Brass Pass, face inscribed SIR JJ Ltd WAR DEPt Workmens Train number 1972 , The obverse shows SALISBURY to CODFORD or HEYTESBURY. Sir John Jackson was a leading civil engineer and his company was awarded the War Department Contract for the building of Great War army training camps north-west of Salisbury in 1914 and 1915. He employed thousands of workers, mainly from Salisbury, who were issued these passes. Measures 2in diameter.

Signal Box Diagram, Whitemoor Junction with cut-outs and in original frame. The box was actually called March Whitemoor Junction and along with March North and March West, controlled the triangular junction to Whitemoor Yard, the line to Wisbech and the joint line to Spalding. Measures 77in x 42in.
Signal Box Diagram, Murrow West, with cut-outs in original frame. Situated between March and Spalding, now a private dwelling having been converted into a house. Measures 87in x 32in.

Works/Makers Plate, The BTH Co Ltd London. Sold at Kidlington Auction 27/4/2000 described as - believed to be from a radiator cap of an industrial diesel locomotive. The font style suggests an early plate and interestingly the location is London rath er than Rugby. Oval cast brass 7.25in x 5.5in
Great Northern Railway mahogany cased Pegging Block instrument, stamped 1646 on the handle. In very good original condition, stands 19in tall.
British Railways Southern Region nickel cased pocket Watch with Swiss Montine 15 Jewel movement, top wound and set. Dial is free from chips and cracks and the rear of the case is machine engraved BR(S) 9005. Complete with chain and clip in good worki ng condition but not checked for accuracy.
GWR brass drum clock with original enamel dial GWR KAY & CO PARIS. Stamped 5007 on the case and movement. The French movement has had the GWR modified winder fitted. In good working condition but has not been checked for timekeeping. Dial measure s 3.25in diameter and is free from chips and cracks.
Poster, MINISTRY OF HEALTH SAYS COUGHS AND SNEEZES SPREAD DISEASES by H.M. Bateman. Double Royal size in very good condition with a minor tear at top and has been folded.
