Smokebox numberplate 42530 ex LMS Stanier 2-6-4 T built at Derby in 1934 and numbered LMS 2530. Allocated to Plaistow, Greenock Ladyburn and 33C Shoeburyness from where it was withdrawn in June 1962. It was then used as a stationary boiler at March s hed before being scrapped at Doncaster Works in 1963. In as removed condition.
GWR cast iron cabside numberplate 8775 ex Collett 0-6-0 PT built at Swindon in 1934. Allocated to 87A Neath Court Sart from where it was withdrawn in April 1962 and scrapped at Swindon Works. In lightly face restored condition.

British Railways Western Region telephone circuit notice EXETER CENTRAL - PADSTOW Telephone Circuit No Q288. Shows Exeter Central, Okehampton, Halwill, Launceston, Otterham, Camelford, Wadebridge and Padstow. In very good condition framed and glazed , measures 8in x 5.5in. The famous last section of the withered arm closed in 1967.

North British Railway enamel doorplate LIFE BELTS. From one of the North British railway owned ex Galloway Saloon Steam Packet Companies ships. In very good condition minor edge chipping, measures 20in x 7in. A copy of a hand written receipt accompan ies the lot confirming its provenance.
London Underground FF enamel target/bullseye sign UPNEY. In good condition with face and edge chipping. Measures 60in x 45in.
Worksplate LNER 9x5 LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY DARLINGTON WORKS 68235 1887. Ex Worsdell North Eastern Railway J71 0-6-0T. Numbered NER 70, LNER 8235 and BR 68235. Allocated to Darlington and 51F West Auckland from where its was withdrawn in N ovember 1960 and scrapped. Oval cast iron with brass renumbering strip in as removed condition measures 9in x 5in.
Nameplate RED STAR ISO 9002 ex British Railways Class 47 numbered 47567 built at Crewe Works in 1964. Originally numbered D1625 then 47044 Oct 1973, 47567 Oct 1980 and 47725 May 1995. Named at Euston station on 7th December 1993 replacing the origina l Red Star nameplates and removed in May 1995. Later named The Railway Mission (Jun 1995-Jul 2001) and Bristol Barton Hill (Jul 2001-Feb 2003). Loco scrapped at Booth Roe, Rotherham Jun 2006. Rectangular cast aluminium measures 46in x 13.5in in as removed condition.
Worksplate BUILT 1960 CREWE. Ex British Railways Class 08 diesel shunter originally numbered D3889 becoming 08721 Apr 1974. Allocated new to 64A St. Margarets Jun 1960. Has carried the names Starlet (Mar/Apr 07), M A Smith (May07-Mar11), Downhill CS (Mar11-Dec15) and Longsight (May16-Aug17). Still in service with Alstom and currently at the Widnes Technology Centre. Oval cast iron in restored condition, measures 10.25in x 5.75in.
Nameplate MELMERBY HALL ex GWR Hawksworth Hall Class 4-6-0 built at Swindon in 1948 as order number 366 and numbered 6982. Allocated to Bristol Bath Road, St Philips Marsh and 82E Bristol Barrow Road from where it was withdrawn in August 1964 and scr apped at Cashmore's Newport. In restored condition rear stamped L 6982 indicating this is the left hand plate. The Hall was near Ripon North Yorkshire.

Great Western Railway Wrights Patent coppertop 3 aspect handlamp stamped in the side GWR and brass plated WRIGHTS PATENT PETROLUEM HANDLAMP MANUFACTURED BY WILLIAM SUGG & CO LTD WESTMINSTER. In nicely restored condition complete with all glasses and a later pattern reservoir.
Nameplate G8 SUMMIT BIRMINGHAM 1998 ex British Railways Mk 3 Driving Van Trailer 82126. Named in 1998 when operated by Virgin Trains and carried until 2004. Later named Wembley Traincare Depot. After use by Anglia Railways it was stored at MOD Longto wn and later scrapped by CF Booth, Rotherham. Rectangular cast aluminium in as removed condition measures 91in x 9.75in.
Worksplate NORTH BRITISH LOCOMOTIVE COMPANY LTD GLASGOW No 25848 1946 ex Thompson B1 4-6-0 numbered LNER 1092 and BR 61092. Allocated to Sheffield Darnall, Leicester (G.C.) and 38A Colwick from where it was withdrawn in February 1966 and scrapped at Birds (Long Marston). Diamond shaped cast brass face lightly cleaned, measures 13.5in x 5.5in.
Diesel Bogie plate NORTH BRITISH LOCOMOTIVE COMPANY LTD GLASGOW BOGIE No. 6306/14 BUILT 1959 Ex British Railways Class 22 diesel hydraulic. Diamond shape cast brass in as removed condition measures 6.25in x 2.625. From one of the locomotives that was scrapped at Swindon.
Totem BR(SC) FF CARFIN from the former Caledonian Railway station between Holytown and Edinburgh. In fair condition with some face chipping and mottling.
South Eastern & Chatham Railway shovel. Measures 38in long and is branded SECR three times and has the makers name Brades & Co stamped on the socket. In very good condition and a rare pre grouping survivor.
North Staffordshire Railway cast iron Guards van stove. In 3 sections with NSR and the Staffordshire Knot cast on the two doors. Stands 29in tall and measures 12in x 12in at the base, has been nicely restored with proper heat resistant paint. A rare item from this small company.
A pair of LMS oval cast brass locomotive water capacity plates 3500 GALLONS 10in x 6in and 2000 GALLONS 10.5in x 6in. Both face restored.
BR(M) signalling sign OLDBURY SHUNT FRAME. The shunt frame controlled the Gulf Oil Company Albion Sidings between Birmingham New Street to Wolverhampton. In very good original condition wood with cast iron letters measures 35in x 12in.

Worksplate RAVENGLASS AND ESKDALE RAILWAY BUILT KERR STUART 1900 REBUILT RAVENGLASS 1996. This Kerr Stuart loco was built in 1900 as a 2ft gauge 0-4-0 WT for Dundee Gas Commissioners. Sold in 1960 and donated in 1976 to the Ravenglass and Eskdale whe re it was re-gauged to 15in with side tanks and became a 0-4-2 and numbered 11 in the R&ER fleet. Rebuilt again as a tender loco in 1996 when this plate was added. Currently on loan to the Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway. Oval engraved brass in as removed condition measures 4.25in x 2.75in.
Taff Vale Railway whistle, stamped on the sides T.V.R. P.WAY 196 and stamped on the lip THE ACME THUNDERER. J.Hudson & Co Barr St Birmingham, together with a Great Western Railway whistle stamped on the sides G.W.R P.WAY 20898 and on the lip THE ACME THUNDERER. Both in ex railway condition.

Worksplate BUILT DARLINGTON 1955 ex British Railways Diesel Class 10 0-6-0 originally numbered 13139 and then D3139 in 1958. New to Hull Springhead in March 1955 then to Darlington and lastly 51L Thornaby from where it was withdrawn in June 1968 and cut up at C F Booth Rotherham March 1969. Mounted on board due to cracks both ends, measures 10.5in x 6in.
