Allocated to Old Oak Common, Penzance, Newton Abbot, Landore and 83C Exeter from where it was withdrawn in September 1962 and scrapped at Cashmore's (Newport). In lightly cleaned original condition.

Totem BR(SC) HF DALMENY from the former North British Railway station between Haymarket and Inverkeithing and adjacent to the famous Forth Bridge. In good condition with a small crease repair and slight loss of shine.

Cabside numberplate LIDKOPING – KALLANDS JARNVAG 1. Ex 2-6-0T narrow gauge locomotive built in 1908 by Nydquist & Holm as works number 890. Rebuilt as a 2-6-2T in 1930 when the locomotive was passed into Lidkoping Jarnvagar ownership. The line it worked on closed in 1939 and was lifted by 1941. Oval cast brass face restored measures 20.75in x 12.5in. Some research and photographs from the Swedish Railway Museum accompanies the lot.

Great Central Railway Tyers Double line Block Instrument. Stamped GCRY in the top and bottom. In very good original condition, stands 19in tall.

Nameplate badge from British Railways Diesel Class 37 37059 PORT OF TILBURY. Named in 1988 by John Macnab Chief Executive of the port of London Authority, nameplates removed in June 1996. Rectangular cast aluminium face restored and with a small repa ir to the top right hand corner, measures 13.25in x 8.5in.

Smokebox numberplate 6159 ex GWR Collett 2-6-2 T built at Swindon in 1933. Allocated to Old Oak Common, Southall and 81E Didcot from where it was withdrawn in June 1965 and. Face restored.

Great Western Railway cast iron cabside numberplate 4646 ex Collett 0-6-0PT built at Swindon in 1943. Allocated to Banbury, Stourbridge Junction and 2A Tyseley from where it was withdrawn in November 1966 and scrapped at Cashmore's Newport. In partia lly restored condition.

Nameplate DORNEY COURT ex GWR Churchward Saint Class 4-6-0 built at Swindon in December 1911 and numbered 2940, named after the Court one mile north-west of Windsor. Allocated to 86C Cardiff Canton by January 1948 and withdrawn from there in January 1952 and scrapped at Swindon Works in April 1952. In nicely restored condition.

Ex 0-4-0 DM delivered new to Springfields Munition factory Salwick and named Sparky, later Sprignfiedls became British Nuclear Fuels producing the fuel for the first commercial nuclear reactor at Calder Hall. Withdrawn and eventually preserved and now on display at the Ribble Steam Museum along with its sister D628 Mighty Atom whose worksplate is featured elsewhere in this auction. Oval engraved brass in lightly polished condition, measures 12.875in x 8.125in.

Measures 12.75in x 5.125in. Together with a non motorised 00 Hornby model of the loco.
