LNER D Type Wagon Plate 1921 COWLAIRS 16T number 733443. A much sought after example albeit somewhat corroded.
Worksplate Ruston Hornsby number 211609 16/20HP locomotive. Ex 20DL, built 1941 and used at Eastriggs thence moved around to a few places and ended up at MOD Lydd Ranges. Ex Army Locomotive from the collection of the late Major John David Pierrepoint Poyntz.

Brass Worksplate Rebuilt By W.G. Bagnall Ltd Stafford Year 1955, Order Number 6747. Measures just 4.5in x 2.5in. Records show that the order number originated from the War Department Services for the overhaul of ex USATC Alco S160 2-8-0 No 71512 of 1 944, MAJOR GENERAL CARL R GRAY Jr, WD700, at a cost of £7,642. It came from and went to Longmoor Camp Hampshire. Interestingly, the loco came with no drawings so numerous photographs were taken during dismantling so it would be known how to reassemble. Romanian Wagon Plate UVA BOGHIUL number 25688 dated 1970 measures 5.25 in x 3.5in together with a double sided German Smoker sign in 4 different languages, probably from a German Carriage; a cast metal plate Bw Arnstadt measuring 12in long; a railway Spanner; small oval plate Bulbourne Workshops 1995. Royal Corps of Transport and German Railways DB steel carriage boards qty 4; The Grefrath Geist; The Dalheim Pioneer; Versen Voyager x2. All measure 31.5in x 12.5in with integral steel handles either end. Together with a similar, but plastic, carried in an original metal frame, Waldniel Venturer and 3 standard DB only carriage boards including Mispel Express from Viersen to Lobberich. Additionally, a small double sided plastic carriage board, OBB Orient Express Paris to Wien via Strasbourg, Kehl, Karlsruhe, Stuttgart, Munchen and Saltzburg. Eastern Counties Railway Detonator Box in original condition measuring 10.75in x 7.5in x 7.5in. The front is painted PERCUSSION SIGNALS below which is the stamping EASTERN COUNTIES RAILWAY.
Class 44 brass Power Handle ex D1 SCAFFELL PIKE as removed from the scrapped loco at Derby by one of the staff, with permission. Only 10 of the class built with this design which changed to a more lightweight device for the later class 45's and 46's. Together with the smaller brass Master Switch Selector Handle from the same loco. Certainly historic items. (2 items)

Midland Railway cast iron sign MIDLAND RAILWAY NOTICE TO DRIVERS, FIREMAN AND ALL CONCERNED. STOP. ALL ENGINES REQUIRING TO ENTER THIS SHED MUST BE BROUGHT TO A STAND AT THIS BOARD. BY ORDER. Measures approximately 43in x 37in and is very heavy requi ring a 2 man lift. Together with the matching cast iron sign BEWARE OF THE ENGINE measuring 20in x 14in, cleanly broken corner, mounted whole on a metal backing and Midland Railway Number 24 Turntable Pit Plate (similar to a Bridgeplate). All 3 were rescued from Derby Running Shed before closure by an ex staff member. Winning bidder will be required to collect from vendor's premises in Derby. (3 items)

Shedplate 55A Leeds Holbeck from 1957 to 1973. In as removed condition with slight casting error on the first number 5, and still in original green paint. From one of the depots diesels which included class 45 Peaks.
Great Central Railway brass Machinery Asset Plate GCR M80, 4.25in x 2.5in, together with a cast iron plate 1947, 5.5in x 3.5in, possibly similar from a machine of sorts.
Class 25 Worksplate BRITISH RAILWAYS DARLINGTON BUILT 1963 POWER EQUIPMENT BY ASSOCIATED ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES LTD AND SULZER ex British Railways diesel Class 25 from the number range D5176-5185,5223-5232,7578-7581 becoming 25026-25035,25073-25082,25 228-25231. Rectangular cast aluminium, measuring 13in x 6.5in. Recovered from Derby by a member of staff who then had it laser blasted, so pretty much bereft of paint.
A pair of Class 40 aluminium Scoop Plates, both with different font. Text reads IMPORTANT WHEN RAISING SCOOP THE HANDLE MUST BE HELD IN RAISED SCOOP POSITION FOR AT LEAST 30 SECONDS. Measures 9.5in x 3in. The top one has 40128 scratched into the back . The Class 40's along with Deltics were fitted with water scoops for use when traversing water troughs and used for train heating but were removed once steam traction ended, so a couple of scarce items.
LMS Tenderplate No 6295, ex 3800 Gallon Tender as fitted to L&NWR 4-6-0, 4-4-0 and 0-8-0 locomotives. Together with a cast iron WATER SCOOP plate, 10.75in x 2in, a cast iron 4200 GALLONS cast iron plate 4.5in x 3in and a brass plate NOTICE SHUT L ID AFTER TAKING WATER - BEFORE ENTERING TANK FASTEN LID BACK, measuring 8in x 3.5in. London General Omnibus Company nickel and enamel Inspector Hat Badge number 846, issued between 1908 and 1933. A fine example with both lugs intact and just a small amount of enamel loss.
Metropolitan & London North Eastern Railway gilt Cap Badge number 467, issued between 1908 and 1933. One rear lug missing.
Great Central Railway WWI Service Badge by Wylie & Sons stamped on rear with the number 8433. Good condition, together with a couple of different LMS initials Cap Badges with rear lugs; an LNER initials Cap Badge with lugs and clip and a flat GC R Cap Badge missing rear lugs. (5 items)

LMS REBUILT 1913 DERBY brass oval Worksplate. Cleaned a long time ago but there are very small but significant traces of green paint on the edge. Many locos were rebuilt at Derby this particular year.

Measures 32in tall x 23.5in wide and 11.5in deep, it is clearly branded on rear with company initials and the front hasp is clearly stamped likewise.
