Shedplate 86C Cardiff Canton 1950-September 1960 then Hereford September 1960-November 1964. The ex GWR shed at Canton had around 130 locos on its books during this time which included Castles Halls and a dozen BR Britannias. Canton became 88A until September 1963 when as a diesel depot it became 86A. The former GWR shed at Hereford formerly 85C had 27 locos when it adopted this code. Looks like a very rough BR weld repair but totally original with Swindon casting marks on rear.

Shedplate 2F Coventry 1935 to July 1950 Market Harborough October 1955-February 1958 then Woodford Halse February 1958-September 1963 finally Bescot September 1963-closed to steam March 1966. The ex LNWR shed at Coventry had just 12 loco while Market Harborough had only 6 locos. Ex GCR Woodford Halse had 50 during the period it used this code. Finally ex LNWR shed Bescot had over 60 locos in its care and a few Class 08 shunters also carried this code. Unrestored.

One Engine In Steam solid brass Staff sadly most of the engraved section has been knocked and beaten out but visible is STATION CABIN and MIDDLETON. Measures 15in long. The station is east of Cork in the Republic of Ireland.

GWR Guards Van Lamp complete with original reservoir and burner. Painted red it has a clear bullseye lens and a red bullseye lens but unusually a lift up slot cover for an inserted colour lens. Stamped on the chimney GWR 12889 and another larger numb er 17. A desirable lamp with minor rust loss to the front base.

GWR Tail Lamp complete with later reservoir and burner. Nicely embossed with company initials on the chimney. In totally original condition.
Worksplate BUILT 1951 SWINDON. Cast iron ex BR Standard 75010 built Swindon 1951 and allocated new to Patricroft. Subsequent depots include Llandudno Bangor Chester Lostock Hall and Carnforth from where withdrawal took place in October 1967 and then cut up at Motherwell Machinery and Scrap Wishaw. Rear details not correct. Left edge repair.
Worksplate LMS BUILT DERBY. Ex Midland Railway 2F or 3F 0-6-0 which were replated on mass. Oval cast brass face repainted rear original measures 10.25in x 6in.
