Shedplate 5A Crewe North 1935 to May 1965. Ex LNWR shed that housed Patriots Jubilees Royal Scots Princesses Coronations and in the final years Britannias. 130 locos were allocated here in the 50s and in its final months around 40 locos carried this code. Unrestored front and back.
Shedplate 1A Willesden 1935-September 1965. This ex LNWR shed was home to over 130 locos in the 1950s and in its final few months still maintained 70. Restored front clean back.
A pair of LNWR cast iron Crane Plates number 3768 and 3770 both faces only restored. Together with a small Due For Paint 1959 plate and a HORWICH Works Open Day 16 August 1980 plate. (4 items)

BR(S) Pocket Watch by Phenix Swiss Made. Rear engraved BR(S)8087. In working order but not regulated. Together with a Southern Railway Pocket Watch no makers name rear engraved SR 3452. Works when wound but minute hand sticks from time to time. (2 it ems)

Smiths 0 - 100 mph Speedometer as fitted to Bulleid Pacifics and BR Standards. Alloy case retaining the 2 pin plug on rear. Original makers plate shows manufacture date as 2/60. Untested but the needle is free to move so may well still be functional.

Shedplate 51A Darlington 1948-March 1966. The ex NER shed housed 112 locos in 1950 and by 1959 this had dwindled to 70. During its BR life it was home to no fewer than 16 different A3s and 12 different B1 Antelopes. In 1965 its solitary A1 Kenilworth was often found on ECML standby duty. A dozen 0-6-0 diesel shunters also carried this code. Face unrestored rear painted black.

The Correct Railroad Map of England Peculiarly Adapted For Travellers Of All Classes circa 1849. Hardback covers open to reveal a linen fold out map 15in x 28in of the existing and unbuilt railways. As a date guide the Oxford Worcester & Wolverha mpton Railway is shown as Not Yet Finished likewise the GNR.
Bradshaw's Complete Map of the London & Dover; London & Brighton; Eastern Counties; Northern and Eastern Counties; London & Southampton; The Great Western; Bristol & Gloucester; Croydon. Circa 1842 the card cover opens to reveal a wel l preserved fold-out paper map measuring 12.5in x 20in. Very good condition considering the age.
Tyer & Company London & Carlisle catalogue of Signalling Equipment from 1912/13. Hardbound with over 100 pages some detached from the binding. Additionally several similarly dated individual pamphlets of various signal equipment of the time.
Early enamel Doorplate BOOKING OFFICE. Blue lettering and border on white ground measures 15in x 9in with edge chipping. Possibly GWR.
Southern Railway enamel station sign PARCELS AND GOODS OFFICE. Measures 36in x 12in with minor chipping and a couple of areas of restoration otherwise good condition. Mead & McLean & Co Ltd London on rear.
Shedplate 14A Cricklewood 1935-September 1963. This ex MR shed was home to 90 locos in 1950 but by the time it changed code to 14B it only had around 30 locos left. It finally closed to steam in December 1964. Some diesel locos that were allocated to the new diesel depot also coded 14A may also have carried these plates. Lightly restored.

Great Central Railway split case Block Bell with cow bell affixed and side tapper. Excellent condition.
London South Western Railway Syx brass cased signal box signal repeater some loss of paint on dial has the original circular Syx makers plate on top of case 7in tall needle moves freely.
