Allocations included Hornsey and 36A Doncaster from where it was withdrawn in November 1957 and scrapped at Doncaster works. Oval cast brass in as removed condition, measures 9.75in x 6.875in
A pair of worksplates and whistle. ANDREW BARCLAY SONS & CO CALEDONIA WORKS KILMARNOCK No 362 of 1942 ex 0-4-0 DM supplied new to Army and numbered 70047. It saw service in France as was part of the D Day landings, then to Barby near Rugby 1952, Suez 1952, Marchwood 1960 and named Mulberry, Liphook Hants in 1966, renumbered Army 201 in 1968 to Radway Green Alsager and renamed FROG, moved to Foxfield Railway by 1994 and currently privately owned at Long Marston with replacement plates. Worksplates are oval cast brass both lightly face cleaned and measure 16.75in x 11.75in, the organ pipe whistle as originally fitted to this loco measures 12.25in long. A chance to obtain a set from this historic locomotive.

Sawcut cabside 47321 ex British Railways Class 47 built by Brush in 1964 as works number 564. Originally D1802 re-numbered to 47321 Apr 1974. First allocation 41A Tinsley Jan 1965 and withdrawn from there Sep 1995. Stored at Tinsley until moved to Bo oth Roe, Rotherham and scrapped May 1998. In grey neatly trimmed aluminium, measures 28.5in x 8in.

British Railways Lion over Wheel cast aluminium Crest, ex Class 83 or 86 Electric loco. Measures approximately 18in x 18in. In basically as removed condition with traces of BR blue paint and the correct casting number and stampings in the rear and al so the number 32 which relates to either class 86 E3132 or Class 83 E3032. Rare to find one of these with a loco number.

Worksplate GREAT NORTHERN RAILWAY MAKERS DONCASTER No 1022 1903 ex Ivatt C12 4-4-2 T numbered GNR 1536, LNER 4536, 7386 and BR 67386. Allocated to Copley Hill, Ardsley, Stratford and 31C Kings Lynn from where it was withdrawn in April 1958 and scrapp ed at Doncaster Works. Oval cast brass in as removed condition, measures 10.75in x 6.5in. Note this was on of the Push and Pull fitted locomotives.

Stored at Bescot Mar 1998 and remained there until s old for preservation to the East Lancashire Railway Jan 2000. However, it was broken up for spares in Nov 2003 with the outer shell sold to HNRC in May 2008 and scrapped at EMR Kingsbury Aug 2008. Oval cast aluminium in as removed condition. Measures 9.625in x 5.75in.

Nameplate BAWTRY ex Hunslet 0-6-0ST built in 1932 as works number 1698. Used at Airedale and Wheldale collieries. Rectangular cast brass face restored with L stamped in the back indicating this is the left hand plate, measures 26.25in x 6.5in.

Oval cast brass, in face restored condition, measures 14in x 8in. This is the large Two star Pattern Avonside pattern rarely seen.

Stored at Crewe ETD Sep 1982 and withdrawn from Longsight Aug 1983. Moved to Willesden for spares Jul 1984 until taken back to Crewe Mar 1989 and stored again. Moved to Booth Roe Metals, Rotherham Jun 1993 and scrapped. Rectangular aluminium, front repainted, measures 18in x 5in. A rare plate with only 10 in the class.

Nameplate EARL OF DUDLEY ex GWR Collett Castle 4-6-0 5045 and GWR Collett Dukedog 4-4-0 3202. 5045 was originally named Bridgwater Castle when built at Swindon in 1936 but these were removed and replaced with the Earl plate from the Dukedog in Septem ber 1937. Allocated to Old Oak Common and 84A Wolverhampton Stafford Road from where it was withdrawn in September 1962. and scrapped at Cox & Danks, Oldbury. In original condition.
Worksplate GREAT CENTRAL RY BUILDERS 1919 GORTON WORKS MANCHESTER. Locomotives built that year were Robinson Class 04 & 05 2-8-0's and Butler Henderson. Oval cast brass face restored, measures 10.5in x 6.75in, both mounting holes have been profes sionally repaired. Note this is the far less common pattern with Manchester at the bottom.

A pair of Southern Railway carriage ventilation covers from the Bulleid Waterloo and City carriages, fully titled SOUTHERN REGION. Cast aluminium, in very good condition, each side measures 13in x 8in and mounted on wood for display. Note these were used in the trailing cars.

LMS Hotels silverplate Elliptical FRUIT BOWL marked with LMS HOTELS on the front. Base marked Gladwin Ltd Sheffield. In excellent condition measures 11.25in x 8.25in x 3.75in tall. An unusual shape and was part of the private collection of Ian Jack w ho was the last Chairman of British Transport Hotels.
