Smokebox numberplate 42102 ex LMS Fairburn 4P 2-6-4T built at Brighton in 1950. Allocated to Tunbridge Wells West, Exmouth Junction, Three Bridges, Watford, Willesden and 8F Springs Branch from where it was withdrawn in December 1966 and scrapped at Cashmore's Newport. Lightly face restored with BR(S) Eastleigh triangle cast in the back.
LNER cast iron seat back SALTBURN from the former North Eastern Railway station on the branch line from Marske. Face restored with a neat central weld repair. Measures 28in x 4.25in.

North Eastern Railway signal box board SELBY from the box on the line between York and Doncaster, Wood with cast iron letters. In good original condition with some beading missing, measures 55in x 10.5in.
Worksplate ROBERT STEPHENSON & HAWTHORNS LTD NEWCASTLE WORKS 7746 1954 ex 0-6-0DM, new to British Electricity Authority at Bromborough Power Station and named Bromborough No 2 then to Agecroft power station in 1961, Whitebirk power station Blackb urn, and Carrington power station Partington in 1967,where it retained its name and was withdrawn around 1976. Oval cast brass face restored measures 13in x 8.5in.
LNER brass locomotive whistle as used on LNER K3, V1 and V3 Tank engines. These are sometimes referred to as long steam type due to the long stem between the mounting flange and whistle valve. Complete and lightly cleaned, measures 10in long and 9in tall.

Withdrawn from Neville Hill Feb 1992 and sold to RFS Industries and numbered RFS023 and later RFS 005. Sold to RT Railto urs Oct 1998. Named Catherine at Bletchley Depot open day in Aug 1999 whilst on hire to Silverlink. Nameplates removed Dec 2007 and then reapplied Jun 2008. Currently owned by RMS Locotec and on hire to PD Ports, Teesport. Rectangular cast aluminium in as removed condition, measures 29.75in 7.5in.

London Underground miniature type enamel target/bullseye sign ALDGATE EAST measuring 15in x 10.5in. In very good condition with one small face chip and complete with original 2 piece bronze frame which has a minor crack on the inner bottom screw hole . These desirable small signs were introduced in 1939 and were used on the deep level stations constructed in the 1935-40 programme and were mounted on facing walls , pillars and tunnel mouths.

Allocated new to Cardiff East Dock then Worcester and Didcot, withdrawn from 81A Old Oak Common in September 1963 and scrapped a t Swindon Works. Ex 4-wheeled DH 230Hp Pacer Class 143, 2-car sets numbered 143601 to 143625, AB numbers 669 to 718/1985 to 1986 If plated in sequence this is ex Set 143615, . The initials s tand for Light Weight Diesel Multiple Unit. Bodies were built by Walter Alexander of Falkirk and the Underframes by AB. Cast aluminium in as removed condition measures 10in x 8in.

Lightly face restored.

Nameplate BEN NEVIS ex British Railways Class 60 Diesel 60029 built by Brush Traction Loughborough as works number 931 in 1990. Nameplates were applied when built and removed in August 1997 and the locomotive renamed Clitheroe Castle. Rectangular cas t aluminium in as removed condition measures 39.5in x 9.75in. One of the best mountain names in the class. Note this is the other side to the one we sold in November 2021.

Allocated to Chester, Banbury, Oxley, Cardiff, Old Oak Common, Reading, Didcot and 81F Oxford from where it was withdrawn in July 1965 and scrapped at Birds, Long Marston. Face restored.

Allocated to Old Oak Common, Cardiff Canton, Bristol Bath Road and Laira from where it was withdrawn in February 19 76 and scrapped. Oval cast aluminium, in basically as removed condition with 40 scratched on the front., measuring 10.5in x 6in.

Allocated to Longsight, Campden, Edge Hill, Willesden, Bushbury, Llandudno Junction, Holyhead, Anneseley and 16D Nottingham from where it was withdrawn in September 1963 and scrapped at Slag Reduction Co. Ltd., Ickles, Rotherham. Lightly face restored with a weld to one end.
GWR 19th Century Locomotive brass Splasher Coat of arms, as fitted to the Dean Singles, it measures 11.5 inch diameter and is in ex loco condition. A wonderful and historic survivor not to be confused with the later Swindon re cast brass plates that were sold in the 1980's, the originals have a hollow back and the paintwork is to a much higher standard.
