Great Western Railway brass signalbox lever lead 47 DISC FOR No 49 with 9 combinations of levers to pull. Measures an impressive 18.5 inches long and has three mounting brackets on the back. In ex box condition.
Worksplate BEYER PECOCK & CO LD MANCHESTER 1914. Locos built that year SE&CR L1 4-4-0 760 – 781 and South African 3’ 6” gauge 4-8-2 14R class numbers 1746 - 1760. Oval cast brass face restored, measures 9.75in x 5.75in.
Totem BR(S) HF BARNEHURST from the former South Eastern and Chatham Railway station between Blackheath and Dartford. In good condition with some edge chips and light scratching to the letters. Half flanged totems from this station are very rare as th ey were only on the platform extensions for the 10 Car Scheme in the 1950's the remainder of the platforms had SR targets and later fully flanged totems. Last at auction 10 years ago.
Worksplate BEYER PEACOCK GORTON LTD MANCHESTER SERIAL No 8007 1964 ex BR Diesel Class 17 D8590. Allocated new to 51L Thornaby and withdrawn from 52A Gateshead in March 1971 and scrapped at BREL Glasgow. Rectangular cast aluminium, face restored, meas ures 12.25in x 5.25in. A rare plate as only 29 of the Class were built by Beyer Peacock.
BR(SC) FF enamel doorplate WAITING ROOM. In very good condition with a few small edge chips that have been touched in. Measures 18in x 6in.
GWR etched glass lamp tablet POWERSTOCK from the former Great Western Railway station between Bridport and Maiden Newton which closed in 1975. In excellent condition measures 12.5in x 3.5in.
BR(E) FF enamel direction sign STATION with British Railways totem at the top and right facing arrow. Measures 21in x 10.5in and is in very good condition with minor edge chipping and one face repair.
London & North Western Railway Fletcher mahogany cased dual line non permissive Block Instrument with underslung bell. Stamped in the back L&NWR No2808. Also, ivorine plated HARROW. Stands 23in tall and is in ex railway condition. Complete wi th side lock key.

Nameplate BARFLEUR ex LMS Stanier Jubilee 4-6-0 built at Crewe in 1936 and numbered LMS 5685 and BR 45685. Allocated most of its working life to 22A Bristol Barrow Road from where it was withdrawn from in April 1964, scrapped the following year at Bi rds Risca. In as removed condition.
Totem BR(NE) HF BROUGH from the former North Eastern Railway station between Hull and Selby. In excellent condition with minor edge chipping. This is the more desirable black edged lettered version.
BR(W) brass cabside numberplate 8431 ex Hawksworth 0-6-0 PT built by W.G.Bagnall in 1953 as works number 2941. Allocated to Swansea East Dock and 87A Neath Court Sart from where it was withdrawn in August 1964 and scrapped at Birds Morriston. Lightly face restored.
Worksplate GREENWOOD & BATLEY LIMITED LEEDS No 1618 BUILT 1939. Ex 10 ton 0-4-0 battery loco supplied to the Admiralty for use Chattenden and Upnor line in 1939 and scrapped there sometime in the 1950s. Oval cast brass, face restored, measures 9. 525in x 5.5in. Both in original Western region glazed frames measuring 8in x 5.55in.

Oval hand engraved brass face lightly cleaned and stamped in the back 3496 and 3941. Measures 13.25in x 7.5in.

British Railways cabside DOUBLE ARROW as removed from a class 47 47339 No2 end. Measures 29.5in long and is in as removed condition with some BR grey paint.

Scrapped at Cashmores Great Bridge. In lightly cleaned original condition. This was a regular Banker at Ledbury. NOTE This is the other side to the one we sold in 2017.

Worksplate GREAT NORTHERN RY CO MAKERS DONCASTER WORKS No 1204 1908 ex GNR Ivatt Class J21 LNER Class J1 0-6-0 numbered GNR 4, LNER 3004, 5003 and BR 65003. It spent most of its working life at Colwick and was withdrawn from 34D Hitchin in January 19 53 and scrapped at Doncaster works. Oval hand engraved brass in basically as removed condition and stamped in the back 3004. Measures 17.5in x 9.5in.

Named GLORIOUS in June 1978 at Laira. Originally allocated to the D05 Sto ke Division and withdrawn in October 1990 and now preserved. Rectangular chromed brass measuring 10.25in x 4.5in. Face cleaned with traces of BR blue paint, rear original.

Totem BR(W) FF READING WEST from the former Great Western station between Reading General and Theale. In excellent condition, a rare totem that has only appeared twice before at auction the last time being 10 years ago.
GWR brass cabside numberplate 1003 ex GWR Hawksworth 4-6-0 County Class Locomotive number 1003 built Swindon October 1945 and named County Of Wilts. Shedded at Old Oak Common, Laira, Shrewsbury and withdrawn from 83D Laira in October 1962 scrapped in 1964 at Cashmore's Newport. In original condition. Note this is the other side to the one we sold in our November 2018 auction.

Worksplate REBUILT BY BRITISH RAILWAYS 1967 CREWE POWER EQUIPMENT BY ENGLISH ELECTRIC COMPANY LIMITED. Ex British Railways Electric class 74 numbered E6103 and later 74003 in 1974. Withdrawn from Eastleigh in December 1977 after having hauled the cla ss 74 Farewell Railtour, which ran from Waterloo and visited Southampton, Lymington and Bournemouth, among other places, on Saturday 3rd December 1977. Scrapped 3 years alter at Cashmore's Newport. Oval chromed cast brass in face cleaned condition, measures 10.5in x 6in. A rare plate as only 10 original class 71's were rebuilt and renumbered at Crewe.
Worksplate PECKETT & SONS BRISTOL No 923 1901. Ex Class B1 0-6-0ST supplied new to Thomas Fletcher & Co Bolton, Lancs and named Outwood No1 and based at Outwood collieries. In 1909 Thomas Fletcher was taken over by the Clifton & Kersley C oal Co which in turn was taken over by Manchester collieries and the loco renamed just Outwood. Withdrawn and scrapped in 1962. Oval engraved brass in as removed condition. Measures 10.75in x 7.25in.

Tenderplate LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY 5959 1910 ex Robinson 4000 Gallon tender originally paired with Q4 5959 then re-used behind 04 63677 which was withdrawn from Doncaster in 1962 and scrapped. Oval cast iron in restored condition measures 9in x 5in.

Oval engraved brass in original condition complete with most black wax infil, measures 16.25in x 9.5in.

An original Great Eastern Railway locomotive crest from a Claud Hamilton class S46 4-4-0. It was mounted on the leading left-hand splasher. Only 10 locomotives carried such crests. This crest would have been removed in early LNER days (See RCTS - Loc omotives of the LNER Part 3C). In original condition. Heavy cast aluminium, measures 12.5in x 15.75in, complete with 3 of its original back bolts and nuts. Not to be confused with the later lightweight reproductions.

Allocated to Holyhead, Crewe, Longsight, Edge Hill, Kentish Town and 12A Carl isle Kingmoor from where it was withdrawn in February 1964. Scrapped at Arnott & Young Troon. In restored condition.
GWR Jigsaw LOCOMOTIVES IN THE MAKING produced by Chad Valley. Made up to show completeness and tastefully mounted in a wooden frame (note it is not in any way stuck down so can easily be removed if required). Complete with original green marble book type box which is in good condition. Considered to be the scarcest of all the wooden GWR jigsaws. Jigsaw measures 15.5in x 12in.
