Smokebox numberplate 46518 ex LMS design Ivatt 2MT 2-6-0 built at Swindon in 1953. Allocated to Oswestry, Brecon, and 8C Speke Junction from where it was withdrawn in March 1966 and scrapped at Cashmores Great Bridge. Lightly face restored.
Isle Of Man Railway 125th Anniversary locomotive Headboard ISLE OF MAN RAILWAYS STEAM 125 1873-1998. Painted wood measures 25in x 20in.
Nameplate CIR MHOR ex British Railways Class 60 Diesel 60030 built by Brush Traction Loughborough as works number 932 in 1990. Nameplates were applied when built and removed in June 1997. Rectangular cast aluminium in as removed condition measures 33 .5in x 9.75in. Cir Mhor is a mountain on the Isle of Arran and is also known as the Matterhorn of Arran.

London Chatham & Dover Railway 3 aspect handlamp, brass plated H. Baynton Manufacturer Bingley Works Birmingham, body stamped LC&DR 1230 with correct pattern vessel stamped SE&CR No 4712 and LC&DR marked rape oil burner. Complete with all glasses.
BR(W) FF enamel direction sign STATION with British Railways totem and right facing arrow. In very good condition with a couple of small face chip repairs. Measures 21in x 10.5in.
Tenderplate 9326 fitted by Inverurie works to a Great North of Scotland Railway tender in 1955. At this time the fifteen remaining D40 4-4-0s were allocated tenders 9321 to 9335 and it would appear these were fitted when each loco was shopped. Oval c ast iron face restored , measures 9in x 5in Many were very rough castings but this is one of the better ones that has survived. From the collection of the late Willie Yeadon famous for writing the Yeadon's Registers.

Allocated to Low Moor, Newton Heath, Farnley Junction, Aintree, Rose Grove and 12A Carlisle Kingmoor from where it was withdrawn in April 1966 and scrapped at Motherwell Machinery & Scrap, Inslow Works, Wishaw. In restored condition.

Nameplate TOM ROLT ex Hunslet 0-6-0 DM built 1944 as works number 2697. Delivered new to McAlpine construction and later used at Steamtown Carnforth and numbered LMS 7049 and nameplates applied. Scrapped on site in 2004. The cast brass nameplate also comes with the original wooden pattern.
Great Western Railway brass cased circular track circuit banner repeater complete with ivorine plate DOWN MAIN BETWEEN POINTS 20 AND STARTING B37T. Complete with original steel mounting bracket and R E Thompson makers plate. In very good ex service c ondition with free moving banner, stands 10.5in tall.

Great Western Railway Wartime Gantry Lamp. Similar in appearance to a General Purpose Handlamp with curved top and fixed handle but, the front glass has a triangular cowl fitted to direct the light downwards as black-out lamps. The cowl is clearly st amped Gantry No 2 and both sides are stamped GWR in small lettering. Complete with an unmarked reservoir and a BR/WR burner
British Railways cast aluminium depot plaque for Derby depicting the Bison. Square cast aluminium measures 14in x 14in. These were fitted to the class 60 mock up at the Engineering and Development unit Derby (EDU) and comes with its original collecto rs corner receipt dated September 1996.
Smokebox numberplate 63579 ex Great Central Railway Robinson O1 2-8-0 built by The North British Locomotive Company Glasgow in 1912 and numbered GCR 1232, LNER 6232 and 3579. Allocated to Staveley, Sheffield Neepsend, March and 38B Annesley from wher e it was withdrawn in November 1962 and scrapped at Crewe Works. Lightly face restored.
British Railways class 40 Diesel locomotive Head code light covers x2 and a pair of Horn grilles also ex class 40. In very good condition.
Nameplate VICTORIA COLLIERY No1 Believed to be from a 0-4-0ST built in house at Newbattle Central workshops Lady Victoria Colliery near Edinburgh. Rectangular cast brass face restored, measures 49.5in 4.75in.
Totem BR(SC) FF KILBOWIE from the former North British Railway Station between Maryhill and Dumbarton. In very good ex station condition with loss of shine. A rare totem that has appeared at auction only twice before.
Presentation Nameplate BOUNDS GREEN ex British Railways Class 43 43057. Named at Bounds Green depot 10/3/84 by Frank Paterson, General Manager of Eastern Region. Replaced 08/91 by a reflective plate with silver background. Cast aluminium mounted on m ahogany measures 35in x 9in and comes with a framed picture of the naming ceremony.
Smokebox numberplate 5657 ex GWR Collett 0-6-2 T built at Swindon in 1926. Allocated to Neyland, Oxley, Llanelli, Ebbw Junction, Aberbeeg and 88E Abercynon from where it was withdrawn in July 1962 and scrapped at Cashmore's (Newport). Lightly face re stored.

Smokebox numberplate 562.04 ex Federated Malay States Railway Pacific 4-6-2 built by the North British Locomotive Company Glasgow in 1938, named Dungan. After withdrawal the locomotive was preserved and is now on display at the Bukit Mertajam Museum Kuala Lumpar as 564.25. Painted steel in as removed condition.
GWR enamel doorplate PORTERS ROOM. In good condition with some face chipping, measures 18in x 3.5in. These late Great Western enamel doorplates are quite rare and have a different font to the later BR(W) examples.

Nameplate MERCHANT ADVENTURER, stainless steel. It is believed that this plate was manufactured in error as the correct name for the HST power car 43125 was MERCHANT VENTURER. The plate shows signs of being carried so probably ran for a short while w ith these plates before the mistake was noticed. Measures 39.5in x 6in.
