Reengined with a Paxman engine at Inverurie Works Feb 1967 and reclas sified Class 29. Withdrawn from 65A Eastfield Apr 1971 and scrapped at BREL Glasgow Works Aug 1972. Diamond shaped cast aluminium, partially cleaned condition with some original blue paint, measures 14.25in x 6.25in.

Tenderplate LMS 6332 as fitted to various ex LNER locomotives. Rectangular cast iron measures 8in x 5.75in. Together with a LMS WATER CAPACITY 3500 GALLONS oval cast brass plate measuring 10.5in x 6in. Both have been partially restored.

Smokebox numberplate 62043 ex LNER Peppercorn K1 2-6-0 built by the North British Locomotive Company Glasgow in 1949 as works number 26647. Allocated to Stockton, Ardsley and 51A Darlington from where it was withdrawn in July 1965 and scrapped at Geo rge Cohen Cargo Fleet. Face restored.

Rectangular chromed brass face cleaned, measures 10in x 4.325in.

Smokebox numberplate 2240 ex Collett 0-6-0 built at Swindon in 1944. Allocated to Didcot, St Philips Marsh, Taunton and 86A Ebbw Junction from where it was withdrawn in June 1962 and scrapped at Cashmore's (Newport). Face restored.

North Eastern Railway platform lamp with glass name panel ROBIN HOODS BAY from the station on the Whitby to Scarborough line closed in 1965. In original condition complete with gas light mechanism, stands 29in tall.

GWR Brass cabside numberplate 9015 ex Dean/Collett Earl/Dukedog 4-4-0 built at Swindon in 1937 and originally numbered 3215 renumbered to 9015 in 1946. Allocated to Didcot, Oxford and 89C Machynlleth from where it was withdrawn in June 1960 and scrap ped. Face restored.

Great Western Railway cast iron tenderplate GWR 2547 4000 GALLONS. These were paired with Kings, Castles, Stars, Halls, Granges and 47xx locomotives. Oval cast iron face restored with a weld repair, measures 8.25in x 6in.

Nameplate ROLVENDEN ex Kent & East Sussex Railway Terrier No5 built in 1901 at Brighton by the LB&SCR and named Wapping and numbered 71. Renumbered 671 and hired out for construction of the Sheppey Light Railway and in 1905 sold to the K& ESR where it was named and numbered. Withdrawn in 1932 and scrapped. Rectangular cast iron in original condition with traces of original paint. Measures 31.5in x 5.5in. The other plate belongs to the National Collection and is on loan to the Colonel Stephens Museum.

A rare totem that has appeared only 3 times before at auction th e last time over 11 years ago and a must for the Tottenham Hotspur football club supporter.
