Pullman Lamp stamped 'TC167', type E with festoons, acanthus leaves and tendrils. Car No.167 was the one-time Marjorie converted post-war to third class in July 1948. The car was used on numerous services remaining in service until December 1963. It was subsequently sold to Taylor Bros. of Manchester for scrap.

Cabside Numberplate D1012. Ex Class 52 Western Hydraulic No D1012 WESTERN FIREBRAND. Built Swindon Works and introduced to traffic in November 1962. Withdrawn November 1975 and cut up at BREL Swindon in April 1979.

Alloy Shedplate 84A, Plymouth Laira from September 1963 until May 1973. Face restored.

Totem BR(M) NUNEATON fully flanged. Ex LNWR station on the Trent Valley section of the West Coast Main Line, opened in 1847. Excellent condition with good colour and shine, just the usual chipping around the periphery.

GWR Cast Iron Signal Box Board OXLEY NORTH SIGNAL BOX. The box was situated on the main line from Wolverhampton to Shrewsbury very close to Oxley MPD and the junction with the Wombourn branch from Kingswinford Junction on the former OWWR Stourbridge - Dudley line. It closed in March 1965. Measures 75in x 9in.

Miniature Single Line Staff FELIN HELI - CAERNARVON in original leather Hoop and Holder. Ex LNWR Branch from Bangor, closed in 1970 and now a cycle track.

Smokebox Numberplate 45433. Ex Stanier 4-6-0 'Black 5' loco built by Armstrong Whitworth under works number 1488 in November 1937. Allocations include Monument Lane and Bescot in the early years before a move to Scotland and allocations to Motherwell and Hamilton. Withdrawn March 1966. An original Halifax Railfans receipt accompanies which includes smokebox numberplate 43332 which will have a copy receipt accompany.

Road Sign 'LEVEL CROSSING', cast iron measuring 21 inches x 12 inches. Face restored

Worksplate Yorkshire Engine Company Sheffield England and British Thomson Houston Co and Rolls Royce Limited Derby England rectangular alloy 17in x 7.5in. Together with a Yorkshire alloy Radiator Plate 19in x 5in and finally a Yorkshire Grey emblem 6 .25in x 3.5in

Cabside Numberplate 5506. Ex GWR Collett 2-6-2T locomotive built Swindon October 1927 and allocated to Kidderminster. Moved to Wells for a spell and finally to Laira in October 1955. Withdrawn in May 1958. Cast iron construction, restored.

GNR small Handlamp bearing a GREAT NORTHERN RAILWAY brass plate with the location BASFORD 30. Complete with original reservoir.

Shropshire Union Railways & Canal Co cast iron Notice (title removed) 'Notice No Person Is Allowed To Pass Over The Aqueduct With Their Bicycle Lul 1918 (918 removed) By Order'. Totally unrestored measuring 26in x 14in approx.

GNR double pie-crust, bullseye lens Handlamp brass plated WAINFLEET 3. Tastefully restored.

LNER cast iron Seatback DAYBROOK. Ex GNR station originally a terminus on the line from Nottingham north of Sherwood, opened as Bestwood and Arnold, later Daybrook for Arnold and Bestwood and finally simply Daybrook. Later lines to Basford North and Bulwell Forest were added. Closed in 1960. Ex station condition.

Great Northern Railway wooden Yoke complete with both chains. Painted 'GNR Alford' in typical style. This Lincolnshire station opened in 1848 as Alford Town becoming simply Alford in 1923. It closed in 1970.

Single Line fibre Tablet SOUTHILL - BEDFORD No1, bearing the number 26. Ex Midland Railway section on the branch which served stations at Cardington, Southill, Shefford and Henlow in Bedfordshire. Opened in 1857, but was largely made redundant as a through-route to London by the extension of the Midland Main Line to St Pancras. The last passenger train ran in December 1961, but goods lingered until 1964.

Smokebox Numberplate 4256. Ex Churchward 2-8-0 heavy freight loco, built Swindon in April 1917 and allocated to Newport. Saw further service in South Wales at Landore and finally Duffryn Yard from where withdrawal took place in January 1964.

GER sliding-knob single pie-crust Handlamp with bullseye lens and stamped GORLESTON NORTH SIGNALBOX No 2. Also brass relocation plate London North Eastern Railway SPALDING. Tastefully restored.

GWR Carriage Print 'Diagram Map Of The Great Western Railway Showing Routes, Principal Stations & Junctions' in original glazed frame. Printed by John Bartholomew & Sons, it shows all ex GWR lines and with the four GWR Hotels picked out in red block. Extremely good condition.

Worksplate LMS Built 1947 Derby. Cast iron construction, the Vendor's records show this to be ex 2-6-4T locomotive. Those built this year were 2265 - 2272 and 2273 - 2299 so off one of 35 locos.

BR(NE) Enamel Sign, fully flanged reads:- British Railways Hull Central Goods Depot - Entrance For Vehicles Not Exceeding 12ft High Measures 60 x 24 and is in extremely good condition with deep colour and shine and minimal chipping.

Totem BR(W) MERTHYR, fully flanged. Originally Merthyr High Street, the station was designed by Brunel and at one time was served by no less than five different Welsh Companies. In virtually mint condition.

Worksplate Andrew Barclay 366/1943, oval brass. Ex Standard Gauge 153hp 0-4-0DM No.1 new to ICI Ltd, Charlesfield Munitions Factory near St. Boswells which they operated on behalf of the Ministry of Supply producing mainly thermite incendiary bombs. The factory closed in 1946 but was reopened by the Admiralty in June 1949 finally ceasing use as a military facility in the early 1960s. Thereafter the site was used for agricultural purposes before an industrial estate was established in the mid 1970s. Face cleaned, rear ex loco.

Single Line fibre Tablet KETTLENESS - HINDERWELL No 21. Ex Whitby to Middlesbrough coastal route, closed in 1958.

LBSCR fully titled cast iron Wagon Plate To Carry 8 Tons number 267. Cast iron 14.75in x 9.25in, face only restored.

Totem BR(M) TIMPERLEY fully flanged. Ex MSJAR station between Altrincham and Brooklands, opened in 1849. Now part of the Manchester Metrolink system. Good colour and shine, one small chip next to the central letter 'E'.

Nameplate THE BOBBY, ex Class 47 number 47743 originally D1772 built 1964. Named at Bristol Temple Meads on 30/3/95 by the BTP Assistant Chief Constable. The loco was derailed at Shelton Bridge near York on 24/7/95 and fell down a 30' embankment. The nameplates were removed for security reasons but the loco ended up being cut-up, beyond economical repair, at the site of the accident. New plates were fitted, in November 1995, to 47746, originally D1754 built 1964. Plate is a neat, 59 in long, totally ex loco and comes with the EWS certificate of authenticity.

Enamel Advertising Sign Cadbury’s Wholesome Delicious Chocolate with makers name Falkirk Iron at the bottom. White on blue ground, it measures 63in x16.5in. Fitted in a wooden frame. Extremely good condition.

Motoring Garage Sign National Benzole Mixture depicting the famous yellow, black and white image of Mr Mercury. Circular tinplate measuring almost 30 inches in diameter. The rear has, in two places Property of the National Benzole Company Regd Trade Mark Number 393120. Excellent condition.

Advertising Enamel FRESH PALETHORPES SAUSAGES TO-DAY, semi pictorial with a packet of Palethorpes sausages, makers name Imperial Enamel Co Bham to the bottom, this sign is in virtually mint condition, measures 36in x 15in.

Nameplate BROWNHILL ex Industrial Locomotive. 3ft Gauge 0-4-0ST built by Hunslet No. 832 in 1903 named COOLMORE for T.S. Dixon, contractor, Londonderry, Northern Ireland for work on the County Donegal Railway contract, Stregal-Ballyshannon. Believed for disposal 30 January 1906 and sold to McAlpine the same year becoming 22 in their fleet. Worked on McAlpine's Strabane-Letterkenny contract for the County Donegal Railway 1906-1909 and then by 1912 on their Alwen reservoir contract, North Wales, for Birkenhead Corporation. During 1912 it moved temporarily to their GNR Little Bytham-Stoke widening contract and returned to Alwen towards the end of that year. By 1917 it was in residence at McAlpine's Great Stanney Depot, Ellesmere Port. By March 1924 the loco was acquired by Burnley Corporation for use on the Hurstwood Reservoir Contract believed still named COOLMORE. By December 1924 it was with Lehane, McKenzie & Shand on their Brownhill reservoir contract, near Holmbridge, West Riding, where it received the name BROWNHILL. It was then used on contracts at Gorple reservoir for Halifax Corporation and at Fernilee reservoir for Stockport Corporation moving to Fernilee's Darley Dale plant yard by 4 November 1937.It was still there two years later but was then loaned/hired to Balfour Beatty for the wartime Admiralty contracts in Orkney (Scapa Flow improvement works). It later returned to Lehane's Darley Dale yard but circa 1945 was acquired by William Trigg, dealer, at Matlock and remained in his yard until scrapped in July 1951. Rectangular brass 23.75in x 5.5ins, ex loco condition.
