Allocated to 68B Dumfries for most of its working life and withdrawn from there in March 1955 and scrapped at Kil marnock Works. Oval cast brass measuring 9in x 5.25in. Face restored.

Worksplate THE ENGLISH ELECTRIC C0. LTD. VULCAN WORKS, NEWTON-LE-WILLOWS, ENGLAND No. 3583/E353.1965. Ex British Railways Class 73 electro-diesel originally numbered E6021 becoming 73115 Feb 1974. Allocated new to 75D Stewarts Lane Feb 1966. After co llision with a parcels train at East Croydon station in Jan 1982, it was moved to Selhurst and scrapped on site by BR staff, being officially withdrawn in Apr 1982. Rectangular chromed brass face lightly cleaned, measures 10.125in x 4.5in.

Pullman Type C brass table lamp decorated with Ram's Heads and Greek Urns and stamped on the side of the base NEPTUNE. From a 12 Wheeled First Class Kitchen car built in 1920 for use on the South Eastern & Chatham Railway Continental Boat train s ervices. In good condition complete with a replacement mahogany base and original celluloid shade which sadly although complete has multiple cracks. Stands 19in tall.

BR(S) locomotive whistle of a SE&CR pattern of the Maunsell era with the operating lever configured for the whistle to be mounted vertically on the loco. Complete with mounting flange and lever and stamped BR A (Ashford) on the Bell and body, In nicely cleaned condition stands 13in tall.

Allocated to Anneseley, Neasden, Ardsley, Lincoln, Immingham and 39A Gorton from where it was withdrawn in March 1960 and at Darlington Work s. From one of the last class members to last into the 60's. Oval cast iron face restored, measures 9in x 5in.

Nameplate BROCKET HALL ex GWR Collett Hall Class 4-6-0 built at Swindon in 1939 as order number 327 and numbered 5987. Allocated to Old Oak Common, Didcot, Reading and 81F Oxford from where it was withdrawn in January 1964 and scrapped at Swindon wor ks. In restored condition rear stamped L 5987 indicating this is the left hand plate. The Hall is near Welwyn Garden City Hertfordshire and now houses two championship Golf courses.

Cabside numberplate, SOUTHERN RAILWAY A 890 ex SECR Maunsell U 2-6-0 built at Ashford in 1928. Re numbered 31890 by British Railways in 1948. Allocated to Stewarts Lane, Bricklayers Arms, Norwood Junction, Three Bridges and 75A Brighton from where it was withdrawn in June 1963 and scrapped. Oval cast brass face lightly cleaned and original mounting bolts still present with a pilot hole drilled through them, measures 13.5in x 7.5in.

Midland Railway cast iron Lamp Post complete with ladder bars. Cleary marked Midland Railway Company on the base, it stands approximately 133 inches tall from the base to the top and is in very good condition. From one of the local stations on the Lo ndon Tilbury and Southend Railway line. Buyer to arrange collection from Rochford Essex.

Allocated new to 5A Crewe North and withdrawn from Lonsight in September 1984 and scrapped at Crewe works. In very goo d condition with all angle removed and 40035 No1 chalked on the back. Measures 34in x 19.75in.

Smokebox numberplate 44291 ex LMS Fowler 4F 0-6-0 built at Derby in 1927 and numbered LMS 4291. Allocated to Lower Darwen, Wigan central, Belle Vue, Newton Heath and 27E Walton on the Hill from where it was withdrawn in November 1959 and scrapped at Central Wagon Co., Ince, Wigan. Face restored.

Allocated to Ryecroft, Tebay, Carnforth, Barrow in Furness and 9F Heaton Mersey from where it was withdrawn in December 1962 an d scrapped at Albert Loom, Spondon. Oval cast brass, face lightly cleaned. Measures 12.75inx 6.75in.

Stainless steel Intercity Swallow, Right hand facing, as removed from a Class 91 electric locomotive. Measures 24.5in long and is in excellent as removed condition complete with tail tips.

In the experimental Pink enamel used and a few stations including Norwood Junction and Dover Marine In very good condition with one minor face chip, measures 18in x 3.5in. A superb doorplate and one of only two known survivors, a must for the doorplate collector.

Great Northern Railway 3 Aspect large pattern double pie crust Handlamp brass plated LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY BOX 4 TH 20 MILE and steel plated with a relocation plate DERSINGHAM. Complete with all glasses, original fixed reservoir and LNER burner. In good original condition.

Midland Railway mahogany cased Rotary Block Instrument stamped in the top MR Co 1913. In nicely restored condition. Probably one of the best examples we have seen, measures 18in tall.

Worksplate NORTH BRITISH LOCOMOTIVE COMPANY LTD GLASGOW No. 27904-1960 Ex British Railways Class 22 diesel hydraulic D6331. Allocated new to 83D Plymouth Laira Jul 1960. Stored at Old Oak Common Dec 1968 until withdrawn Mar 1971. Caught fire and was burnt out whilst being hauled to Laira May 1971 and stored at Marsh Junction, Bristol until moved to Swindon Works Dec 1971 and scrapped there Mar 1972. Diamond shape cast aluminium in as removed condition. Measures 13.5in x 5.5in.

Nameplate GOODRICH CASTLE ex GWR Collett Castle Class 4-6-0 built at Swindon in 1932 as order number 280 and numbered 5014. Allocated to Newton Abbot, Laira, Weymouth, Bristol Bath Road, Old Oak Common and 84E Tyseley from where it was withdrawn in F ebruary 1965 and scrapped at Cashmore's Great Bridge. In lightly cleaned condition with L 5014 280 stamped in the back indicating this is the left hand side plate. Goodrich Castle is between Ross and Monmouth and is now a tourist attraction.

Oval cast brass in lightly cleaned condition with c racks on both boltholes and 2829 chalked on the back. Measures 10.5in x 6in.

Totem BR(W) FF DROITWICH SPA from the former Great Western Railway station between Worcester and Wolverhampton. In excellent condition, the fully flanged version is a lot less common than the half flanged one and last appeared at auction 13 years ago .

Worksplate L.B.& S.C.R. BRIGHTON WORKS No 25 1908 ex Marsh I3 4-4-2 T originally numbered LBSCR 25, then S.R. 2025 and lastly BR 32025 which was not applied. Allocated to 75F Tunbridge Wells West from where it was withdrawn in January 1950 and sc rapped at Eastleigh Works. Oval engraved brass in as removed condition complete with grease ! , measures 16.25in x 9.5in.

Nameplate HEATON ex British Railways Class 43 HST power car 43095. Named at Heaton Depot on the 4th February 1984 by Frank Paterson, General Manager of British Railways Eastern Region. Nameplates removed Mar 1991. Allocated new to Heaton Sep 1978, re numbered 43295 Dec 2008, the power car has been stored since Dec 2020 after last operating with East Midlands Railway and previously LNER when it was named Perth. Rectangular cast aluminium in as removed condition, measures 27.25in x 9in..

Wagonplate L&SWR Co EASTLEIGH WORKS 9046. Oval cast iron face restored with 56052 painted on the back. From a 10t brake van that was renumbered 56052 in Southern Railway days and transferred for use on the Isle of Wight around May 1932. Measures 13.5in x 7.5in.

GWR Brass cabside numberplate 4377 ex Churchward 2-6-0 built at Swindon in 1915. Allocated to St Philips Marsh, Andover Junction (MSWJR), Westbury, Chester West and 89C Machynlleth from where it was withdrawn in January 1959 and scrapped at R.S. Haye s/Birds, Tremains Yard, Bridgend. Lightly face restored with boiler and class details stamped in the rim, one of the few of this class that carried Brass cabside numberplates.
