Fully engraved brass, 13.25in x 7.75in, the front lightly polished, the back stamped 2561 and 62 and the rim stamped 2561.

In as removed condition a rare Wartime cast iron plate and one of only 25 locomotives built with this style of plate.

Yorkshire Engine Company built 20 panniers under license from Hunslet and fitted only one Hunslet plate per locomotive. There are two different patterns for the different batches of 10 and we have one of each pattern in this auction. A rare plate.

In lightly restored condition.
