Southern Railway lamp tablet CREDITON from the former LSWR station between Exeter and Okehampton. China glass with original wooden frame. In good condition measuring 18in x 6.5in.
Great Western Railway Ships clock with an 8 inch painted dial, cast brass bezel, brass case and English lever movement. The GWR ivorine numberplate GWR 3612 is screwed onto the bottom of the case. In working condition complete with key.
Great Western Railway locomotive whistles, a pair of large and small. Both have their top nuts stamped GWR and in nicely polished condition. Small whistle stands 8.5in tall and the large 10in tall.

Midland and Great Northern Railway 3 Aspect handlamp stamped in the side and handle M&GNJR. Brass plated on the reducing cone M&GN and on the side M&GNJR 1777 MURROW. Complete with all glasses and LNER reservoir. In restored condition.
Carriage Print ALDEBURGH, SUFFOLK by Fred Baldwin from the LNER Post-War Series, around 1948. A scarce print. In original type glazed frame, print measures 20in x 10in and is excellent condition.

Worksplate ROBERT STEPHENSON & CO LTD DARLINGTON No 3390 1910 ex Rhymney Railway 0-6-2 T numbered 13 and later GWR number 55. Allocated to 88B Cardiff East Dock and withdrawn from there in February 1953 and scrapped. Lozenge shaped cast brass, fa ce restored with 55 stamped into the back, measures 11.25in x 5.25in.
Diesel worksplate THE ENGLISH ELECTRIC COMPANY LTD LONDON THE VULCAN FOUNDRY LTD LOCOMOTIVE WORKS ENGLAND No 2795/ D510 1960 ex BR Class 40 originally numbered D273 then 40073 in 1974. Allocated new to 52A Gateshead and withdrawn from Longsight and s crapped at BREL Crewe in 1984. Rectangular chromed brass measures 10.25in x 4.5in. Face restored.
Single line miniature staff CLONSILLA - DRUMREE from the former Irish Midland and Great Western Railway section. In very good condition measures 9.5in long.

GWR tenderplate GREAT WESTERN RAILWAY COMPANY SWINDON WORKS JULY 1906 1684 3500 GALLONS. Oval engraved brass with black wax filled letters, in very good condition, measures 11.25in x 8.25in. It is known to have been attached to 7816 Frilsham Manor.
LNER cast iron doorplate GOODS OFFICE. Face restored, rear original, measures 14.75in x 4.75in.
Southern Railway 12 inch oak cased fusee dial clock with wire driven movement. The original dial is lettered S.R. JOHN WALKER 1 SOUTH MOLTON ST LONDON 10115. The case has one side door and a bottom door and is stamped 10115 on the back. The Southern Railway clock records show that this was purchased in 1932 for £5 from J. Walker and was originally used at Ashford Engineman’s Signing On Lobby and later at Ashford Motormen’s Room. In working condition with pendulum and key. Not common to have retained its SR dial writing.

LMS leather cash bag brass plated LMS INVERSHIN from the former Highland Railway station between Lairg and Dingwall. In fair condition but a rare survivor. Measures 10in x 6in.
Shedplate 89A Oswestry 1950-1961 with Sub-sheds Llanfylin to 1952, Llanidloes to 1962, and then Shrewsbury 1961-1963. Face restored with clear Swindon casting marks to rear and edge.
GWR cast iron cabside numberplate GWR 385 ex Taff Vale Railway Class A 0-6-2 T TVR number 165 built by Hawthorn Leslie & Co in 1920 as works number 3400. Absorbed into the GWR and numbered GWR 385, the locomotive was withdrawn in April 1957 and s crapped. Face restored with boiler details stamped into the rim.

BR(W) Glass direction sign ALL STATIONS TO BIRMINGHAM (NEW STREET) AND BEYOND ALSO TO BOURNEMOUTH VIA TEMPLECOMBE. Ex Bristol Temple Meads station with obvious reference to the Somerset and Dorset line. In excellent condition measures 35in x 8in and designed to be illuminated from the rear.
Worksplate SIR W. G. ARMSTRONG WHITWORTH & CO LTD SCOT'S WOOD WORKS NEWCASTLE-ON-TYNE No 938 1928 ex GWR Collett 0-6-2 T number 6650. Allocated to Leamington Spa, Duffryn Yard, Neath (Court Sart), Landore, Swansea East Dock, Barry and 88B Radyr f rom where it was withdrawn in May 1965. Scrapped later the same year at Birds Morriston. Rectangular cast brass, face restored, measuring 8.25in x 5in.
Diesel worksplate BUILT BY BRITISH RAIL ENGINEERING LIMITED DONCASTER WORKS 1982 ex BR Class 56 56106. Rectangular cast aluminium measures 7in x 4.75in.
Nameplate COGAN HALL ex GWR Collett Hall 4-6-0 built at Swindon in 1935 and named Cogan Hall and numbered 5952. Allocated to Southall, Penzance, Laira, Worcester, Hereford and 88A Cardiff East Dock from where it was withdrawn in June 1964. Sold to Wo odham Bros Barry and eventually became the 136th loco to depart Barry. It is currently owned by the 6880 Betton Grange Project at the Llangollen Railway. In cleaned condition.
Nameplate BESCOT YARD ex BR class 47 47238. Built by Brush Traction as works number 677 in December 1965, named in October 1988 nameplates removed in June 1996. Locomotive withdrawn in 2001 and scrapped later the same year at EMC metals Kingsbury. Ca st aluminium face repainted measures 51.75in x 10in. Sold on behalf of DB Cargo (UK) Ltd and comes complete with a certificate of authenticity.
Southern Railway enamel target station sign ROBERTSBRIDGE from the former South Eastern and Chatham Railway station between Tunbridge Wells and Hastings and junction for the Kent and East Sussex Railway. Measures 36in long and is in good condition wi th a few small chips. Still mounted on its original backing board.
Smokebox numberplate 44931 ex LMS Stanier Black Five built at Crewe in 1946. Allocated to Dairy Road and 63A Perth South from where it was withdrawn in October 1965. Scrapped the following year at Campbells Shieldhall. Face cleaned.
GWR silverplate wine cooler. Full twin shield Great Western Railway Hotels coat of arms to front and base marked Walker and Hall Sheffield. Measures 5.75in diameter and stands 6in tall. In excellent condition.
London Underground enamel station direction sign OSTERLEY PARK STATION with left facing arrow and underground roundel. An early sign in good condition with minor corner loss and a few chips. Measures 18.5in x 28.5in.
Shedplate 88A Cardiff Cathays 1950-1957 with a sub shed of Radyr, Radyr 1957-1961, Cardiff Canton 1961-1963 with a sub shed of Cardiff East Dock until 1962. Lightly face cleaned with clear Swindon casting and machining marks to edge and rear.
Great Western Railway cast iron UMBRELLA STAND cast with GWR initials at the bottom and complete with drip tray. In good condition with a couple of small cracks in the top which could easily be repaired. Measures 25in tall x 24.5in wide x 6.5in deep.
A pair of London Underground tube stock destination enamels MOORGATE / HIGH BARNET and NEW CROSS / NEW CROSS GATE. Both in good condition and complete with bronze ends. Measure 24.5in x 4in.
Totem BR(W) HF EVESHAM from the former Great Western Railway station between Oxford and Worcester. In good condition with a couple of small areas of loss to the left hand end.
LNER Cast iron seatback GOREBRIDGE from the former North British Railway station between Edinburgh and Galashiels. Face restored rear original, measures 35.75in x 4.5in.
Southern Railway 9ct gold 50 years LONG SERVICE MEDAL. Enamelled face with Southern Railway Coat of Arms and engraved on the back E. MERCER 1889-1939, hallmarked .375 and assay mark for Birmingham. The recipient spent all his working life at Ashford Carriage and Wagon Works as an upholsterer and after retirement carried on as a cobbler working from home. He passed away in 1974. In excellent condition and in original case.
Worksplate LMS BUILT 1917 DERBY. Locos built this year were 4F 0-6-0 43837-43851 which was the first production batch after the two 1911 pre-production locos and also 2P 483 class 4-4-0 40417 and 40479. Oval Cast brass face restored, measures 10.5in x 6in.
Diesel worksplate BRUSH HAWKER SIDDELEY BRUSH ELECTRICAL MACHINES LOCOMOTIVE No 907 1989 ex BR Class 60 60005 named Skiddaw 1989-1997 and then BP Gas Avonmouth. Rectangular cast aluminium measures 9.75in x 6in. In as removed condition.
Totem BR(E) FF FORNCETT from the former Great Eastern Railway station between Norwich and Tivetshall. In excellent condition with one small chip on the right hand end.
Great Northern Railway mahogany cased 10 inch fusee clock lettered on the dial BR 12234 with original spun brass bezel. A typical Potts of Leeds supplied clock with shaped movement plates dating it to around 1870. In working condition complete with p endulum and key. The LNER clock records show it was last in use at Doncaster Works Foundry.

BR diesel cabside numberplate 57312 together with a Pullman Crest off the same loco. Ex Class 47 built in 1964 as D1811 then 47330, 47390 and rebuilt by Brush and numbered 57312. It carried various names throughout its life including The Hood, Thund erbirds, Peter Henderson, Solway Princess and Amlwych Freightliner. Bost cast aluminium in as removed condition. Comes complete with DRS official certificate of authenticity.

Nameplate BLANDFORD ex Southern Railway Bulleid West Country 4-6-2 built at Brighton in 1950 and numbered 34107. Renamed BLANDFORD FORUM in November 1952. Allocated to Bournemouth and 72A Exmouth Junction from where it was withdrawn in October 1964. Scrapped later the same year at Birds Morriston. The lot includes the original nameplate, original smokebox numberplate with the Eastleigh triangle cast into the back and mounting lugs removed, an original West Country Class Scroll, and a reproduction shield and badge.
