British Railways Diesel Class 33 indicator box door ex 33024 complete with resin plate BUILT BY THE BIRMINGHAM RAILWAY CARRIAGE & WAGON CO LTD SMETHWICK ENGLAND 1960 SERIAL No DEL 9? (chiselled off) and CAB 2 plate. Door is manufactured from fibr eglass and in as removed condition measuring 19.5in x 14in. We assume that this was re used from a previous loco hence the number being erased.
Totem BR(W) HF CARDIFF QUEEN STREET from the former Taff Vale and later Great Western Railway station between Cardiff Docks and Llandaff. In excellent ex station condition.
Worksplate NORTH BRITISH LOCOMOTIVE COY LTD HYDE PARK WORKS GLASGOW No 24618 1940 ex LMS/WD Stanier 8F 2-8-0 built for the Ministry of Supply and numbered 318 and 70318 sent to Persia and purchased by BR in 1949 and numbered 48250. Allocated to Besco t, Northwich, Toton, Speke Junction and 9J Agecroft from where it was withdrawn in April 1966 and scrapped at Casmore's Great Bridge. Circular cast brass face restored, measures 7.75in diameter.
GWR/BR-W Tyers No9 single line aluminium key token DOVEY JC - ABERDOVEY, configuration B. In ex railway condition.
North Eastern Railway tail lamp brass plated NER and EXRS. SKINNINGROVE NER No2. Complete with original reservoir brass plated NER. In excellent original condition stands 15in tall. Skinningrove was between Middlesborough and Whitby.
Southern Railway enamel direction sign. SOUTHERN ELECTRIC ROCHESTER with SR electric flash and left facing arrow. In good condition with some edge and small face restoration. Measures 53in x 11.75in.
Nameplate PORT OF LIVERPOOL with separate badge ex British Railways Diesel locomotive Class 47 built at Crewe Works as D1988 in 1966 later re numbered to 47266. Named at Royal Seaforth Dock, Liverpool Euro Terminal in December 1993, nameplates remov ed in August 2000. Both plates are rectangular cast aluminium in as removed condition, Nameplate measures 59.25in x 9.75in and badge 12.5in x 6.75in.
Totem BR(M) FF STOKE MANDEVILLE from the former Metropolitan and Great Central Railway station between Rickmansworth and Aylesbury. In good condition with slight loss of shine mainly at the top.
GWR Cabside numberplate 6 ex Weston Clevedon & Portishead Railway Loco number 4 Stroudley Terrier 0-6-0T Built in 1875 for the London Brighton & South Coast Railway as No 53 and named Ashtead, purchased by the WC&P in 1937 and withdrawn i n 1940 after hauling the very last train on 18 May 1940, after closure it saw service with the GWR and was numbered 6 and painted in GWR livery. It was allocated to St Philip’s Marsh, for shunting and harbour duties and was used in 1941 to shunt at Portishead power station and the US Army depot at Wapley Common and in 1943 was used to lift rails from the WC&PR and was eventually scrapped in 1948. In original condition and was purchased by the vendor from British railways collectors corner in 1970.
London Underground enamel station frieze sign BAKERLOO LINE. In very good condition with minor corner chipping, measures 20in x 9in.
Worksplate NEILSON & Co GLASGOW 1881 No 2752 ex LSWR Adams 395 Class 0-6-0 numbered LSWR 400, SR 3400 and BR 30572. Allocated to 70B Feltham from where it was withdrawn in January 1957 and scrapped at Ashford Works. Oval shaped cast brass face re stored measures 10.25in x 6in. A rare plate from the first batch of these locomotives which were the first main line goods engine designed for the LSWR by Adams.
Totem BR(M) FF UTTOXETER from the former North Staffordshire Railway station between Derby and Stoke. In good condition with loss of shine in some places.
Smokebox numberplate 47303 ex LMS Fowler 3F 0-6-0T built by the Hunslet Engineering Co. Ltd. in 1925. Allocated to Bromsgrove, Newton Heath and 27A Bank Hall from where it was withdrawn in September 1960 and scrapped. Whilst at Bromsgrove it was used as a banker on the Lickey Incline. Lightly face restored.

Great Western Railway signalbox cast iron S & T plates as used on the outside of some GWR signal boxes. S measures 10.75in diameter and T 9in x 9in. Both in very good condition.

Allocated to Cardiff Canton and 86H Aberbeeg from where its was withdrawn in February 1962 and scrapped at Swindon Works. Oval cast brass in lightly cleaned condition measuring 13in x 8.5in.
Pullman Type N brass table lamp stamped on the side of the base ORION. From a Kitchen car built in 1951 by the Birmingham Carriage and Wagon Company Smethwick and used on the Southern Region Festival of Britain Golden Arrow service set and was notabl e for being used by Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on 14th October 1956, during a visit to the Medway Towns. Now preserved it resides at Pecorama Seaton Devon. In excellent condition, complete with original Pink celluoid shade (undamaged) and original 2 pin 24v cable and plug stands 21in tall. * Note as this operates at 24v under no circumstances should it be used on a 240v home supply.*

Allocated to 5A Crewe North and withdrawn from Carli sle Kingmoor in December 1980. Scrapped the following year at BREL Swindon. Rectangular chromed brass in very good condition measuring 10in x 4.25in. The first of only 20 Class 40 locomotives manufactured by this builder.

Diamond shaped cast brass in lightly cleaned condition. Measures 13.75in x 5.5in.
Smokebox numberplate 48009 ex LMS Stanier 8F 2-8-0 built at Crewe in 1935. Allocated to Toton and 16C Kirkby In Ashfield from where it was withdrawn in December 1962 and scrapped. Face restored and unusually a Derby casting.
Great Northern Railway single line mahogany cased Pegging Block Instrument complete with front handle and traffolite plate TO MABLETHORPE JC. In very good ex railway condition stands 18in tall.
Nameplate LEEWARD ISLANDS ex LMS Stanier Jubilee 4-6-0 built at Crewe in 1934 and numbered LMS 5614 and BR 45614. Allocated to Kentish Town, Newton Heath, Burton and 17A Derby from where it was withdrawn in January 1964 and scrapped at Derby works. I n as removed condition as purchased by the vendor from Crewe in the early 1960's. Rear stamped with two dots indicating this is the right hand side plate. This is the best original condition Jubilee nameplate we have ever seen.

Allocated to Norwood Junction, Horsham and 71D Fratton from where it wa s withdrawn in January 1952 as the last of the class still in service, scrapped at Ashford Works. Oval cast brass, face restored rear original complete with both mounting studs. Measures 13.5in x 7.5in.

Worksplate THE ENGLISH ELECTRIC COMPANY LTD LONDON THE VULCAN FOUNDRY LTD LOCOMOTIVE WORKS ENGLAND No 2721/D463 1959. Ex British Railways Class 40 Diesel numbered D246 and 40046 in 1974. Allocated to 52A Gateshead and withdrawn from Lonsight in Febr uary 1986 and used by the military at Moreton On Lugg Hereford for the SAS to practice entry scenarios. The locomotive was scrapped at Vic Berry's in 1987. Rectangular chromed brass in good condition, with 40046 stamped in the back, measures 10in x 4.5in.

Kitson built these engines that carried brass worksplates in 1918 works numbers 5195-98 0-6-0 for the Furness Railway later LMS 12500-3, works numbers 5163-5168 which were metre gauge pacifics for India and 5174/5, which were 2 foot 6in gauge pacifics also for India. Oval engraved brass face lightly cleaned. Measures 10.25in x 6.25in.
Nameplate JEANNIE, ex Manchester Ship Canal 0-6-0T Locomotive built by Hudswell Clarke under works number 694 of 1904 and numbered 34 used on the MSC until withdrawal in 1958 and scrapping.
