LTD CITY WALL HOUSE LONDON EC2 ASSOCIATED WITH ROBERT STEPHENSON & HAWTHORNS LTD DARLINGTON LOCO No 2682 204 HP 1960 ex British Railways diesel class 04 0-6-0 D2301. Allocated new to 41J Langwith Junction and withdraw n from 1E Bletchley in September 1968 and scrapped at Steel breaking and dismantling, Chesterfield in January 1970. Oval cast brass face restored, measures 8in x 5in.

Allocated to Pantyffynon, Neyland, Stourbridge Junction and 84J Croes Newydd from where it was withdrawn in July 1963 and scrapped at Swindon Works. Rectangular cast brass, face restored, measures 8in x 5in.

British Railways aluminium sign MERSEYSIDE PULLMAN as used on the service introduced in May 1985 that ran from London Euston to Liverpool Lime Street daily. Screen printed aluminium in excellent condition measuring 23in x 12.25in.
British Railways cast aluminium depot plaque for Immingham depicting the Star and Garter. Square cast aluminium measures 17.75in x 17.75in in as removed condition.
South African Railways brass cabside numberplate 2679 19D ex 4-8-2 built by Fried Krupp in 1939 as works number 1862. Face restored, rear original, with photos and details cellotaped on.
Smokebox numberplate 5654 ex GWR Collett 0-6-2 T built at Swindon in 1926. Allocated to Cardiff Cathays and 88F Treherbert from where it was withdrawn in December 1963 and scrapped at Birds Risca. In restored condition.

Worksplates, a pair; YORKSHIRE ENGINE CO LIMITED MEADOW HALL WORKS SHEFFIELD No 2732 1959 ex 0-4-0 Diesel Electric Shunter delivered to REA Handling at Bidston Docks and named Labrador. It was last recorded as being transferred by REA Ltd to the Fire Service College at Moreton-In-Marsh. Both are oval cast brass in as removed condition measuring 11in x 6in. A rare chance to obtain both plates.
K.P.E.V. (Koniglich Preubische Eisenbahn-Verwaltung) Prussian State Railways painted steel coach plate depicting the Imperial Eagle. Measures 10in x 8in. In as removed condition and still showing traces of a white painted cross which was used to sign ify that these trains had been liberated by Allied forces.
GWR sign BEWARE OF TRAINS. Wood with cast iron letters, in nicely restored condition, measures 27.5in x 18.5in.
Worksplate NORTH BRITISH LOCOMOTIVE COMPANY LTD GLASGOW ATLAS WORKS No 22772 1921. Ex Kalabagh Bannu Railway 2.6ft gauge GS class 2-8-2 numbered 33. Later incorporated into North Western Railway of India as GS number 68, after partition it became Pak istan railways number 68. It worked on the same system all it’s working life, laterally known as the Mari Indus system until closure in the early 1990's. Oval cast brass face lightly cleaned, measures 9.5in x 6.25in
