Worksplate 63592 1912. Ex Great Central Railway Robinson O1 originally numbered GCR 1245, LNER 6245, 3592 and BR 63592. Allocated to Sheffield Neepsend, Retford Thrumpton, loaned to the Western Region, Woodford Halse, Annesley, Gorton, Neasden, Colwi ck and 41H Staveley from where it was withdrawn in July 1963 and scrapped at Doncaster works. Oval cast iron measures 9in x 5in, in face restored condition.
GWR brass signal lever leads x4; 28 COLLIERY SIDING STARTG, 6in long; 16 6TH ROAD HOME, 6.75in long; 26 UP MAIN TO GOODS RUNNING LOOP HOME, 7.5in long; 21 DISC FOR No22, 13in long. All in ex railway condition.
Worksplate BUILT HORWICH 1958 ex British Railways Diesel 08 0-6-0 in the number range D3593-D3611. Oval cast iron in as removed condition, measures 10.25in x 6in.

Smokebox numberplate 6364 ex GWR Churchward 2-6-0 built at Swindon in 1925. Allocated to Banbury, Tyseley, St Philips Marsh, Kidderminster, Leamington and 84F Stourbridge Junction from where it was withdrawn in November 1964 and scrapped at Cashmores , Great Bridge. In lightly cleaned condition.
Cabside Numberplate 51, ex Manchester Ship Canal 0-6-0T Locomotive built by Hudswell Clarke under works number 799 of 1907. Named New Zealand and utilised on the MSC until withdrawal and scrapping in May 1966. Rectangular cast brass face restored, me asures 15.75in x 9.25in. Complete with a copy of the original purchase receipt dated April 1983. Note this is not the same side we sold back in 2007.

Oval cast iron with brass renumbering strip, face restored, measures 9in x 5in.
LNER/GNR mahogany cased single line repeater brass plated DOWN LINE. In very good Condition, stands 9in tall.
Worksplate BRUSH TRACTION LOCOMOTIVE No. 1101 1995 ex British Railways electric Class 92 92045. After numerous tests it was taken into service at Crewe ETD December 1995 and named Chaucer. Stored at Brush, Loughborough April 2001 for nearly twenty ye ars becoming a parts donor until moving recently for further storage to Worksop. Rectangular engraved aluminium in basically as removed condition with some touching up to the screw holes. Measures 9.75in x 5.75in.
Great Western Railway cast iron luggage rack supports. In nicely restored condition with GWR cast in script on both supports. Measure 12in deep and are ready to use.

Nameplate SHOVELL ex LMS Stanier Jubilee 4-6-0 built at Crewe in 1935 and numbered LMS 5651 and BR 45651. Allocated to Patricroft, Preston, Holbeck, Bristol Barrow Road and 89A Shrewsbury from where it was withdrawn from in November 1962 and scrapped at Crewe works. Face restored, rear with one dot indicating this is the left hand side plate, complete with original British Railways receipt. The first time either plate has appeared at auction.

Allocated new to Canklow where it stayed until 1962 when transferred to 41E Stavely Barrow Hill and withdrawn fr om there in April 1964 and scrapped at Crewe works. Circular cast brass face lightly cleaned, measures 7.75in diameter.

Named Hartlepool Pipe Mill from Dec 1987 to Jun 1992. Sold to DRS in 2002. Stored in 2019 and moved to Loram in Derby. Moved by road to the Great Central Railway in May 2022. Rectangular chromed brass measuring 10.125in x 4.5in. In as removed condition.

Oval cast brass face lightly cleaned measures 16.75in x 11.75in.
London underground stock enamel destination boards x 2, PICCADILLY LINE and NORTHERN LINE. Both are in very good condition with some edge chipping and are complete with brass ends. Measures 24in x 4in.
LNER cast iron seat back BANKHEAD from the former Caledonian Railway station between Carstairs and Dolphinton. In ex station condition with traces of light blue paint. Measures 27.75in x 4.25in.
Enamel doorplate POST OFFICE RAILWAY. Measures 18in x 2.75in and is in excellent condition with minor edge chipping. The line ran from Paddington Head District Sorting Office in the West to the Eastern Head District Sorting Office at Whitechapel in t he East, a distance of 6.5 miles. A rare and desirable sign.

Both were inherited from a family member who worked at Cadburys Bourneville where they were us ed on their steam locomotive fleet. Both in very good original condition. Stand 16.5in tall.

Named at York station in 1995 by driver Collyn Robert s and removed on withdrawal in 2004. Scrapped at EMR Kingsbury in 2008. Rectangular cast aluminium in as removed condition measuring 65in x 10in. Complete with original DB authenticity certificate.
