Works plate 9X5 L&NER DONCASTER WORKS 1923 with renumbering strip 3487 and bolts and nuts, measures 9in x 5in. Smokebox numberplate 63932 face lightly restored and a 34F Grantham shedplate face restored. This locomotive was Allocated to New England, Colwick, Grantham and 36A Doncaster from where it was withdrawn from in September 1963 and scrapped at Rigleys (Bulwell Forest). Allocated to Gorton, Sheffield, Retford, Colwick, Annesley and 41J Langwith J unction from where it was withdrawn in July 1965 and scrapped at Drapers Hull. Oval cast iron in as removed condition with 63768 chalked on the back, measures 9in x 5in.

Worksplate LNER 9x5 LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY DARLINGTON WORKS 1937 1628 ex Gresley B17 4-6-0 numbered LNER 2828, 1628 and BR 61628 named Harewood House. Allocated to Stratford and 31A Cambridge from where it became the first of its class to be withdrawn in September 1952 and scrapped at Doncaster works. Oval cast brass in as removed condition measures 9in x 5in.

Worksplate LNER 9x5 LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY 8129 STRATFORD WORKS 1921. Ex GER Hill Y4 0-4-0T numbered GER 210, LNER 7210, 8129, BR 68129 and Departmental number 33. Allocated to Stratford from where it was withdrawn in December 1963 after assisting with the dismantling of the Stratford Old Works site, in which role it was the last steam locomotive to work on the GE section south of March, scrapped at Stratford works. Oval cast brass in as removed condition measures 9in x 5in.

Allocated to Colchester and 30A Stratford from where it was withdrawn in September 1962 and scrapped at Stratford works. Oval cast brass face restored measures 9in x 5in.

Worksplate R & W HAWTHORN LESLIE & CO LTD ENGINEERS NEWCASTLE ON TYNE ENGLAND 3428 1920. Ex Alexandra (Newport & South Wales) Docks & Railway 2-6-2T numbered 37 and GWR 1206. Allocated in later years at Kidderminster and 85C Hereford from where it was withdrawn in January 1951. Oval cast brass in as removed condition with 1206 stamped in the back. Measures 13in x 8.5in. Oval cast iron in as removed condition, measures 9in x 5in.

BR(M) poster heading, totem shaped BRITISH RAILWAYS. Measures 16.25in x 4in and is in very good condition with some edge restoration.

GWR enamel GREAT WESTERN RAILWAY NOTICE re TRESPASS. Vertical pattern in original frame measures 32.5in x 23.5in, makers Chromo Wolverhampton. In very good condition with four minor face chip repairs. 50% of the money raised from this item will go to wards the overhaul of 2857.

Southern Railway enamel sign re PROPPING UP WAGON DOORS etc WATERLOO STATION 1925. In very good condition with a couple of repairs around the top and bottom screw holes, measures 18in x 12in.

BR(NE) totem shaped enamel Poster Board Heading BRITISH RAILWAYS dark tangerine with black edge letters. In excellent condition with a minor face chip. Measures 24in x 6.7in which is the far less common larger size. Ex Darlington.

Great Western Railway lithographed tinplate MAP OF THE SYSTEM radiating out from Paddington. In very good condition mounted in its original oak frame. Measures 34in x 28in. Has a label on the rear from Advertising Department GWR Paddington Station to ?? Station.
