Nameplate NEW ZEALAND ex LMS Stanier Jubilee 4-6-0 built by the North British Locomotive Company, Glasgow in 1934 and numbered LMS 5570 and BR 45570. Allocated to Bristol Barrow Road, Derby, Sheffield Millhouses, Canklow and 41A Sheffield Darnall fro m where it was withdrawn from in December 1962 and scrapped at Crewe Works. In face restored condition.

South Eastern and Chatham Railway two lever Signal Frame with SE&CR cast into both sides. In very good condition stands 56in tall, 42in above floor level.
Worksplate BRUSH SULZER No 577 1965 ex British Railways Diesel Class 47 numbered D1815 and 47334 in 1974. Allocated new to D16 Nottingham Division, named P&O Nedlloyd from 10-1997 to withdrawal in July 2001 after which is was scrapped. Oval cast aluminium, in face restored condition with 47334 stamped in the back. Measures 9.25in x 5.75in.
Smokebox numberplate 63592 ex Great Central Railway Robinson O1 2-8-0 built by The North British Locomotive Company Glasgow in 1912 and numbered GCR 1245, LNER 6245 and 3592. Allocated to Immingham, Sheffield, Retford, loaned to the Western Region, G orton, Colwick, Anneseley and 41H Staveley from where it was withdrawn in July 1963. Scrapped at Doncaster Works. In lightly face restored condition.

Tyers No6 brass and steel single line tablet BOSCARNE JUNC - BODMIN ex London & South Western Railway section on the North Cornwall line. Measures 4.5in diameter and stamped NOT IN USE on the face which was done by the Exeter S&T department t o stop improper use.

Allocated to Immingham, Lincoln, Stratford, Parkeston Quay and 31B March from where it was withdrawn in September 1962 and scrap ped at Central Wagon Co Ince. In as removed condition.
LNER cast iron seat back NORTH THORESBY from the former Great Northern Railway station between Louth and Grimsby. In very good face restored condition, measures 47in x 4.25in.
British Railways cabside Double Arrow from a Class 83 Electric locomotive 83008. In as removed condition with BR blue paint. Measures 30in x 18in. NOTE This style with the internal curves is unique to the Class 83 Locomotives.

Nameplate HARTLEPOOL PIPE MILL ex British Railways Diesel locomotive Class 37 built by English Electric in 1962 and numbered D6736 and 37036 in 1974. Named in 1987, the nameplates were then transferred to 37718 in 1992 and 37682 in 1996. Rectangular cast aluminium in as removed condition except for some small touch ins around the screw holes. Measures 51.5in x 17.5in and comes with DB Schenker certificate.
Nameplate SIR BLAMOR DE GANIS ex Urie King Arthur 4-6-0 built at Eastleigh in 1926 and numbered SR 797 and later BR 30797. Allocated to Stewarts Lane, Ashford, Hither Green, Bricklayers Arms and 74C Dover Marine from where it was withdrawn in August 1959 and scrapped. In face restored condition but not skimmed, rear stamped 797 and casting number E121.

Great Eastern Railway 3 Aspect sliding knob Handlamp stamped in the reducing cone GER and brass plated GN-GE LEA. Complete with all glasses, inner drum and early rape oil reservoir. In good restored condition complete with original back handle.

GWR Brass cabside numberplate 6868 ex Collett Grange 4-6-0 Grange built at Swindon in 1939 and named Penrhos Grange. Allocated to Taunton, Exeter, Penzance, Laira, Didcot and 81F Oxford from where it was withdrawn in October 1965 and scrapped by J Fr iswell at Banbury Shed. Partially face restored.

In as removed condition as acquired from Doncaster works by the vendors late father who was the Chief Foreman of 4 bay which was the locomotive repair shop and test bays and the stripping shop at British Rail Engineering Ltd. Measures 10.125in x 4.5in.

Ex Scottish Trawler named Glenogil which was built in 1902 with a 3 Cylinder steam engine built Lidgerwood and served in WW1 as Boom defence vessel. Rectangul ar hand engraved brass, measures 11.75in x 8in. A very rare plate from before the Speedwell Iron Works was purchased by Wm Beardmore.
Flamecut cabside panel 40097 ex British Railways Diesel locomotive built by English Electric in 1960 and originally numbered D297. In good condition complete with two data panels. All angle removed and small holes drilled in each corner, also visible is 297. Measures 38.5in x 18in.

Worksplate LMS BUILT HORWICH 1896. Ex Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway Aspinal class 27 0-6-0. Oval cast brass face restored measures 10.5in x 6in. Barely visible on the back in yellow crayon we think is number 52527 which fits in with this build date and was a locomotive that survived until 1959.
GWR cast iron cabside numberplate 4685 ex Collett 0-6-0PT built at Swindon in 1944. Allocated to 86H Aberbeeg from where it was withdrawn in September 1962 and scrapped at Cashmores, Newport. In original condition as stored since 1965.
Nameplate badge MERLIN from the LNER Gresley A4 Pacific 4-6-2 LNER No 4486, 588 & 27 and BR No 60027. Built at Doncaster works in 1937 as works number 1851. Allocated new to Haymarket and St Rollox and finally 64A St Margarets from where it was w ithdrawn in September 1965 and scrapped at Campbells Shieldhall. Face restored a long time ago. This is the badge from the other side to the set we sold in November 2021 and appears to be in original condition.
