Smokebox numberplate 6769 ex GWR Collett 0-6-0P T built at Swindon in 1949. Allocated to Cardiff East Dock, Barry, Swindon and 82B St Phillips Marsh from where it was withdrawn in December 1963 and scrapped. Face restored.

Nameplate RED STAR ISO 9002 ex British Railways Class 47 numbered 47567 built at Crewe Works in 1964. Originally numbered D1625 then 47044 Oct 1973, 47567 Oct 1980 and 47725 May 1995. Named at Euston station on 7th December 1993 replacing the origina l Red Star nameplates and removed in May 1995. Later named The Railway Mission (Jun 1995-Jul 2001) and Bristol Barton Hill (Jul 2001-Feb 2003). Loco scrapped at Booth Roe, Rotherham Jun 2006. Rectangular cast aluminium measures 46in x 13.5in in as removed condition.
Smokebox numberplate 42747 ex LMS Hughes Crab 2-6-0 built at Crewe in 1927 and numbered LMS 13047 and 2747. Allocated to Willesden, Crewe South and 6C Birkenhead Mollington Street from where it was withdrawn in March 1963 and scrapped. Lightly face r estored.
London Underground enamel target/bullseye sign HOLBORN. In excellent condition with a bronze frame, mounted on board for display. Measures 24.25in x 19.75in.
Rhodesian Railways cabside numberplate RR 1945 DE 9A ex BO-BO Diesel Electric built by General Electric. Oval cast aluminium measures 19.25in x 13in and is in as removed condition.
Nameplate KING EDWARD VII ex Great Central Railway Robinson C5 4-4-2 built at Gorton in 1906 and numbered GCR 259 and LNER 5259 and 2896. Allocated to Leicester, Lincoln and withdrawn from Immingham in April 1947 and scrapped at Gorton works. Curved brass complete with the whole of the splasher mounting which is rare for this type of plate as most have been cut down for display. A black and white framed photograph of the locomotive accompanies the lot clearly showing the nameplate.

Totem BR(M) HF TODD LANE JUNCTION from the former Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway station between Preston and Bamber Bridge. The station was named Preston Junction until 1952. In good condition with a slight bend to the left hand end but displays fi ne. A rare totem last at auction 11 years ago.
Great Central Railway lamp tablet SHIREBROOK NORTH from the station on the line between Chesterfield and Tuxford. Engraved China glass in excellent condition and comes complete with a custom made brass display mount, measures 18in x 3.75in.

Allocated new to 87E Landore Jul 1963 and withdrawn from Besc ot Dec 1999. Moved to Springs Branch, Wigan CRDC for component recovery until the remaining shell was moved by road to HNRC Barrow Hill Oct 2002 and then to C F Booth, Rotherham Jan 2003 and scrapped. Rectangular chromed brass face restored and with a crack to one corner, measures 10.25in x 4.5in.

Nameplate Crest THE KING'S OWN ROYAL BORDER REGIMENT as fitted to British Railways Diesel Class 45 built at Crewe in 1962 and originally numbered D58 and 45043 in 1974. Withdrawn in 1984 and scrapped at Vic Berrys. The original cast aluminium crest i s displayed with a quality replica nameplate and steel backboard.

Allocated to Gateshead, Darlington and 52B Heaton from where it was withdrawn in October 1962 an d scrapped at Doncaster works. Lightly face restored, and complete with a wooden splasher for display.

Worksplate BUILT 1957 DERBY Ex British Railways Class 08 diesel shunter in the number range D3337 - D3418 from one of the locomotives that was scrapped at Swindon Works. Oval cast iron in as removed condition. Measures 10.625in x 6in.
A pair of London Transport Underground 1938 stock whistles. One small Tri-Note Chime Whistle and the other and Organ pipe type. Both in as removed condition with plenty of red paint. Tri-Note measures 5.5in tall and Organ pipe 13in.
Nameplate ARCHIBALD ex 0-4-0 DM built by Ruston Hornsby in 1957 as works number 418789. Delivered new to Metropolitan Cammell Carriage & Wagon Co Ltd Wednesbury and in 1964 sold to The Patent Shaft Steelworks Ltd Wednesbury. The locomotive was th en sold to The Severn Valley Railway in 1980 and named Archibald and subsequently scrapped in 1990. Rectangular cast aluminium face restored, measures 28in x 5.5in.

British Railways Lion over Wheel cast aluminium Crest, ex Class 82, 83, 84, 85 Electric loco. Measures approximately 18in x 18in. This example has been copper electro plated which is certainly unusual. In good condition with the correct casting numbe r and stampings in the rear.

REBUILT 1916 BY J.BLAKEBOROUGH & SONS BRIGHOUSE Ex 0-4-0 ST and supplied new J Blakeborough, Hydraulic Engineers, Brigho use. W Yorks. Repaired and rebuilt by J Blakeborough then to Hudswell Clarke and scrapped in June 1955. Nameplate rectangular cast brass measures 27.25in x 5.25in and worksplate, Oval cast brass measures 16.75in x 12in. A superb set in lightly cleaned original condition.

LMS Hawkseye NORTHFIELD from the former Midland Railway Junction station between Birmingham and Bromsgrove. Enamel with its original wooden frame. In excellent original condition, measures 51in x 27in. This is one of the LMS experimental enamel Hawks eyes used on a few stations and is a rare survivor.
Miniature single line staff WHELLEY JCT - HAIGH JCT from the former Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway section on the Isle Of Sheppey. Steel and brass measuring 9.5in long. In ex railway condition complete with staff holder stamped Tyer & Co Guil dford England.
Nameplate CLAN MACKINTOSH ex British Railways Riddles Standard Class 6 4-6-2 built at Crewe in 1952 and numbered 72007. Allocated to 68A Carlisle Kingmoor for all its operational life and withdrawn in December 1965 and scrapped at Campbells Airdrie. Rectangular cast brass lightly face restored. A rare chance to obtain a plate from this small class.
