Great Western Railway enamel lamp tablet CHOLSEY & MOULSFORD from the station between Reading and Didcot. In good original condition with slight loss of shine complete with top mounting flange, measures 20in x 6in.
British Railways brass numberplate 61361 1948 ex LNER Thompson B1 4-6-0 built in 1948 by the North British Locomotive Company Glasgow. Due to a delay in delivery it was initially allocated to Stratford in 1950 and then Colchester, Parkeston Quay and 40E Colwick from where it was withdrawn in December 1965 and scrapped by Garnham, Harris and Elton (Chesterfield). Oval engraved brass face lightly cleaned measures 12.125in x 6.5in.
Worksplate BUILT BY BRITISH RAIL ENGINEERING LIMITED. DONCASTER WORKS. 1980. Ex British Railways Class 56 56074. New to Tinsley Mar 1980. Named Kellingley Colliery from Jun 1982 until Jul 2001. Worked in France Sep 2005 until it returned to the UK in Oct 2006. Stored at various locations until sold to EMR, Kingsbury Sep 2012. It was sold to Colas Rail Nov 2013 but still stored and finally moved to Ron Hull Jr, Rotherham Apr 2014 and scrapped. Rectangular cast aluminium, face restored.
Totem BR(W) FF BRISTOL STAPLETON ROAD from the former Great Western railway station a short way out from Bristol Temple Meads. In excellent condition with one small face repair.
British Railways cabside DOUBLE ARROW ex British railways Electric class 421 4 Cig. Measures 19in x 11.5in and is in as removed condition with plenty of BR Blue paint on the edges, the rear retains one of its original mounting studs.
GWR machine engraved brass shelf plate MILTON MAIN LINE. In very good condition with original black wax infill. Measures 4.75in x 1.5in. From one of the boxes near Didcot.
South African cabside numberplate SOUTH AFRICAN RAILWAYS 1973 15B ex 4-8-2 built the Montreal Locomotive Works Canada and delivered in 1922. Oval cast brass in face cleaned condition.
Rhodesian Railways cast brass RR steam locomotive smokebox plate. Ex 9B class 4-8-0 numbered 115 built by the North British Locomotive Company Glasgow in 1917 and withdrawn mid 1970's. Face lightly cleaned, measures 11in diameter and is stamped in th e back 115.
Cab plate HAWKER SIDDELEY BRUSH TRACTION ex British Railways Class 92 92024. Built in 1994 and named J.S. BACH and Marin Preda it was later exported to Croatia. Rectangular stainless steel measures 4.75in x 3in. In as removed condition.

A brass locomotive makers plate SIMPLEX Motor Rail and Tramcar Co Ltd, Bedford England. Decorated with two lions at each end of the Company name. Oval cast brass with traces of original chrome measures 11.75in x 8.25in. As fitted to one of their four wheeled petrol engine locomotives circa 1920's.
Smokebox numberplate 42360 ex LMS Fowler 4P 2-6-4 T built at Derby in 1929 and numbered LMS 2360. Allocated to Speke Junction, Stoke, Macclesfield, Longsight and 1A Willesden from where it was withdrawn in August 1961 and scrapped at Derby works. Lig htly face restored.
BR-W Tyers No9 single line aluminium key token MADELEY JCT - LIGHTMORE JCT, configuration B. In ex railway condition. NOTE the incorrect spelling of LIGHTMOOR.

From a rebuilt Rogers 2-4-0T numbered 5306 1895 and used at Fructuoso Rodriguez Mill in Cuba where it was numbered 1216. Circular cast brass face lightly restored, rear original. Measures 9.125in diameter. These Extra order plates are fairly rare.
Worksplate RESCO WORKS No. L105, RESCO (RAILWAYS) LTD. WOOLWICH LONDON S.E.28 ex British Railways Class 07 D2995 becoming 07011 Jan 1974. New to 71I Southampton Old Docks Sep 1962 and withdrawn from Eastleigh Jul 1977. This plate was fitted when over hauled by Resco (Railways) in Jun 1978 and then sold to I.C.I at Billingham in 1979 until moved to I.C.I. Wilton Sep 1980. Still numbered 07011 and later named Cleveland. Sold for preservation to St. Leonards Railway Engineering in May 1996 and still at St. Leonards T.M.D. privately owned and used for shunting D.E.M.U's. Rectangular engraved brass in as removed condition, measures 7.75in x 5in.
British Railways cast aluminium depot plaque for Cardiff Canton depicting the Goat. Square cast aluminium measures 17.75in x 17.75in in as removed condition.
Nameplate ROTHER VALE No 7 ex Yorkshire Engine Co 0-6-0ST built in 1909 as works number 1021. Delivered new to United Steel Co, Rothervale Collieries, Treeton Colliery, also used at Manton, then Maltby, renamed Philip and sold for scrap in October 19 69. Cast brass face restored, measures 36in x 13.5in. Note the other plate is owned by the Industrial Railway Society and is on loan to Chacewater.
SR ticket office display board. SOUTHERN RAILWAY TICKETS ISSUED AND DATED IN ADVANCE. Yellow with black shaded lettering on an oak board, in excellent condition measures 39in x 6.75in.
Smokebox numberplate 42667 ex LMS Stanier 4P 2-6-4 T built at Derby in 1943 and numbered LMS 2667. Allocated to Bletchley and 5D Stoke from where it was withdrawn in May 1965 and scrapped at Cashmores, Great Bridge. Lightly face restored.
Totem BR(NE) HF SOUTH SHIELDS from the former North Eastern Railway Terminus on the line from Newcastle. In fair condition with some mottling and a couple of face chips.
Sykes Lock and Block Indicator. Dial painted 3 TO C BOX. Complete with top semaphore indicator and plate DOWN LINE, in good condition stands 29in tall with a wooden plinth for display. These were used on most of the Southern Railway constituent compa nies.
Great Western Railway station platform sign PARCEL OFFICE & CLOAK ROOM, double sided wood with cast iron letters and original wrought iron bracket. In as removed condition measures overall 45in x 38in.

Worksplate JOHN FOWLER & Co (LEEDS) LTD NO 15414. Ex Steam powered ploughing engine built in June 1919 and delivered new to Charles Tompkins Northants and road registered as BD 5562. Last licensed in 1945 and scrapped around the same year. Oval e ngraved brass, measures 9.75in x 5in.
Worksplate BRITISH RAILWAYS DERBY BUILT 1967 POWER EQUIPMENT BY ASSOCIATED ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES LTD AND SULZER ex British Railways Class 25 in the number range D7667-7677 25317-25327. Rectangular cast aluminium face restored, measures 13.125in x 6.6 25in. These were only used on this last batch of 11 locomotives.
Totem BR(SC) FF SHIELDS ROAD from the former Caledonian and Glasgow & South Western Railway joint station between Eglington Steet and Ibrox. In good condition with some mottling and scratches to the letters. A rare totem that has only appeared tw ice before at auction the last time 13 years ago.

Great Eastern Railway signal box board REEDHAM JUNCTION from the former box between Norwich and Great Yarmouth. Wood with cast iron letters, in original condition, measures 75in x 12in. From the collection of the late Major John David Pierrepont Poyn tz.
A McKenzie & Holland (Australia) miniature electric staff from Queensland, Australia dating from 1921 engraved with the names Gympie and Monkland and the number 46. The staff is mounted on a wooden display stand which carries a brass plaque recor ding that this was the last staff to be carried between the two stations on 17th March 1983 before the introduction of Computerised signalling.

Smokebox numberplate 42766 ex LMS Hughes Crab 2-6-0 built at Crewe in 1927 and numbered LMS 13066 and 2766. Allocated to Newton Heath and 25G Farnley Junction from where it was withdrawn in November 1962 and scrapped at Cashmores, Great Bridge. Light ly face restored.
