Southern Railway enamel target station sign AYLESHAM HALT from the former South Eastern & Chatham Railway station between Adisham and Shepherds Well. In fair condition with some restoration and scratching. However this is the first time one has a ppeared at auction and possibly a sole survivor. Measures 32in long.

Totem BR(NE) FF BEL MARSKE from the former North Eastern Railway station between Redcar and Saltburn. In excellent condition.
Great Western Railway copper cased marker lamp, as used exclusively within the Seven Tunnel between Wales and England. A single lens either end indicates 1/4 mile from the bottom. Chimney stamped GWR and complete with Copper interior also stamped GWR and is in excellent condition. A rare item.
Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway mahogany cased double line Block Instrument, traffolite plated TURTON and stamped on the base L&YR. In very good original condition stands 18.5in tall. Ex Darwen Station box.
Smokebox numberplate 44511 ex LMS Fowler 4F 0-6-0 built at Crewe in 1928. Allocated to Rigby and 11B Barrow in Furness and withdrawn from there in March 1960 and scrapped at Central Wagon Co., Ince, Wigan. In original condition.
Flamecut number panel 50032 ex British Railways diesel locomotive built by English Electric Company as works number 3802/D1173 in 1968 numbered D432 becoming 50032 in February 1974. New to D05 Stoke Division in July 1968, it was named COURAGEOUS in J uly 1978 and withdrawn from Laira in October 1990. Scrapped on site at Old Oak Common by staff of Coopers Metals Ltd, Cardiff Feb 1991. In as removed condition measures 51in x 21in.

Rectangular cast aluminium in as removed condition, measures 67in x 10in.
Headboard THE LOCHABER as carried by J36 65243 Maude and Black 5 44767 on this 1984 Railtour to Scotlands Highlands and Islands. It included trips on the West Highland from Fort William to Mallaig and a journey to Oban. Circular cast aluminium 17.5in diameter complete with rear mounting bracket.

New to LMML Jul 1966 and withdrawn from Carlisle Kingmoor Sep 1986. Sold for preservation to Waterman Railways on the East Lancs Railway. Has moved to various preservation sites and is currently at the West Somerset Railway. Rectangular cast aluminium in as removed condition, measures 13.125in x 6.5in. Last of the Beyer Peacock built class 25s.

Allocated to Cardiff Canton, Aberdare and 87B Duffryn Yard from where it was withdrawn in November 1963and scrapped at R.S. Hayes/Birds, Tremains Yard, Bridgend. Lightly face restored.

Nameplate GIBRALTAR ex LMS Stanier Jubilee 4-6-0 built at Crewe in 1934 and numbered LMS 5608 and BR 45608. Allocated to 20A Leeds Holbeck from where it was withdrawn in September 1965 and scrapped by Clayton & Davie, Dunston-on-Tyne. In nice ori ginal condition. Rear stamped with two dots indicating this is the right hand side plate. This is the first time either plate from this locomotive has appeared at auction.

New to the Royal Ordnance Factory, Pontrilas, Herefordshire. Later renumbered WD 8301. Sold i n 1969 to the British Steel Corporation for use at their Trostre Works, Llanelly, Carmarthenshire and scrapped by T.J. Davies of Llanelly around 1976. Rectangular cast brass face lightly restored measures 20.5in x 12.5in.

Great Western Railway cast iron tenderplate GWR 2186 4000 GALLONS. Tender 2186 was a 4000 gallon ROD tender built in 1919 to lot A105. Apart from the GWR 3000 class, these tenders were also used with the Aberdare 2251 and 4300 classes. Oval cast iron face restored, measures 8.25in x 6in.
Southern Railway Bulleid electric locomotive front headlamp as fitted to the Merchant Navy and Light Pacifics, complete with an original front Left or Right bottom lamp mount / oil lamp bracket. In Very good condition and rare to find one with a lamp bracket.

Allocated to Yeovil Town, Exmouth Junction and 70C Guildford fro m where it was withdrawn in May 1965 and scrapped at Cashmore's Newport. Oval cast brass in as removed condition, measures 13.75in x 7.75in.

LNER enamel horseshoe Lamp Tablet WHITE COLNE from the former Colne Valley and Halstead Railway station between Earls Colne and Chappel closed in 1964. Double sided, both sides in very good condition with minor chipping. Measures 11in x 6.5in.
Nameplate NEPTUNE ex British Railways Diesel class 50 built by English Electric in 1968 as works number 3776/D1147 and numbered D406 renumbered 50006 in March 1974 and named without ceremony at Doncaster works in November 1979. Withdrawn in July 1987 from Laira and scrapped at Vic Berry Leicester. In as removed condition with plenty of brake dust and evidence and traces of BR Blue paint as purchased from British Railways Collectors Corner in 1991 and comes with original receipt, measures 39in x 10in.
