Tinplate locomotives given free in Modern Boy magazine in the 1920’s, quantity 2 comprising: GWR King George V presented with the very first issue No 1; LNER Flying Scotsman presented with Modern Boy 4/8/28. Both are the early style with a 90 degree base showing the details. Measures approximately 5in x 2.25in and in extremely good condition. GWR fully titled Signal Box Door Notice NO UNAUTHORIZED PERSON ALLOWED IN THIS BOX BY ORDER. Cast iron 10.75in x 8.25in, as removed condition with original chocolate and cream paintwork.

North British Railway enamel sign Locomotive Act 1861 Bridge Restriction Notice bearing the signature of W.F. Jackson, General Manager Edinburgh January 1898. Makers name Falkirk Iron Co bottom right. A scarce sign with white lettering on deep, coba lt blue ground. Some enamel loss around the edges and bolt holes and a larger loss in the centre, well worth repairing. Measures 18in x 14in.

LMS Brass Stamp INVERNESS (PASS). Wooden handle, overall height is 3.75in. Good condition, slight loss to lower part of handle, doesn't detract.

North British Railway brass Cashbag Plate N.B.R. LUNAN BAY STN. Closed in 1964, the station was between Montrose and Inverkeilor. Excellent condition measuring 2.5in long.

Great North of Scotland Railway chromed brass Thunderer Guards Whistle stamped with company initials GNSR on the side. In working condition. Comes with Albert which also has a worn NUR medallion attached.

LNER Leather Cashbag with brass plate CRUDEN BAY. Ex GNSR station on the Boddam Branch, closed 1932 after a fire destroyed the building the previous year. Very good condition with leather strap and brass hasp very much intact.

Tender Plate number 3946, ex K1 class 62046. Oval cast brass measuring 5in x 3in, face restored. Mounted on a small wooden display plinth.

North British Railway silverplated 1 pint Tankard bearing the company crest on one side. Manufactured by Elkington Plate it stands approximately 4.75in tall. In good overall condition although the crest is rubbed.

Great Western Railway stoneware Ink Bottle nicely inscribed near the base with full company name. Stands almost 7.5in tall and is in extremely good condition.

Midland Railway Signal Lamp Interior complete with original reservoir and burner. A wonderful example in excellent, cleaned condition.

GCR 3 aspect sliding knob Handlamp. Loose BR(E) reservoir with a LNE burner, red aspect glass intact, blue broken, nevertheless, a good example.

LSWR 4 aspect Handlamp with original LSWR reservoir and a BR/SR burner. Brass plated E on reducing cone, all aspects and front lens intact.

GER 3 aspect sliding knob Handlamp with LNE-E reservoir and BR burner. Brass plated with owners name A.L. ILES on reducing cone. Both aspect glasses intact, the red one is quite stiff to turn and needs a little attention.

A pair of Handlamps comprising: GWR 4 aspect complete with reservoir and BR/WR burner. All aspect glasses intact, unrestored; Midland Railway 3 aspect with reservoir and burner, intact glasses but rear brass catch missing. (2 items)
