GWR brass cabside numberplate 111 ex Churchward 4-6-2 Pacific THE GREAT BEAR. Built at Swindon in 1908 as the first and only GWR Pacific, it was rebuilt as a Castle Class locomotive in 1924 and renamed VISCOUNT CHURCHILL. Shedded at 81A Old Oak Commo n and 83D Laira from where it was withdrawn in 1953. Scrapped later the same year at Swindon Works. Face restored with boiler and engine details stamped in the rim. A truly historic cabside.

Smokebox numberplate 30687 ex LSWR Drummond 700 Black Motor built by Dubbs & Co in 1897. Shedded at 70B Feltham in British Railway days and withdrawn from there in 1960. Scrapped at Eastleigh Works. Face restored.

Shedplate 87F Llanelly 1950-1965 with Sub-sheds Burry Port to 1962, Llandovery 1959-1964, Pantyffynon to 1964. Face restored with clear Swindon casting marks to rear.

Worksplate MONTREAL LOCOMOTIVE WORKS LIMITED T1b 69116 NOV 1938 ex Canadian Pacific Class T1b 2-10-4 loco No 5926, the class were known as Selkirks being so named after the Selkirk range of mountains that they crossed, the (railway) summit of which was located just inside the western portal of the Connaught Tunnel beneath Rogers Pass. They were the largest and most powerful non-articulated locomotives in the British Empire. Rectangular cast aluminium in as removed condition, a rare plate.

Nameplate WALLERSCOTE ex Ruston & Hornsby 0-4-0 DE built in 1957 and spent all of its working life at ICI Winnington works until it was withdrawn in 1986. Rectangular cast aluminium measuring 34.75in x 6in and in as removed condition.

British Railways Midland Region 5in dial mantle clock by Smiths Of England. The original dial is lettered BR(M) 22860 and the clock is in original condition and working. A nice little railway clock.

East Kent Railway nickel plated brass Guards whistle stamped on the lip THE ACME THUNDERER EKR. Together with a similar bakelite one stamped in the side EKR. Both in good condition.

BR-W brass cabside numberplate 8444 ex Hawksworth 0-6-0 PT built by W. G. Bagnall Ltd in 1954. Shedded at 86J Aberdare and 86H Aberbeeg from where it was withdrawn in 1961. Scrapped the following year at Swindon Works. Face restored.

Smokebox numberplate 73060 ex Riddles BR STD Class 5 4-6-0 built at Derby in 1954. Shedded at Motherwell and withdrawn from 66A Polmadie in 1967. Scrapped the same year at Campbells Airdrie. In as removed condition, small loss on left hand bolt hole.

Nameplate ROYAL LONDON SOCIETY FOR THE BLIND and Braille badge ex BR class 47 47745. Built at Crewe in November 1965, named september 1994 nameplates removed 20/07/2004. Locomotive scrapped at EWS TOTON by HNRC in August 2004. Cast aluminium in ex lo co condition measures 51.75in x 9.75in. Badge measures 29.75in x 7.75in. Sold on behalf of DB Cargo (UK) Ltd and comes complete with a certificate of authenticity.

Smokebox numberplate 3854 ex GWR Churchward 2-8-0 built at Swindon in 1942. Shedded at Oxford, Swindon, St Phillips Marsh, Cardiff, Pontypool Road, Oxley and withdrawn from 81C Southall in 1965. Scrapped later the same year at Cohens Morriston. Light ly face restored.

Shedplate 84A Wolverhampton Stafford Road 1950 - 1963 and Plymouth Laira 1963 - 1973. Lightly cleaned with clear Swindon casting marks to rear.

Somerset Joint Committee buttons consisting of: 4 x 25mm, 2 x 23mm, 7 x 16mm. All in good condition.

GWR wood with cast iron letters double sided sign GENERAL WAITING ROOM. In nicely restored condition measuring 27in x 9in.

A pair of Victorian large signal lamp cases, one is brass plated UP MAIN. Both are in original condition, one requires the flip up hinge to be resoldered. Both stand 16in tall.

South Eastern Railway 12in dial oak cased drop dial railway clock with a chain driven English fusee movement stamped in the back SER G&B. The case is in ex railway condition and the back box is stamped 868.SE. The dial is in lightly cleaned original condition and is screen printed JOHN WALKER 1 SOUTH MOLTON ST LONDON and lettered B.R.(S) 868.S.E. In working condition complete with pendulum which is stamped 868 and key. The Southern Railway records show this clock as last being in use at Virginia Water Platform and previously at Charing Cross Main Line Booking Office.
