GWR brass cabside numberplate 1003 ex GWR Hawksworth County 4-6-0 COUNTY OF WILTS. See previous lot for details. Face restored.
Worksplate DARLINGTON 2073 1949 ex Thompson B1 4-6-0 61351. Shedded at Kittybrewster, St Margarets and withdrawn from 64C Dalry Road in 1964. The loco was scrapped later the same year but its tender survived and was converted for use as a snow ploug h. Oval engraved cast brass, face lightly cleaned.
Great Eastern Railway 6in dial mahogany cased bracket railway clock with a chain driven English fusee movement stamped G.E.R. on the backplate. The dial is lettered LNER 3149 and the case is in nicely restored condition with a cast brass bezel with c onvex glass. There is a rear glazed door with the GER 3149 ivorine numberplate screwed to the inside. In working condition complete with pendulum and key. The LNER records show the clock as last being in use at Ipswich Advertising Mr Bedford's Office.
Diesel worksplate BRUSH SULZER No480 1963 ex BR Class 47 D1752 47159. Oval cast aluminium, face cleaned and rear ex loco with corrosion and blue paint.
Nameplate SAMUEL JOHNSON ex BR class 60 60062. Built by Brush Loughborough as works number 964 in June 1991, nameplates first seen fitted 2nd May 1991 at Brush and unofficially unveiled June 1991 and the name removed in November 1996. Re-engined and still in active service. Cast aluminium in ex loco condition measures 59in x 9.75in. Sold on behalf of DB Cargo (UK) Ltd and comes complete with a certificate of authenticity.

Nameplate badge ex BR Class 47 47734 named CREWE DIESEL DEPOT QUALITY APPROVED. The Quality approved badges were mounted separately on this loco and 47194, 47489, 47816, 90027/90127, 90126 and 47375. Cast aluminium measures 36in x 5in and in as remo ved condition.
GWR cast iron cabside numberplate 9797 ex Collett 0-6-0 PT built at Swindon in 1936. Shedded at 86G Pontypool Road and withdrawn from there in 1962. Scrapped the same year at Swindon Works. Face restored.
Smokebox numberplate 82030 ex Riddles BR STD Class 3 2-6-2 T built at Swindon in 1954. A well travelled loco shedded at Worcester, Taunton, Exmouth Junction, Gloucester and finally at 82F Bath Green Park where it spent its last months of service on t he S&D. Withdrawn in 1965 and scrapped the following year at Cashmore's Newport. Lightly face restored.

A GWR cast iron yard lamp post complete with frog and electric lamp top complete with enamel shade. The overall height above ground is approx 183in including the top and the post measuring 159in. In very good condition and rarely come up for sale. Th e purchaser will need to dig it up and remove it from a village near Evesham.
NER platform serpent end bench complete but with wood dismantled for ease of transport with original BR receipt confirming it was from Wallsend Station. Measures 80in long.

Last shedded at Plymouth Laira and withdrawn from there in May 1948 scrapped the following year at Swindon Works. Face restored a long time ago rear stamped 3258.
