Worksplate LMS BUILT 1933 CREWE. Engines built at Crewe that year were Class 5 2-6-0 42945-57/60/63, Patriot Class 6P 4-6-0 Nos 45517-9/23/24/2932/36-41 and the first two Princess Royal Class 8P 4-6-2 Nos 46200/1. Oval cast brass face restored. Measu res 10.25in x 6in.
Three LNER Liverpool Street Station painted steel indicator boards with the following locations; CLACTON, COLCHESTER, FRINTON. All in very good as removed condition measuring 22in x 2.75in.
Smokebox numberplate 64292 ex GCR Robinson 0-6-0 built by Neilson Reid & Co in 1901 and numbered GCR 985, LNER J11 5985 and 4292. Allocated to Staveley G.C and 41A Sheffield Darnall from where it was withdrawn in July 1962 and scrapped at Gorton Works. In restored condition.
Worksplate THE ENGLISH ELECTRIC COMPANY LTD LONDON THE VULCAN FOUNDRY LTD LOCOMOTIVE WORKS ENGLAND No 2369/D397 1957 ex British Railways diesel class 40 originally numbered D202 then 40002 in 1974. Allocated new to 30A Stratford and withdrawn from KD Carlisle Kingmoor in November 1981. Scrapped at BREL Doncaster in 1985 two years later. Rectangular chromed brass measures 10.25in x 4.5in. Face restored.
GWR cast iron cabside numberplate 3655 ex Collett 0-6-0 PT built at Swindon in 1940. Allocated to 86J Aberdare for most of its working life from where it was withdrawn in December 1962 and scrapped at R.S. Hayes/Birds, Tremains Yard, Bridgend. In ori ginal condition as stored since 1965.
Totem BR(W) FF CRAVEN ARMS & STOKESAY from the former Shrewsbury and Hereford Joint Railway station between Abergavenny and Shrewsbury. In excellent condition.
Great Western Railway leather document bag brass plated on the front G.W.R. SUPERINTENDENT WEYMOUTH and on the inside G.W.R. AUDIT OFFICE PADDINGTON. IN very good condition measures 16in x 10in.
Midland Railway mahogany cased Rotary Block Instrument stamped in the top MR Co 1914. In original condition and complete with key for rear. Probably one of the best examples we have seen, measures 18in tall.
Worksplate 1004 BUILT GORTON WORKS 1949 ex Thompson B1 4-6-0 numbered 61346. Allocated to Kittybrewster, Aberdeen Ferryhill and 62A Thornton Junction from where it was withdrawn in June 1964. and scrapped by P.W. McLellan (Langloan). Oval cast brass, face cleaned, measures 9in x 5in. A rare plate as Gorton only built 10 B1's and only two carried the works number as on this plate.
Southern Railway enamel target station sign RAYNES PARK from the former London & South Western Railway station between Wimbledon and Surbiton. In very good condition with minor edge chipping, measures 33in long.

London Transport enamel doorplate BUILDING DEPT. In very good condition with minor chipping around the screw holes, measures 4.25in x 3.5in.
Glasgow & South Western Railway signal box shelfplate CORKERHILL No2. Hand stamped brass in ex box condition measures 4in x .75in.
Worksplate LMS BUILT DERBY ex Stanier 4P 2-6-4T numbered LMS 2513 and BR 42513. Allocated to 33C Shoeburyness for most of its working life and withdrawn from there in August 1962 and scrapped at Doncaster Works. Oval cast brass face restored with 425 13 on the back, measures 10.5in x 6in. The late vendors notes record this plate as from the above locomotive.
Totem BR(S) FF MORTLAKE from the former London and South Western Railway station between Clapham and Richmond. In excellent condition.
Worksplate Andrew Barclay & Sons Co Ltd., numbered LWDMU 690 dated 1985. Ex 4-wheeled DH 230Hp Pacer Class 143, 2-car sets numbered 143601 to 143625, AB numbers 669 to 718/1985 to 1986 If plated in sequence this is ex Set 143611, Cars 55652 or 55 677. The initials stand for Light Weight Diesel Multiple Unit. Bodies were built by Walter Alexander of Falkirk and the Underframes by AB. Cast aluminium in as removed condition measures 10in x 8in.

Smokebox numberplate 9604 ex GWR Collett 0-6-0 PT built at Swindon in 1945. Allocated to Bristol Bath Road and 82C Swindon from where it was withdrawn in December 1962. Scrapped the following year at Cashmore's Newport. In lightly face restored condi tion.
BR(M) FF enamel station direction sign CENTRAL STATION with left facing arrow and British Railways totem. From probably Manchester or Liverpool. In very good condition with some restoration to the right hand edge. Measures 28in x 13in.
British Railways cast aluminium depot plaque for Toton depicting the Cooling Towers. Square cast aluminium measures 17.75in x 17.75in in as removed condition ex 56016.
Nameplate EDSTONE HALLL ex BR-W Hawksworth modified Hall Class 4-6-0 built at Swindon in 1950 as order number 376 and numbered 7921. Allocated to Chester, Hereford, Shrewsbury, Laira and 81A Old Oak Common from where it was withdrawn in December 1963 and scrapped at Birds Risca. In lightly cleaned condition with R 7921 stamped into the back indicating this is the right hand side. Edstone Hall was 5 miles from Stratford Upon Avon

London Underground enamel sign EMBANKMENT BAKERLOO CIRCLE AND DISTRICT LINE shown in colour. Measures 18.75in x 2.75in and is in very good condition with minor chipping to the corners.

Allocated new to 87E Landore and sent to SNCF France 1999-2000 withdrawn and scrapped in September 2000. Rectangular chromed cast brass measures 10in x 4.5in. Has been cleaned but still shows traces of black paint on the front.

Totem BR(W) FF LLANBRADACH from the former Rhymney railway station between Ystrad Mynach and Caerphilly. In very good condition with a few small face and one end chip. A rare totem that was sold in our March auction but now is being re offered as the purchaser changed his mind.
Nameplate TATE LIVERPOOL ex British Railways Virgin Class 390 Pendolino numbered 390006. Formerly named VIRGIN SUN, it carried this plate from October 2008 to mark the opening of this gallery and museum and plates removed by 2019. Rectangular cast al uminium in as removed condition measures 50.75in x 12.5in.

A collection of GWR signal box instruments from Ford Bridge signal box which was on the Shrewsbury Hereford Joint line between Craven Arms and Hereford. To include; a pair of GWR 1947 block instruments, a pair of GWR lamp repeaters, a pair of block b ells, a switching out box and five bakelite repeaters. All in ex box condition and comes with official BR receipt dated 16th March 1989.

Smokebox numberplate 46410 ex LMS Ivatt 2MT 2-6-0 built at Crewe in 1947 and numbered 6410 and later 46410. Allocated to Blackpool Central, Newton Heath, Lancaster Green Ayre and 8C Speke Junction from where it was withdrawn in March 1966. Scrapped a t Cashmores Great Bridge. Face restored.
GWR cast iron seat ends x2 with the GWR Roundel cast into each end. In previously restored condition complete with wooden feet ready to add wood and restore. A lot rarer than the script pattern.
Preston & Longridge Railway Cast iron Boundary post. lettered on the face P&L RY BOUNDARY POST and based on the standard LNWR tombstone type. The Preston and Longridge railway closed to passengers in 1930 and to goods in 1967. An extremely ra re post, successful purchaser to arrange collection from the Preston area.

Allocated new to 82A Bristol Bath Road and withdrawn in 2 000 and scrapped. Oval cast aluminium measures 9.5in x 5.75in. Face restored.
