Tyers LNWR non-pegging Block Instrument brass plated DOWN LINE. Has the text Tyers Patent on lower face. Good appearance, the background paint a little wrinkled but not flaking.

Midland Railway non pegging Block Instrument clearly stamped twice on the top and twice on front with company initials MRCo. A good example .

GWR 1947 double line Block Instrument. Wood cased, top and bottom indicator. Good condition.

Midland Railway mahogany cased Pegging Block Instrument, case stamped MRCo twice on the top, traffolite plated DN. BCH LOCKES SDGS. The sidings were at Goose Hill Junction serving the St. Johns Colliery to Parkhill Pit, Wakefield. The instrument is a lmost certainly ex Goose Hill Junction Signal Box. In original condition, varnish starting to crack, stands 19in tall.

NER mahogany, split cased block bell with tapper and large mushroom bell. Ex box condition with some loss to front portion and one knurled screw missing.

BR-W mahogany cased block bell with cow bell and tapper to front. Complete with R E Thompson & Co makers plate. Measures 9in x 7in, in good, ex box condition, both knurled screws intact.

Elliott Brothers brass cased Telegraph Indicator on wooden base with brass selector links. Page 222 of the accompanying 1940's hardback book Railway Signalling & Communications shows the alphabet codes used. Together with a Tyers Lever Switch in a cast iron box; a wood cased Signal Box Telephone with bakelite handset and brass faceplate; a brass Plunger and a bakelite Plunger; a wood cased Lever push button and quantity 6 later Signal Indicators. Affixed ivorine plate UP BRANCH IN REAR OF HOME SIGNAL. Mounted on an old wooden block inscribed This Block was removed from Severn Bridge (S&Y Rly) Sept 1966.

Worksplate Henschel & Sohn Cassel No 17737 dated 1920. Ex Gooische steam tram no.15 which operated on this tram system in Holland between Amsterdam, Hilversum, Laren and Naarden. Rectangular cast brass in original condition, measures 15.5in x 5.7 5in.

Worksplate Built 1959 DERBY. Oval cast iron, as removed with blue paint on face, ex 08 diesel shunter. Right bolt hole damaged and missing a piece. Together with an oval alloy plate BR DERBY Lot No 30521 dated 1959, ex Class 127 Motor Brake Second, 6 39 pencilled on rear (51639?) totally as removed condition. SR Tenderplate 3085, ex Southern Railway 4-6-0 Mongoliper 1411 later 31411 built Ashford 1933 andallocated to Stewarts Lane, Redhill and Guildford. Withdrawn April 1966 and cut up at Cashmores, Newport in September that year. Measures 3.75in x 1.75in , thick brass with details painted on rear and SER triangle integral to casting.

Together a miscellany comprising quantity 3 unmarked SR Lever Leads; a small quantity of Buttons and Badges in a box, mostly LMS and BR; quantity 5 small BR brass ke y tags on a single ring; a chunky cast iron No2; an alloy BR(M) Train Lighting Dynamo cover; a BRB cast iron Registration Plate 1379 dated 1970.

A ticket collection comprising approx 100 whole Edmondsons and approx 500 halves, plenty late 1930's - 1940's from the big 4. Also an album with a mix of tickets; approx 35 Aptis;a bunchof heritage railways; a small box of Dutch Railways tickets and an album of mixed railway paperwork including luggage labels, much foxing on some pages.

Steam & Diesel Negatives without details, approx 250, mostly 2.25 square, 10 of which are colour. Appear to be 1960's with approx 220 small photo prints which many seem to be from these negatives. Low quality but a good record nevertheless. Addit ionally approx 70 colour slides, some industrial, some foreign, some mixed. Also an album of approx 190, mostly Pamlin Prints of locomotives and other railway related subjects.

GWR Plans of the Truro to Newquay Railway, quantity 9 numbered 1 to 9 surveyed between 1908 and 1912. Each measures 27in x 44in some original pencil annotations, in good, rolled condition with exception of sheet 5 which has half missing. Comprehensiv e information shown on each.
