Great Western Railway brass cabside numberplate 3190 ex Churchward 2-6-2T built at Swindon works in 1908. Allocated to Severn Tunnel Junction from where it was withdrawn in March 1958 and scrapped. In nicely restored condition with boiler and class d etails stamped in the rim.
Midland & Great Northern Railway 3 Aspect Handlamp stamped M&GNJR in the reducing cone, handle and side. Brass plated 678 CROMER. Complete with all glasses and BR(E) reservoir and LMS burner. In original condition.

Nameplate KING EDWARD VII ex Great Central Railway Robinson C5 4-4-2 built at Gorton in 1906 and numbered GCR 259 and LNER 5259 and 2896. Allocated to Leicester, Lincoln and withdrawn from Immingham in April 1947 and scrapped at Gorton works. Curved brass complete with the whole of the splasher mounting which is rare for this type of plate as most have been cut down for display. A black and white framed photograph of the locomotive accompanies the lot clearly showing the nameplate.
Great Western Railway brass cabside numberplate 4403 ex Churchward 2-6-2T built at Wolverhampton works in 1905 and originally numbered 3103, renumbered to 4403 in 1912. Allocated to Wellington and 83D Laira from where it was withdrawn in January 1953 and scrapped. In nicely restored condition with boiler and class details stamped in the rim and 3103 stamped in the back.
Headboard as carried on the final Deltic trip on the West Highland line in British Railway days on the 28 August 1981 Edinburgh to Oban BR Merrymaker trip. Haymarket over painted the Cross of St George on the Jubilee board with the Scottish Saltaire and added two polystyrene overlays West Highlands and Tour, sadly this didn't survive. Complete with original metal frame as fitted to the front of locomotive. A unique and well photographed headboard. Measures 48in x 27in.

London & North Western Railway silver presentation trowel inscribed PRESENTED TO PHILIP WHITEWAY ESQ ON THE OCCASION OF LAYING THE FIRST STONE FOR THE RAILWAY BRIDGE ACROSS THE RIVER MERSEY AT RUNCORN XII APRIL MDCCCLXIV (12th April 1864) With ma kers name J. Mayer Silversmith Liverpool and hallmarked for Chester. The Runcorn Railway Bridge, Ethelfleda Bridge or Britannia Bridge crosses the River Mersey at Runcorn Gap between Runcorn and Widnes in Cheshire. The design for the bridge and viaducts was produced by William Baker the chief engineer of the L&NWR. Preparatory work for the bridge and approach viaducts commenced in 1863 and the bridge was completed in 1868 and was opened for traffic on 10 October. The first goods traffic crossed the bridge on 1 February 1869 and the first passenger train on 1 April. In excellent condition measures 12in long.

Allocated to Eastfield, Thornton Junction, Grangemouth and 62B Dundee Tay Bridge from where it was withdrawn in April 1967 and scrapped at P.W. McLellan (Langloan). Oval c ast iron in as removed condition, measures 9in x 5in. One of only 10 B1 locomotives built at Gorton.
LMS Hawkseye FROCESTER from the former Midland Railway station between Coaley Junction and Stonehouse Bristol Road. In face restored condition measures 48in long. Possibly the only surviving sign from this small Gloucestershire station.
Nameplate KNIGHT OF THE BATH ex Great Western Railway Churchward Star Class 4-6-0 built at Swindon in 1908 and numbered 4014. Initially allocated to Plymouth Laira and later 84A Wolverhampton Stafford Road from where it was withdrawn in June 1946 and scrapped at Swindon Works.
