Smokebox numberplate 42298 ex Fairburn 2-6-4T. Built 1947 at Derby, allocated initially to 25F Low Moor then transferred to 24C Lostock Hall from where it was withdrawn in December 1962. It was cut up at Horwich Works in 1963. In ex loco condition.
A pair of Vanguard locomotive plates, both chromed brass and displaying the knight with sword on horseback. Both ex loco.

Sold around February 1971 to Guest, Keen & Nettlefolds Ltd., Castle Works, Cardiff. Number ed 370 and named Carlisle. Scrapped on site December 1994 by Allied Bird Fragmentation, Cardiff. Face restored.

LNER nickel cased pocket watch with a Swiss Record 15 Jewel movement, the rear of the case engraved LNER 3438. The LNER is a little rubbed and the dial is free from chips and cracks. In good working condition.

Ex British Railways Class 15 Bo-Bo Diesel Electric locomotive D8241 delivered to British Railways 1/2/1961 and withdrawn 14/4/1968 then scrapped at Cashmores Great Bridge later on in 1968. Rect angular cast aluminium 17in x 5in face restored rear original with D8241 painted on.

Worksplate oval cast iron BUILT 1952 SWINDON. Locomotives built that year were STD Class 4 75xxx and STD Class 3 82xxx. Face cleaned and rear ex loco, weld repair to R/H side. Clear Swindon casting number U240 to bottom.
Shedplate 83D PLYMOUTH LAIRA as acquired from Stafford Road shed in 1963. Face cleaned with traces of original paint.
Worksplate BUILT BY THE BIRMINGHAM RAILWAY CARRIAGE & WAGON CO LTD 1958 SERIAL NO DEL 58 ex Type 2 BO-BO class 26 D5313/26013. Initially supplied to 34B HORNSEY it was withdrawn from HAYMARKET in March 1985. Rectangular chromed brass in totally e x loco condition. Measures 8in x 6in.
GWR brass cabside 4700 ex GWR Churchward 2-8-0 built at Swindon in 1919 and withdrawn from 81C Southall in 1962. One of only eight members of the class, 4700 carried brass cabsides whereas the rest of the class had cast iron. In totally ex loco condi tion and complete with original Swindon paperwork dated May 1964.

A Victorian original brass fireman's helmet, in the Merryweather pattern with crossed axes & torch badge on the front, dragons to sides of the comb, original chin chains sewn onto leather straps with buckle, both are held by brass side rosettes, comp lete with original leather liner and no 9 painted in red inside. In good original condition with slight damage to one side of the comb.
Bus sign TO THE BUSES FOR ILFRACOMBE & WESWARD HO. RAILWAY STATION APPROACH ENTRANCE. SUMMER SATURDAYS ONLY. SPECIAL JOURNEYS OPERATE FROM HERE DIRECT TO ILFRACOMBE. Hand painted on aluminium 51in x 41in. This sign was originally located at the front of Barnstaple Junction Station.
GWR Hotels pint glass, acid etched with GWR in Roundel and HOTELS D underneath. Stands 5in tall and is in excellent condition.
Caledonian Railway 12in pine cased weight driven signal box clock. The four pillar movement with dead beat escapement, Harrisons maintaining power and four spoke wheels are in good cleaned condition. Complete with its original weight, wooden rod pen dulum with brass cylindrical bob and key. Ex Alyth Junction signal box which opened in 1873 and this clock will date from that period. A nicely restored example ready to hang. Stands 57in tall.
