Smokebox numberplate 63882 ex Great Central Railway Robinson ROD O4 2-8-0 built by The North British Locomotive Company Glasgow in 1919 and numbered WD 2121 LNWR 2978, LNER 6287 and 3882. Allocated to Gorton, Heaton Mersey, Doncaster, Sheffield, Mexb orough and 41J Langwith Junction from where it was withdrawn in May 1965 and scrapped at Garnham, Harris and Elton (Chesterfield). Restored.

Worksplate THE HUNSLET ENGINE CO LEEDS No.1589 1929 from a 16inch cylinder 0-6-0 saddle tank named Newstead and worked at NCB Woolly Colliery until 1970 when it was purchased for preservation and currently under restoration at the Spa Valley Railway. Oval cast brass in as removed condition with damage to one bolt hole, measures 11in x 7.75in.
Nameplate BAHRAM from the LNER Peppercorn A2 4-6-2 built at Doncaster in 1948 numbered BR E531 and 60531. Allocated to Gateshead, Aberdeen Ferryhill and 50A York from where it was withdrawn in December 1962 and scrapped at Doncaster Works. Face resto red rear with other names of similar length plates cast in and also stamped RH indicating this is the right hand side plate.
Totem BR(SC) FF RUTHERGLEN from the former Caledonian Railway station between Motherwell and Glasgow Central. In very good condition with some mottling.
Cabplate BUILT BY THE BIRMINGHAM RAILWAY CARRIAGE & WAGON Co. LTD. SMETHWICK ENGLAND SERIAL No. DEL 74 1958. Ex British Railways Class 26 originally numbered D5329 becoming 26029 Jul 1974. New to 64B Haymarket Jun 1959 and withdrawn from Eastfiel d Oct 1988 with accident damage. Cut up at MC Metals, Glasgow Nov 1989. Cast brass in as removed condition measures 4in x 3in.
Great Western Railway locomotive head lamp embossed in the chimney G.W.R. and also stamped T.E. BLADON 1938. Complete with reservoir, GWR marked burner and drop in red shade. In nicely restored condition.
Great Western Railway brass cased circular track circuit banner repeater complete with traffolite plate DOWN MAIN IN REAR OF HOME. Complete with original steel mounting bracket. In very good condition, banner moves and pivots appear ok, stands 10.5in tall.
London Underground enamel Target/Bullseye station sign LANCASTER GATE. In good condition with some face chipping, measures 28in x 22in.

Oval cast brass face restored measures 9in x 5in.

BR(M) enamel station running in board COLESHILL from the former Midland Railway station between Birmingham and Tamworth. In good condition with some minor face chipping and still mounted on its original back board, measures a manageable 96in x 18in.
Worksplate BRITISH RAILWAYS CREWE BUILT 1961 POWER EQUIPMENT BY SULZER AND CROMPTON PARKINSON LTD ex British Railways diesel Class 45 originally numbered D133 then 45003 in 1973. Allocated new to 17A Derby December 1961 and withdrawn from Toton Janua ry 1985 and cut up at Vic Berry Leicester Rectangular. cast aluminium, in as removed condition with 45003 marked on the face twice. Measures 13in x 6.5in.
Smokebox numberplate 63941 ex LNER Gresley Robinson O2 2-8-0 built at Doncaster in 1924 and numbered LNER 3496 and 3941. Allocated to Doncaster, New England, Frodingham, Langwith Junction and 34F Grantham from where it was withdrawn in September 1963 and scrapped at Rigleys (Bulwell Forest). Lightly face restored.

Great Western Railway locomotive brass safety valve cover probably from a Pannier Tank. In very good condition measuring 26in diameter at the base x 22in tall.

Diamond shaped cast aluminium face restored, measures 14.25in x 6.25in.

Worksplate DUBS & CO GLASGOW LOCOMOTIVE WORKS No 3533 1897 ex LSWR Drummond 700 Class 0-6-0 numbered LSWR 710, SR 339 and BR 30339. Allocated to Nine Elms, Guildford and 70B Feltham from where it was withdrawn in May 1962 and scrapped at Ashford Works. Diamond shaped cast brass measures 13.5in x 5.5in. Face restored.
Nameplate WIGAN PIER. This plate was carried in preservation by Class 31 31270 when it was repainted as 31421 on one side only at Rowsley, Peak Rail for a diesel gala in September 2007. It still retained this guise until 2013 when it was named Athena in July of that year. Rectangular cast aluminium in as removed condition, measures 39.25in x 9.75in.
Nameplate MERSEY ex Great Western Railway Dean Duke 4-4-0 built at Swindon in 1899 rebuilt in 1907 as a Bulldog class 4-4-0. Originally numbered 3322 then 3314 in 1912. Allocated to Shrewsbury and Gloucester from where it was withdrawn in November 19 34 and scrapped. Nicely restored.

New to 51A Darlington Aug 1961 and withdrawn from t here Jul 1968. Sold to NCB Manvers Main, Wath in Jun 1969 as a spares loco and scrapped on site Feb 1978. Oval cast brass face lightly cleaned, measures 8in x 5in.

Totem BR(W) HF SHREWSBURY from the former Great Western and London and North Western Railway Joint station between Hereford and Crewe. In good condition with a few small face chip repairs.
North Staffordshire Railway cast iron Guards van stove. In 3 sections with NSR and the Staffordshire Knot cast on the two doors. Stands 29in tall and measures 12in x 12in at the base, has been nicely restored with proper heat resistant paint. A rare item from this small company.
Chinese cast iron makers plate DATONG LOCOMOTIVE PLANT April 1965 ex Chinese State Railways QJ 2-10-2 locomotive, possibly number 102. Measures 29.5in x 9in and is in as removed condition. Datong plates showing the month of build were only used for t he earlier built locomotives and are far less common than the later ones.
Worksplate BRUSH TRACTION ENGLAND No 193 1960. Ex British Railways Class 31 originally numbered D5593 becoming 31173 Feb 1974. New to 34B Hornsey Feb 1960 and withdrawn from Stratford Apr 1989 due to fire damage. Taken by road to MC Metals, Glasgow a nd cut up Dec 1991. Oval cast aluminium, face cleaned with traces of BR green paint on the edges, measures 9.675in x 5.75in.
Sawcut cabside 47373 ex British Railways Class 47 built by Brush in 1964 as works number 654. Originally D1892 re-numbered to 47373 in Feb 1974 and named British Petroleum in 1990. First allocation 41A Tinsley Jan 1965 and withdrawn in 2000 and scrap ped Feb 2005 at Booth Roe, Rotherham. In grey neatly trimmed aluminium complete with cast aluminium double arrow, measures 29in x 33in.
Tenderplate WATER CAPACITY 4725 GALLONS, from a BR Standard type BR1D tender No 981 built at Crewe and paired new with Britannia Class 7 4-6-2 No 70047 in June 1954 but transferred to No 70049 SOLWAY FIRTH in January 1955. Oval cast iron in restored condition, measures 10.5in x 6in.
Smokebox numberplate 90036 ex Riddles WD 2-8-0 built by the North British Locomotive Company Glasgow in 1944 as works number 25290 and numbered WD 7420, 77420, LNER 3036 and BR 90036. Allocated to Annesley, Staveley, Immingham and 40E Colwick from wh ere it was withdrawn in December 1965 and scrapped at Draper Hull. Numerals only restored.
Totem BR(W) FF PILNING HIGH LEVEL from the former Great Western railway station between Bristol and Severn Tunnel Junction. In very good condition with a slight loss of shine and one small face repair.

Tyers No6 brass and steel single line tablet SNETTISHAM - HEACHAM from the former Great Eastern Railway line in Norfolk from Kings Lynn to Hunstanton which closed in 1969. Machine engraved in very good condition.
Chinese cast iron makers plate DALIAN LOCOMOTIVE PLANT 1959 12 ex Chinese State Railways JS Class 2-8-2 locomotive built in December 1959. Measures 24in x 12in and is in as removed condition. This is one of the earlier plates with the star at the top which on later plates is replaced with the Ministry of Railways logo.
Worksplate THE VULCAN FOUNDRY LIMITED NEWTON-LE-WILLOWS LANCASHIRE No 4854 1939 ex New Zealand Government Railways RM Class Diesel Railcar that was used on the South Island and withdrawn in 1970. Oval cast brass, face restored, measuring 9in x 5.25in .
Midland Railway brass signal lever plates x 2 STARTING TO CHELTENHAM and MAIN LINE CROSSOVER. Both hand engraved brass with original wax infil and in as removed condition, measure 14.25in x 2.5in. Possibly ex Churchdown or Gloucester Eastgate.
BR(S) station direction sign BRITISH RAILWAYS MOTTINGHAM STATION from the former South Eastern and Chatham Railway station between Hither Green and Dartford. Double sided screen printed aluminium in good displayable condition with some restoration to both sides. Measures 28in x 13in.
Totem BR(W) FF AVONMOUTH DOCK from the former Great Western & Midland Joint railway station between Shirehampton and Pilning. In very good condition with one face chip repair.
Southern Railway Maunsell Locomotive Whistle complete with valve and lever. Probably ex Schools class 4-4-0 as the operating lever is arranged to pull towards the base flange fitting as opposed to away from the whistle, this indicates that this whist le was meant to be mounted horizontally rather than vertically and Schools class locomotives were mounted this way.

Worksplate HUDSWELL CLARKE & CO LTD RAILWAY FOUNDRY LEEDS No D938 1956 ex 0-6-0 DM numbered BR D2505. Allocated new to 6C Birkenhead and withdrawn from 12C Carlisle Upperby in August 1967 and scrapped at C F Booth Rotherham. Oval engraved brass f ace polished measures 12.75in x 8.125in. A rare plate from a class of 10.
DMU destination blind box with destinations to include; Cardiff, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Great Malvern, Evesham, Crewe, Derby etc. In original condition and fully working, measures 32in x 12in x 6in. From a Tyseley Class 115 unit.
