Worksplate NORTH BRITISH LOCOMOTIVE COMPANY LTD GLASGOW No 26855 1951 ex Thompson B1 4-6-0 numbered 61396. Allocated new to Glasgow Eastfield the Corkerhill, Ayr and 64A St Margarets from where it was withdrawn in September 1965 and scrapped at Ship breaking Industries Ltd., Faslane. Diamond shaped cast brass in basically as removed condition. Measures 13.75in x 5.5in.

Great Western Railway 1947 double line mahogany cased block instrument, complete with both flaps. In ex railway condition and stands 16in tall.
Cab plate HAWKER SIDDELEY BRUSH ELECTRICAL MACHINES ex British Railways Class 60 60083 which was built at Brush in 1992 and was named Shining Tor and Mountsorrel. Rectangular stainless steel measures 4.75in x 3in. In as removed condition with 60083 m arked on the back.

Smokebox numberplate 41100 ex LMS Fowler Compound 4-4-0 built by the North British Locomotive Company, Glasgow in 1925. Allocated to Accrington, Goole, Agecroft, Wigan Central, Spital Bridge, Blackpool Central and 20A Holbeck from where it was withdr awn in March 1959 and scrapped at Crewe works. Lightly face restored.

GWR cast iron cabside numberplate 6408 ex Collett 0-6-0PT built at Swindon in 1932. Allocated to Barry, Westbury, Laira, Ebbw Junction and 86F Aberbeeg from where it was withdrawn in February 1962 and scrapped at Swindon Works. In nicely restored con dition.
Worksplate MANNING WARDLE & CO LEEDS 1876 No 623 ex 0-4-0 ST supplied to the Bilbao Iron Ore Company Spain and numbered 11. Oval engraved brass, face lightly cleaned, measures 11in x 6.25in.
Great Western Railway lamp tablet NEWTON ABBOT from the famous station on the line between Exeter and Torquay. Engraved China glass in original cast iron frame. Measures 18in x 3.75in and is in excellent condition.
Nameplate THE NORTH YORKSHIRE MOORS RAILWAY ex British Railways Class 31 Diesel numbered 31428 built by Brush in 1960 as works number 235 and originally numbered D5635. Named in 1988 at Grosmont Station by David Mitchell MP Secretary of State for Tra nsport. Nameplates removed in March 1992. Rectangular cast aluminium, face lightly restored, measures 73in x 17.75in.

It was named Tinsley Traction Depot Quality Approved Feb 1990 until Mar 1999. Later operated by Fragonset and Nemesis Rail it was exported to Hungary Oct 2015 and operated by Continental Railway Solution. Oval cast aluminium lightly face restored measures 9.325in x 5.75in.
