Worksplate LA MAQUINISTA TERRESTRE Y MARITIMA BARCELONA No 232 1926. Ex 4-8-4T loco built for the Madrid, Zaragoza and Alicante Railway and numbered 1638 and after 1941 the Spanish National Railways 242-0268. Withdrawn circa 1967 and scrapped. Oval c ast brass face restored, measures 12.25in x 8in.
Smokebox numberplate 6159 ex GWR Collett 2-6-2 T built at Swindon in 1933. Allocated to Old Oak Common, Southall and 81E Didcot from where it was withdrawn in July 1965 and scrapped at Steel Supply Co., Jersey Marine. Lightly face restored.

GWR brass cabside numberplate 7786 ex GWR Collett 0-6-0 PT built by Armstrong Whitworth as works number 1142 in 1930. Allocated to 87A Neath Court Sart from where it was withdrawn in May 1962 and scrapped at Cashmores Newport. Face restored rear orig inal condition.
London Underground enamel target/bullseye sign BAKER STREET measuring 33in x 28in. In excellent condition in original bronze frame. A London location famous for Sherlock Holmes and of course the song by Gerry Rafferty.
Midland Railway etched frosted plate glass compartment coach lavatory window with Midland Wyvern in Garter coat Of Arms and ornate border in maroon. In very good condition and definitely a rare survivor. Measures 30.5in x 16.5in.

Scrapped in July 1966 by R.S. Maunder of Southampton. Oval cast brass lightly face cleaned measures 16.75in x 11.75in

Worksplate BUILT BY THE BIRMINGHAM RAILWAY CARRIAGE & WAGON CO LTD SMETHWICK ENGLAND 1960 SERIAL No DEL 114 ex British Railways Diesel Class 33 originally numbered D6522 becoming 33014 Feb 1974. Allocated new to 73C Hither Green Sep 1960. It was badly damaged in a shunting accident at Theale in Jan 1986 and moved to Eastleigh where it was withdrawn in Feb 1986 and cut up by BR staff in Sep 1986. Rectangular chromed brass face cleaned measures 8in x 5.75in.
Great Western Railway pre grouping 3 Aspect Copper Top hand lamp stamped on the side and revolving drum GWR SWINDON Z and brass plated 16318. Complete with original GWR copper reservoir, BR WR burner and GWR etched front lens. In nicely restored cond ition, red glass missing.

Cab plate HAWKER SIDDELEY BRUSH TRACTION ex British Railways Class 92 92014. Built in 1994 and named Emile Zola it was painted in the Caledonian Sleeper livery. Rectangular stainless steel measures 4.75in x 3in. In as removed condition.
Smokebox numberplate 6327 ex GWR Churchward 2-6-0 built at Swindon in 1921. Allocated to Banbury, Stourbridge Junction, Tyseley, St Philips Marsh, Bristol Bath Road, Swindon and 83B Taunton from where it was withdrawn in September 1963 and scrapped at Cohens Morriston. Lightly face restored.

Locomotive Nameplate SAINT CHAMOND ex French S.N.C.F 6500 Maurienne class No 6535, to traffic 11th December 1971 and named 1st December 1973, withdrawn 13th December 2004 and scrapped. This was one of the second batch of 6500 locos and were also equi pped with third rail pickups for use on the line between Chambery and Modane. Cast aluminium in as removed condition, measures 19.5in x 24.25in.

Flamecut cabside panel 45015 ex British Railways Diesel locomotive built at Derby in 1961 and originally numbered D14, allocated new to 17A Derby and withdrawn from service in March 1986 and stored at Toton, cut up in November 2022 and some parts sol d to other loco groups. In as cut condition, measures 33in x 20.5in. Sold on behalf of the Shackerstone Railway society.

Allocated to New England, Doncaster, Colwick, Langwith Junction and 3 4F Grantham from where it was withdrawn in September 1963 and scrapped at Rigleys (Bulwell Forest). In face restored condition.

Oval cast brass face restored, measures 9in x 5in.

Flamecut number panel 6569 ex British Railways Diesel locomotive built by BR CW in 1961 as wks no Del 173 and numbered D6569 and 33051 in 1973. Named Shakespeare Cliff and Isle of Grain TML Terminal. Allocated to 73C Hither Green and withdrawn in Aug ust 1998 from Stewarts Lane and scrapped. In good as cut condition, measures 37in x 18in. The locomotive ran with this number on the final EWS Railtour The Six Five Special on Saturday 13th September 1997.
