Shedplate 2C Warwick Milverton 1950-November 1958, then Stourbridge Junction 1963-July 1966. The ex LNWR shed at Warwick had a small allocation of around 15 locos in the 1950s, and when the ex GWR shed at Stourbridge was absorbed into the LMR taking over this code, it maintained over 30 locos. In good original condition.
Shedplate 56B Ardsley October 1956 - October 1965. This former GNR shed was originally in the ER 37A and was then transferred to the NER. In late 1959 it had over 60 locos, and by 1965 it housed 45, comprising 4 A1s and 8 named B1's. Lightly face res tored.
Shedplate 56G Bradford Hammerton Street July 1956-December 1967. This ex GNR shed, formerly 37C, was transferred to the NER when it took on this code. It lost its steam allocation of 33 locos in 1958, becoming a DMU depot. As well as many units, a nu mber of Class 03 and 04 shunting locos carried this code. In July 1967 it became 55F and finally closed during 1985.
Shedplate 86B Newport Pill 1949-September 1963, then Newport Ebbw Junction September 1963-October 1965. This tiny ex ADR two road shed in the docklands area of Newport was home to about 60 locos in the 1950s. On closure the code was adopted by Ebbw J unction 86A. Having once been home to 150 locos in the 1950s, it now housed around 80 which included a handful of Halls and Granges. In as removed condition, with clear Swindon casting marks on the rear.
Shedplate 89A Oswestry 1948 to January 1961, then Shrewsbury January 1961 to September 1963. The former Cambrian Railway shed had an allocation of around 50 locos including 6 Manors during the 1950s. It was recoded 89D, then 6E and closed in January 1965. The ex GWR/LNWR Joint shed at Shrewsbury, formerly 84G, had an allocation of 100 locos including Counties, Castles, Manors and Halls when using this code. Recoded 6D, it closed to steam in September 1967. Face lightly restored this is a plate that has been altered at the shed by building up weld for the 89.
A pair of North Eastern Railway Sundae dishes both marked NER STATION HOTEL NEWCASTLE in Garter, one is a little more worn than the other. Both base marked Elkington plate and date stamped for 1921. Both measure 3.25in diameter and stand 4.25in tall.
BR(M) Carriage Boards x 3, BROAD STREET/EUSTON, NORTHAMPTON/BLETCHLEY and TRING/WATFORD. All are in very good original condition and are manufactured from aluminium and measure 32in x 3.25in.
British Railways enamel sign BEWARE TRAINS APPROACH FROM THE REAR measuring 11in x 6in. In excellent condition, ex Saltley MPD.
Tyers LNWR non-pegging Block Instrument brass plated DOWN LINE. Has the text Tyers Patent on lower face.
NER wire handle 3 aspect Handlamp. Inscribed on reducing cone NER Co and carrying a brass NER plate on the side, it is complete with NER reservoir and a BRE & NER burner. Good unrestored condition. Together with a GNR General Purpose Handlamp sta mped GNR on the front domed top. BR-E reservoir fitted with a BRE & NER burner. Left side glass cracked. (2 items)

Great Western Railway lamp tablet NEWTON ABBOT from the famous station on the line between Exeter and Torquay. Engraved China glass in original cast iron frame. Measures 18in x 3.75in and is in very good condition with a small crack at one end.
