Smokebox numberplate 47359 ex LMS Fowler 0-6-0 T built by the North British Locomotive Company in 1926 and numbered LMS 16442, 7359 and BR 47359. Allocated to Watford, Camden, Coventry and 5C Stafford from where it was withdrawn in July 1965 and scra pped at Cashmore's Great Bridge. Restored a long time ago.
Great Central Railway cast iron Bridge Plate GCR 464 from a bridge just north of Braunstone & Willoughby. In lightly restored condition measures 14.5in x 12in.

Allocated to Kings Cross, Copley Hill and 50A York from where it was withdrawn in January 1964 and scrapped Darlington Works. Face restor ed rear with other names of similar length plates cast in.

Worksplate GREAT NORTHERN RAILWAY CO No 1536 MAKERS DONCASTER 1922 REBUILT 1945 ex GNR Gresley A1 Pacific 4-6-2 numbered GNR 1470, LNER 4470, 110 and BR 60110 and named Great Northern. Allocated to King's Cross, Grantham, New England and 36A Doncast er from where it was withdrawn in November 1962. Scrapped at Doncaster works. Oval engraved brass, face polished, with 4470 and 110 stamped in the back. Measures 12.5in x 7.5in. 1470 entered traffic one hundred years ago on 11th April 1922. It was rebuilt in 1945 as a prototype for Edward Thompsons A1 class and this GNR worksplate had the company letters filled and a rebuilt plate inserted; a unique feature not seen on any other LNER locomotive. This is a truly historic plate.

Allocated to 1D Devons Road and withdrawn from 30A Stratford in March 1971 and scrapped later the following year at BREL Crewe. Ov al cast brass measuring 11in x 6in. Face lightly cleaned.

Rectangular cast aluminium in as removed condition measures 39.25in x 9.75in. Sold on behalf of Colas Rail in aid of their chosen charity Railway Children.

Allocated to Blaydon, Darlington and 56B Ardsley f rom where it was withdrawn in August 1963 and scrapped at Darlington Works. Restored a long time ago with casting details in the rear.

Allocated to Heaton, and 52A Gateshead from where it was withdrawn in October 1964 and scrapped at Darling ton works. Oval cast brass measures 9in x 5in, face cleaned.

Worksplate THE ENGLISH ELECTRIC CO LTD VULCAN WORKS NEWTON-LE-WILLOWS ENGLAND No 3791/D1162 1968 ex British Railways diesel class 50 originally numbered D421 and 50021 in 1974. Named RODNEY in July 1978. Originally allocated to the LMWL London Midlan d Western Lines and withdrawn from Laira in April 1990 and scrapped on site. In as removed condition as acquired from Doncaster works by the vendors late father who was the Chief Foreman of 4 bay which was the locomotive repair shop and test bays and the stripping shop at British Rail Engineering Ltd. Measures 10.25in x 4.5in.
GWR cast iron cabside numberplate 5514 ex Collett 2-6-2 T built at Swindon in 1927. Allocated to Bristol Bath Road and 85B Gloucester Horton Road from where it was withdrawn in November 1960. Scrapped at Swindon Works. In as removed condition.

Nameplate COMET ex LMS Stanier Jubilee 4-6-0 numbered LMS 5735 and BR 45735. Allocated to Camden, Bushbury, Preston, Edge Hill, Willesden and 16B Annesley from where it was withdrawn in October 1964 and scrapped at Cashmores Great Bridge. Curved cast brass, face restored and rear with one punch mark indicating this is the left hand side. This is from one of only two Jubilees that were rebuilt with LMS 2A boilers and the nameplate was also originally used on Royal Scot 6129.
Nameplate badge COMET BUILT FOR THE LIVERPOOL & MANCHESTER RY IN 1830 ex LMS Royal Scot 4-6-0 6129 built in 1927. Nameplate and badge removed in 1936 and nameplate applied to Jubilee 5735. Oval engraved brass measures 10.5in x 6in.

Sold to the GWR and numbered 3054 and then 3030. Withdra wn in 1948 from Worcester. Diamond shaped cast brass, face restored, with 3030R chalked on the back and stamped 3030. Measures 13in x 5.25in.

Built by the English Electric Company as works number 2918/D570 in September 1961 and numbered D9013, named THE BLACK WATCH in January 1963 at Dundee station by Major General The Visc ount Of Arbuthnot Colonel of Regiment. Allocated new to 64B Haymarket and withdrawn from York in 1981, scrapped at BREL Doncaster. In good condition neatly trimmed complete with Data Panel, York shed code and the bottom half of the York coat of Arms. Measures 31in x 27in. Comes with original BR Collectors corner letter and receipt dated March 1983 and also still retains the original sale sticker on the front.
