Smokebox numberplate 42961 ex LMS Stanier 2-6-0 built at Crewe in 1934 and originally numbered LMS 13261 and 2961 in 1934. Allocated to Kentish Town, Crewe, Stoke, Bolton, Aintree, Wigan and 9F Heaton Mersey from where it was withdrawn in August 1965 and scrapped at Birds, Bynea. In face restored condition.

Worksplate BRUSH TRACTION ENGLAND No 76 1958 ex British Railways diesel Class 31 Toffee apple originally numbered D5505 then 31005 in 1974. Allocated new to 30A Stratford and withdrawn from there Feb 1980. Cut up at Doncaster Works Mar 1980. Oval cas t aluminium, face restored with 31005 stamped in the back. Measures 9.5in x 5.75in.

LNER cast iron seat back BATTERSBY from the former North Eastern Railway station between Ingleby and Kildale. Measures 32in x 4.25in. Face restored with a repair to the right hand end.

British Railways cabside DOUBLE ARROW ex British railways Electric class 310 EMU 310074. Measures 19in long and is in as removed condition with plenty of BR Blue paint on the edges.

BR(W) enamel doorplate DEPOSITS. Ex Birmingham Snow Hill station Luggage department. In excellent ex station condition, measures 24in x 6in. A rare and possibly unique enamel.

Nameplate LITTLETON ex Avonside 0-6-0 St works number 1833 of 1919. Delivered new to Pearson, Contractor, London, then to Askern Coal and Iron, Doncaster, 12/33. To NCB, scrapped on site 8/69. Rectangular cast brass face restored, measures 36.75in x 6.25in.

LNER signal box board CHETTISHAM from the former Great Eastern Railway box between Ely and March. Wood with cast iron letters, in nicely restored condition, measures 69in x 12in.

Worksplate BEYER PEACOCK (HYMEK) LTD MANCHESTER SERIAL No 7981 1963. Ex British Railways diesel hydraulic Class 35 D7077. Allocated new to 82A Bristol Bath Road and withdrawn from there July 1972. Scrapped at Swindon Works Oct 1972. Rectangular cast aluminium, face restored. Measures 12.75in x 5.125in

Allocated to Ardsley, Bradford, Low Moor, Middlesborough, Thornaby and 56A Wakefield from where it was withdrawn in September 19 63 and scrapped at Darlington Works, North Road. In face restored condition.

Flamecut cabside panel 45048 ex British Railways Diesel locomotive built at Crewe in 1960, originally numbered D70, and named The Royal Marines. In good condition complete with data panel and all angle removed. Some light restoration to the left hand corner. Measures 34.5in x 21in.

Totem BR(S) FF GILLINGHAM. From the former South Eastern & Chatham Railway station between Chatham and Sittingbourne. In very good condition with a few minor chips to the flange. This is the light green version.

Southern Railway enamel target station sign SUNNINGDALE from the former London & South Western Railway station between Staines and Reading. In good condition with slight loss of shine and some face chipping. Measures 36in long.

British Railways Western Region camping coach emblem GREAT WESTERN RAILWAY PLYMOUTH. As fitted to the outside of the camping coaches that were used at Dawlish Warren. Cast aluminium in as removed condition measures 25in x 15in.

Oval engraved brass, face lightly cleaned, rear stamped 176. Measures 12.25in x 7.5in.

Worksplate BRUSH TRACTION ENGLAND No 370 1962 ex British Railways diesel Class 31 originally numbered D5834 then 31301 in 1974. Allocated new to 41A Tinsley, withdrawn September 1999 and scrapped. Oval cast aluminium, face restored. Measures 9.5in x 5.75in. (Note the Colin Marsden book is incorrect in attributing this plate to D5835/31302and there is photographic evidence that 31302 carried works number 371)

Totem BR(SC) FF TAYNUILT from the former Caledonian Railway station between Callander and Oban. In very good displayable condition with some areas of expertly executed restoration.

Smokebox numberplate 30483 ex LSWR Urie H15 built at Eastleigh in 1914 and numbered SR 483 and later BR 30483. Allocated to 70A Nine Elms for most of its working life and withdrawn from there in June 1957 and scrapped later the same year at Eastleigh Works. Lightly face restored.

BR(M) FF enamel direction sign LIVERPOOL EXCHANGE STATION with British Railways totem and left facing arrow, from the former Lancashire & Yorkshire and Midland Joint Terminus Railway station. In very good condition with minor edge chipping. Measu res 28in x 13in.

Worksplate THE ENGLISH ELECTRIC CO LTD VULCAN WORKS NEWTON-LE-WILLOWS ENGLAND No 3592/E362 1965 ex British Railways electric class 73 originally numbered E6030 and 73123 in 1974 and lastly 73206 in 1988, named Gatwick Express, Lisa and Janice. Rectan gular chromed brass in as removed condition. Measures 10.25in x 4.5in.

Nameplate and badge HYDRA ex Fragonset Diesel Class 31 31468 built in 1962 by Brush and originally numbered D5855, 31321 in 1974, 31468 in 1985, 31568 in 1990 and 31468 in 1993. Nameplate measures 29in x 7.5in and badge 12in diameter. Both are in as removed condition. Definitely one for the Captain America Marvel fans.

Totem BR(S) FF FRATTON from the former London and South Western and London Brighton and South Coast Railway Joint station between Havant and Portsmouth. In very good condition with one small face chip repair between the T&O.

Worksplate SIR W. G. ARMSTRONG WHITWORTH & CO (ENGINEERS) LTD SCOTSWOOD WORKS NEWCASTLE-ON-TYNE No 1197 1933 ex LMS Stanier 4-6-0 Class 5 numbered 5156 and later BR 45156 and named Ayrshire Yeomanry. Allocated to Carlisle Kingmoor, St Rollox, New ton Heath, Bolton, Warrington, Edge Hill. Patricroft and 10F Rose Grove from where it was withdrawn in August 1968 and scrapped at T.W. Ward, Beighton, Sheffield. Rectangular cast brass, lightly cleaned, measures 8.25in x 5in. A special plate from one of only five named Black Five's and the last named one in service.

LMS LNWR pattern 3 aspect handlamp stamped LMSR C&W DEPT WOLVERTON on the reducing cone and LMSR A37641 on the side, steel plated LMS CANAL DEPT STOKE ON TRENT. Complete with LMS reservoir and burner and all glasses (blue cracked).

All ocated new to D16 Nottingham Division and withdrawn from Toton in October 1990 and scrapped at M C Metals, Glasgow Mar 1995. Rectangular chromed brass, face cleaned. Measures 10.25in x 4.625in.

Smokebox numberplate 61141 ex LNER Thompson B1 4-6-0 built by The Vulcan Foundry in 1947. Allocated to Gorton, Sheffield, Woodford Halse, Leicester and 38A Colwick from where it was withdrawn in July 1965 and scrapped at Cohens (Ickles). In lightly f ace restored condition.

GWR cast iron cabside numberplate 3798 ex Collett 0-6-0PT built at Swindon in 1938. Allocated to Ebbw Junction, Neath (Court Sart), Hereford and 82E Bristol Barrow Road from where it was withdrawn in October 1964 and scrapped at Casmore's Newport. In original condition as stored since 1965.

Annesley, Mexborough, Grantham and 36E Retford Thrumpton from where it wa s withdrawn in September 1963 and scrapped at Rigleys Bulwell Forest. Oval engraved brass, face polished and rear stamped 3987, measures 13.25in x 7.75in.
