BR(S) FF enamel doorplate PRIVATE. In excellent condition one minor edge chip, measures 18in x 3.5in. This is the light green version.
Smokebox numberplate 2219 ex Collett 0-6-0 built at Swindon in 1940. Allocated to Machynlleth, Oswestry, Ebbw Junction and 83B Taunton from where it was withdrawn in March 1964 and scrapped at Slag Reduction Co. Ltd., Briton Ferry (Albion Steelworks) . Face lightly restored, a well photographed Somerset and Dorset Railway locomotive in the last few years.

Great Western Railway early pattern mahogany cased double line Spagnoletti block instrument with individual plates marked UP LINE and DOWN LINE. Complete with both keys, flaps and slides, case stamped H.White & Co London. In good ex railway condi tion and both flags move freely, stands 15in tall.
Nameplate DUMBIEDYKES ex North British Railway Reid D30 4-4-0 built at Cowlairs in 1914 and numbered NBR 418, LNER 9418, 2427 and BR 62427. Allocated to Perth, Dundee Tay Bridge and 62C Dunfermline Upper from where it was withdrawn in April 1959 and scrapped at Inverurie works. Painted steel in original as removed condition measures 46in x 17in. Comes complete with original British Railways correspondence, receipts and some photographs of the locomotive.

GWR brass cabside numberplate 6699 ex Collett 0-6-2 T built Armstrong Whitworth in 1928. Shedded at 82C Swindon, 88A Radyr and 88A Cardiff Canton from where it was withdrawn in 1963. Scrapped the following year at Birds Risca. Face restored.

First allocation 87E Landore Jul 1963. Named at Motherwell station on 4th March 1986 by Colin Driver, Railfreight Director and carried until removed in Oct 1994. Loco withdrawn from HQ in Jun 1999 and scrapped at Wigan CRDC in Jan 2000. Rectangular cast aluminium in as removed condition. Measures 59in x 17.625in. Comes with original EWS authenticity certificate.
LNWR & LYR joint railway station sign STATION MASTER. Double side wood with cast iron letters from a station on the Preston & Longridge line closed in 1967. In very good ex station condition, measures 48in x 12in.

British Railways Gresley D49 Hunt nameplate right hand facing fox. This was acquired at Darlington works in the 1960's by the vendors father who worked there and is a genuine uncarried replacement cast at the works. Cast brass measures 19.5in long.

Nameplate EARL BALDWIN ex GWR Collett Castle 4-6-0 5063 and GWR Collett Dukedog 4-4-0. 5063 was originally named Thornbury Castle when built at Swindon in June 1937 but these were removed and replaced with the Earl plate from the Dukedog one month la ter. Allocated to Worcester, Bristol Bath Road, Stafford Road and 2B Oxley from where it was withdrawn in February 1965 and scrapped at Cashmores, Great Bridge. In lightly cleaned original condition.

Nameplate GROTRIAN HALL ex GWR Collett Hall Class 4-6-0 built at Swindon in 1933 as order number 281 and numbered 5926. Allocated to St Blazey, Laira, Stafford Road, Tyseley and 84C Banbury from where it was withdrawn in September 1962 and scrapped a t Cashmore's Great Bridge. In as removed condition rear stamped R 5926 indicating this is the right hand plate. The Hall was in Wigmore Street London W1.
