BR(E) FF enamel doorplate PRIVATE measuring 18in x 3.5in. In good condition with a couple of small repairs. Eastern region fully flanged doorplates are quite rare.

Smokebox numberplate 73083 ex BR Std class 5 4-6-0 named Pendragon and built at Derby in 1955. Initially allocated to 73A Stewarts Lane, then 70A Nine Elms 1959, 70B Feltham 1964 and lastly 70G Weymouth in 1964 from where it was withdrawn in 1966. In ex loco condition. This is the first time that this smokebox has appeared at auction.
Carriage prints, a pair, both in modern glazed frames by Ronald A. Maddox. One WORDSWORTH HOUSE COCKERMOUTH CUMBERLAND and the other TOWNEND NEAR AMBLESIDE WESTMORLAND. Both removed from carriages on the IOW.

Cast iron signs x2: GCR BEWARE OF TRAINS together with a GWR SIGNAL BOX DOOR notice that has been shot blasted ready for painting, traces of old paint left.
Nameplate MINORU from the LNER A1 / A3 Class 4-6-2 No 2561 which was named after King Edward Vll's racehorse which won the 1909 Derby and 2000 Guineas. The locomotive was rebuilt and re-classified to A3 Class in June 1944, renumbered 62 in 1946, and becoming BR 60062. Allocated new to Gorton in May 1925 and later Kings Cross, Doncaster, Grantham, Copley Hill and New England from where it was withdrawn on 26 December 1964 and despatched for scrap to R.A. King of Norwich on 18 March 1965. The front face restored a long time ago. This is the other side to the one we sold in July 2016.

All measure 24in x 9.5in and are from the Southern Region serie s by Claude Buckle. LOCH LOMOND by Frank Mason, TILBURY HAILING STATION ESSEX by Francis R. Flint and LOCH SHIEL WESTERN HIGHLANDS by W. Douglas MacLeod. All have a little spotting.
Tyers No 6 brass and steel single line tablet SNETTISHAM 37 HEACHAM. From the former Great Eastern Railway line in Norfolk from Kings Lynn to Hunstanton. The single line section started at Wolferton which was used as a Royal station, being only 2 mil es from Sandringham House. The line was closed in May 1969.
GWR wooden jigsaws, a pair; THE CATHEDRAL, with GWR system map on reverse, 150 pieces with excellent condition brown label box. Together with BATH, 150 pieces with a good condition black label box. Both puzzles are made up to confirm condition.

LNER tender plate 5959 of 1910, used with Q4 5959 to 1944 then O4 5407 / 63677 from 1944 to 1962 and cut up at Gorton in 1962. Face restored rear original.
LNWR Carbide handlamp, complete and embossed LNWR 3 times in very good condition. Together with a tin of carbide powder.
Southern Railway lamps as acquired from Wroxall Station IOW. One SR locomotive lamp, no reservoir. The other a BR(S) SR pattern 4 Aspect handlamp complete except for orange glass.
Midland Railway cast iron bridge notice, James Williams April 28th 1875. Nicely restored.
Great Northern Railway mahogany cased single needle block instrument with handle and release trigger in ex railway condition.
Highland Railway Coat Of Arms nicely mounted on a hardwood display board, measures 17in x 13in , this pattern was used on coaches until 1907.
LMS Firemans shovel, stamped LMS and makers name WEARWELL. Measures 37in long and is in good condition.
BR station fluorescent strip type lamps, a pair, NUNEATON. Both with faults but you could make one good example from the pair. Measure 70in long.
Station stamps x5 to include: one with fruit wood handle and brass stamp reads HANNINGTON STATION GWRY. The other 4 are wood with rubber stamps which read: STATION MASTERS OFFICE HIGHWORTH GWR, DISTRICT INSPECTORS OFFICE OPERATING DEPT HEREFORD BARRS COURT, DISTRICT INSPECTOR HEREFORD BARRS COURT, and lastly STANTON. All in good condition, together with a bottle of BR stamping ink.

Pullman brass table Lamp type E with festoons, acanthus leaves and tendrils. In good original condition with plated finish, unfortunately it hasn't got a car number stamped in the base so this was one of the spares they used when required.

LMS wooden and cast iron lettered signal boxboard CLEEVE from the former Midland Railway box between Ashchurch and Cheltenham. A rare survivor measuring 39in x 10in.
Severn and Wye cast iron mile marker 2 3/4 complete with original post, together with a cast iron switch sign on original wooden post.
British Railways nickel cased chrome plated stopwatch by Nero. Engraved to rear of case BR786. In good working condition.
British Railways Midland region 12 inch oak cased clock with a Smiths going barrel movement with platform escapement. The case is in good original condition and the Arabic lettered dial has BR(M) 24485 painted on the dial. In full working condition c omplete with key and original British Rail collectors corner receipt dated 2/12/1989.
Cast iron BEWARE OF THE TRAINS. These are very early LNWR signs, maybe even London and Birmingham. Rectangular 21in x 13in with bottom mounting frame.
