Flamecut number panel 50032 ex British Railways diesel locomotive built by English Electric Company as works number 3802/D1173 in 1968 numbered D432 becoming 50032 in February 1974. New to D05 Stoke Division in July 1968, it was named COURAGEOUS in J uly 1978 and withdrawn from Laira in October 1990. Scrapped on site at Old Oak Common by staff of Coopers Metals Ltd, Cardiff Feb 1991. In as removed condition measures 51in x 21in.

Headboard THE LOCHABER as carried by J36 65243 Maude and Black 5 44767 on this 1984 Railtour to Scotlands Highlands and Islands. It included trips on the West Highland from Fort William to Mallaig and a journey to Oban. Circular cast aluminium 17.5in diameter complete with rear mounting bracket.

Worksplate BEYER PEACOCK GORTON LTD MANCHESTER POWER EQUIPMENT BY ASSOCIATED ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES LTD AND SULZER SERIAL No. 8069 1966 ex British Railways Class 25 originally numbered D7659 becoming 25309 May 1974 and 25909 Dec 1985. New to LMML Jul 1966 and withdrawn from Carlisle Kingmoor Sep 1986. Sold for preservation to Waterman Railways on the East Lancs Railway. Has moved to various preservation sites and is currently at the West Somerset Railway. Rectangular cast aluminium in as removed condition, measures 13.125in x 6.5in. Last of the Beyer Peacock built class 25s.

Smokebox numberplate 7216 ex GWR Churchward 2-8-0 T built at Swindon in 1930 as 5291. Rebuilt in 1934 to 2-8-2 T and renumbered 7216. Allocated to Cardiff Canton, Aberdare and 87B Duffryn Yard from where it was withdrawn in November 1963and scrapped at R.S. Hayes/Birds, Tremains Yard, Bridgend. Lightly face restored.

GWR machine engraved brass shelf plate SAMPFORD PEVERELL. In good condition with original black wax infill. Measures 4.75in x 1.5in. Probably from Tiverton Junction signal Box.

Allocated to Stourbridge Junction and 84E Tyseley from where it was withdrawn in November 1966 and scrapped at Cashmores Great Bridge. Lightly face restored and comes with a copy of the original Swindon receipt dated October 1965.

Nameplate PONTRILAS No 2 ex standard gauge 150HP 0-4-0 diesel mechanical locomotive built by John Fowler & Co. Ltd. Leeds in 1941 as works number 22940. New to the Royal Ordnance Factory, Pontrilas, Herefordshire. Later renumbered WD 8301. Sold i n 1969 to the British Steel Corporation for use at their Trostre Works, Llanelly, Carmarthenshire and scrapped by T.J. Davies of Llanelly around 1976. Rectangular cast brass face lightly restored measures 20.5in x 12.5in.

London & North Western Railway brass armband hand engraved OUTSIDE PORTER L & N.W.R. No 9 COVENTRY. In good condition measures 5.25in x 3.5in. Rare to see one of these from the Midlands district.

LNER enamel horseshoe Lamp Tablet WHITE COLNE from the former Colne Valley and Halstead Railway station between Earls Colne and Chappel closed in 1964. Double sided, both sides in very good condition with minor chipping. Measures 11in x 6.5in.

Nameplate NEPTUNE ex British Railways Diesel class 50 built by English Electric in 1968 as works number 3776/D1147 and numbered D406 renumbered 50006 in March 1974 and named without ceremony at Doncaster works in November 1979. Withdrawn in July 1987 from Laira and scrapped at Vic Berry Leicester. In as removed condition with plenty of brake dust and evidence and traces of BR Blue paint as purchased from British Railways Collectors Corner in 1991 and comes with original receipt, measures 39in x 10in.

New to 50A York Jan 1967, it was named Northumbria Jul 1986 to Mar 1991. Withdrawn from Crewe Diesel Jun 1998. Sold to Fragonset Railways Sep 2001 and then to West Coast Railway Company in 2007. Currently stored at Carnforth. Rectangular cast aluminium, face restored with a repair to bottom left corner measures 13in x 6.5in.
