BR(E) FF enamel doorplate STATION MANAGER measuring 18in x 6in. In excellent condition. Not common.

Worksplate BRUSH SULZER No. 592 1965 ex British Railways Class 47 originally numbered D1830 becoming 47349 Oct 1973. New to D16 Nottingham Division Mar 1965. Stored at Crewe Diesel Nov 2001-Nov 2002 until taken to Brush Traction, Loughborough for con version to Class 57 becoming 57603 in Dec 2003. Currently in service with Great Western Railway on the night sleeper service and named Tintagel Castle. Oval cast aluminium in as removed condition, measures 9.325in x 5.75in.

Totem BR(SC) HF STRANRAER TOWN from the former Portpatrick and Wigtownshire Joint Railway station between Glenluce and Portpatrick. In very good condition with slight loss of shine.

GWR hand engraved brass shelf plate TO RESOLVEN WEST BOX. In good condition with original black wax infill. Measures 4.75in x 1.5in. From one of the boxes on the Vale of Neath line.

Headboard INTERCITY SILVER SWALLOW as used on one of the mainline HST Diesel charters in the 1990's. Cast aluminium with mounting bracket, in as used condition measures 37.5in x 19.5in.

BR-W ground frame board CARNE POINT GF. From the former Great Western line between Fowey and Lostwithiel. Pressed aluminium in as removed condition measures 27in x 4in.

Totem BR(W) FF SOUTHALL from the former Great Western Railway station between Paddington and Slough and site of the famous steam shed. In excellent condition, this is the much rarer fully flanged version.

Southern Railway enamel target station sign HURSTBOURNE from the former London & South Western Railway station between Basingstoke and Andover Junction. In very good displayable condition with some well executed sympathetic restoration, mounted o n a back board. Measures 36in long. A rare target last at auction over 10 years ago.

Worksplate BRUSH SULZER No. 485 1963 ex British Railways Class 47 originally numbered D1757 becoming 47163 Feb 1974, 47610 Apr 1984, 47823 Apr 1989 and 47787 Nov 1994. Named SS Great Britain Oct 1992-Aug 1994, Victim Support Dec 1994-Mar 2002 and Win dsor Castle Apr 2002-Apr 2004. Sold to West Coast Railway Company Apr 2007 and Windsor Castle name reapplied Mar 2009. Currently stored out of use. Oval cast aluminium in as removed condition, measures 9.325in x 5.75in.

British Railways cast aluminium depot plaque for Toton depicting the Cooling towers, this is the smaller pattern ex Class 58 58042. Square cast aluminium measures 11in x 11in in as removed condition.

Totem BR(NE) FF GARFORTH from the former North Eastern Railway station between Leeds and York. In excellent condition and one of the few stations that had this design of totem with the orange flange.

Headboard THE VODAPHONE EXPRESS as used on one of the mainline Diesel charters in the 1990's. Cast aluminium with mounting bracket, in as used condition measures 32.5in x 15.5in.

Tenderplate GREAT WESTERN RAILWAY COMPANY SWINDON WORKS 1804 MAY 1911 3500 GALLONS from a standard Churchward tender that were used on amongst other locomotives Castles, Halls, Granges and Manors. Oval engraved brass measuring 11.25in x 8.25in. Face cleaned.

Great Western Railway enamel station Lamp Tablet MINEHEAD from the station at the end of the line from Norton Fitzwarren, now part of the West Somerset Railway. Flanged at the top, in very good condition with three small chip repairs at the top. Meas ures 22in x 5in.

GWR brass cabside numberplate 5371 ex Churchward 2-6-0 built at Swindon in 1919. Allocated to Llanelly, Swindon and 84F Stourbridge junction from where it was withdrawn in July 1958 and scrapped at Swindon works. Face restored with boiler and class s tampings in the rim, rear original.

LMS Tyers No9 single line bronze key token BRYNKIR - PENYGROES, configuration B. From the line between Menai Bridge and Afon Wen which closed in 1964. In ex railway condition.

Smokebox numberplate 84009 ex British Railways Riddles Standard Class 2 2-6-2T built at Crewe in 1953. Allocated to Royston, Skipton, Hull Dairycoates, Croes Newydd and 6G Llandudno Junction from where it was withdrawn in November 1965 and scrapped a t Cashmore's (Great Bridge). Lightly face restored.

London Underground enamel Target/Bullseye station sign KING'S CROSS ST. PANCRAS. Measures 26.5in x 26.5in and is in very good condition complete with original aluminium frame. Two famous London mainline stations.

Nameplate STANLEY HALL ex GWR Collett Hall Class 4-6-0 built at Swindon in 1933 as order number 281 and numbered 5938. Allocated to Old Oak Common, Carmarthen and 86A Ebbw Junction from where it was withdrawn in May 1963 and scrapped at Wolverhampton works. In nicely restored condition rear stamped LOT No 281 R 5938 indicating this is the right hand plate. The Hall was near Bridgnorth Shropshire. Note the other plate from this locomotive has had repairs to the bottom of the splasher.

Rectangular cast aluminium in as removed condition, measures 13.125in x 6.625in.

An early 3 aspect square fronted Handlamp with swinging top handle. Makers plate to body Stevens & Son Darlington Works Southwark Bridge Road. Same pattern as early LB&SCR handlamps. Complete with all glasses.

GWR signal lever lead 0 UP MAIN DISTANT 9 5 21 ex Old Hill Junction box. Measures 7in long. A rare plate as 0 was only used in some boxes where an additional lever was added at the beginning of the frame.

BR-W Brass cabside numberplate 7915 ex BR-W Hawksworth modified Hall Class 4-6-0 built at Swindon in 1950 as order number 368 and named MERE HALL. Allocated to Stafford Road, Oxley and 84E Tyseley from where it was withdrawn from in October 1965 and scrapped at Casmore's Great Bridge. Face restored a long time ago.

Nameplate AN TEALLACH ex British Railways Class 60 Diesel 60091 built by Brush Traction Loughborough as works number 993 in 1991. Nameplates were applied when built and removed in June 1997. Rectangular cast aluminium in as removed condition measures 45.5in x 10in. Named after a mountain in the North West Highlands of Scotland near Ulapool.

London Transport Underground enamel target/bullseye sign MILE END. This pre war one piece sign is in very good condition with original bronze frame. Measures 21in x 15.5in.

Worksplate GENERAL MOTORS CORPORATION MANUFACTURED AT LONDON, CANADA MODEL JT42 CWR SERIAL 998145-11 DATE 06/00 from Class 66 66516. Arrived at Newport Docks Aug 2000 and allocated to FD Crewe Diesel (Freightliner). Still in service with Freightliner . Rectangular stainless steel in as removed condition, measures 12in x 4in.
