Shedplate 74A Ashford 1950-1958 with sub sheds Canterbury West to 1955, Rolvenden to 1954 and St Leonards to 1958. Face restored with clear casting marks to front and BR(S) Eastleigh Triangle in the back.
Nameplate LAMPORT & HOLT LINE ex Southern Railway Merchant Navy 4-6-2 built at Eastleigh in 1948 and numbered 35026. Allocations included Exmouth Junction, Bournemouth, Nine Elms and 70G Weymouth from where it was withdrawn in March 1967. Scrappe d later the same year at Cashmores Newport. In lightly face cleaned condition with a small repair to the enamel badge.
Nameplate ROYAL LONDON SOCIETY FOR THE BLIND and Braille badge ex BR class 47 47745. Built at Crewe in November 1965, named september 1994 nameplates removed 20/07/2004. Locomotive scrapped at EWS TOTON by HNRC in August 2004. Cast aluminium In as re moved condition measures 51.75in x 9.75in. Badge measures 29.75in x 7.75in. Sold on behalf of DB Cargo (UK) Ltd and comes complete with a certificate of authenticity.
Worksplate W. G. BAGNALL LTD ENGINEERS STAFFORD ENGLAND No 2404 ex Great Western Railway Collett 0-6-0 PT built in 1930 and numbered 6723. Allocated to Barry and 87K Swansea Victoria from where it was withdrawn in February 1959. Scrapped later the sa me year at T. W. Ward Briton Ferry. Oval cast brass in as removed condition measuring 6.5in x 4.25in.

London Underground enamel target/bullseye LEICESTER SQUARE. Rectangular enamel measures 26in x 28in and is in excellent condition.

London Transport Passenger Board BEST KEPT STATION AWARD x2. One is for Section 2, the other for Section 5. Both date from the early 1920's and have hallmarked silver frame decorations. Stations noted are Liverpool St., King's Cross, Aldersgate, Pic cadilly Circus, Knightsbridge, Holborn, etc. Both measure 24in x 17in and are in excellent condition.

British Railways wooden totem sign Travel Agents Clock. BRITISH RAILWAYS BUY YOUR TICKETS HERE AT STATION PRICES. Painted white on red measures 46.5in x 12in. These signs were to be found in the windows of BR accredited Travel Agents who sold railway tickets on a commission basis. The original 240v movement has been replaced with a battery movement, not tested.
London and South Western Railway indicator board enamels. LONDON (WATERLOO) both measure 7in x 2.5in and are in excellent condition, nicely mounted in a wooden display frame.

Smokebox numberplate 70022 ex Riddles STD Class 7 4-6-2 Britannia built at Crewe in 1951 and named Tornado. Allocated to Laira, Newton Abbot, Cardiff Canton, Longsight, Aston, Rugby, Carlisle Upperby and 12A Carlisle Kingmoor from where it was withdr awn in December 1967. Scrapped the following year at T. W. Ward Inverkeithing. Face restored.
GWR cast iron cabside numberplate 3818 ex GWR Churchward 2-8-0 built at Swindon in 1940. Allocated to Severn Tunnel Junction, Pontypool Road, Swindon, Ebbw Junction, Cardiff East Dock and 81C Southall from where it was withdrawn in May 1965. Scrapped at Birds RISCA. Face restored.
Worksplate THE VULCAN FOUNDRY LIMITED NEWTON-LE-WILLOWS LANCASHIRE No 4918 1943, from a War Department Austerity 2-8-0 built to Ministry of Supply order in September 1943, WD No 77102. Loaned new to the LNER, it returned to the WD in January 1945, lo aned to the GWR in May 1947 and taken into BR stock the following year as 90565. Allocations included Ebbw Junction, Cardiff Canton, Gloucester LM, Didcot, Banbury and 81C Southall from where it was withdrawn in September 1962 and scrapped at Crewe Works 2 years later. Oval cast brass measures 9.5in x 5.75in. Face Cleaned.

Rhymney Railway nickel cased pocket watch with a Rotherhams London English lever movement, top wound and lever set. The dial is enamelled Rhymney Railway Co Spiridion Cardiff and is free from cracks and chips. The rear of the case is hand engraved R. R.Co 38. A rare watch In good working condition.
Taff Vale Railway nickel cased pocket watch with Waltham, Mass movement 4936654. Top wound and top set, the dial is free from chips and cracks. The rear of the case is hand engraved TAFF VALE RAILWAY 99 (a little worn). In working condition.
LSWR nickel cased pocket watch with American Waltham Watch Co movement 14462850 which dates this watch to 1909. The rear of the case is hand engraved L.S.W.R. PASSENGER. and also S.R. 1331. In working condition.

Top wound and top set, the dial has a couple of hairline cracks. The rear of the case is hand en graved L.S.W.R. No 2495 PASSENGER and is in very good, unlike most that are well worn. In working condition.
South Eastern and Chatham Railway silver cased Chronograph Pocket Watch. Hand engraved to rear S.E.& C.R. 3591 and case stamped 925 for Sterling Silver. Dial is free from chips and has a small hairline crack. The watch glass has a small chip. A v ery rare watch in good condition.

Initially allocated to Plymouth Laira and later 84A Wolverhampton Stafford Road from where it was withdrawn in April 1951 and scrapped at Swindon Works. In basically as removed condition complete with all original railway correspondence and official receipt for £1 dated 18th May 1851.
Nameplate WILLIAM BEVERIDGE ex BR class 60 60056. Built at Brush Loughborough as works number 958 in May 1991, named in March 1991 removed in 2014. Locomotive currently active after engine replacement at Toton. Cast aluminium In as removed condition measures 65.5in x 10in. Sold on behalf of DB Cargo (UK) Ltd and comes complete with a certificate of authenticity.
Worksplate NORTH BRITISH LOCOMOTIVE COMPANY GLASGOW No26208 1948 ex LNER B1 4-6-0 61307. Sheds included Kittybrewster, Keith, Thornton Junction and Edinburgh St Margarets from where it was withdrawn in November 1966, cut up at Motherwell Machinery an d scrapped in 1967. Diamond shaped cast brass.

Nameplate FARRINGFORD ex Class 421 Three car modified CIG EMU. Originally numbered 1888 and then 1498 and named Farringford by South West Trains and was used on the Lymington branch. Cast aluminium in as removed condition. Measures 30in x 7.5in.
Carriage prints, a pair; LONDON HORSE GUARDS WHITEHALL and LONDON TOWER BRIDGE. Both are by John L. Baker and from the LNER Post War series. Framed and glazed in original type frames. In good condition, prints measure 20in x 10in.
LNER enamel doorplate PORTERS ROOM measuring 20.5in x 3in. In very good condition with minor edge chipping. This is one of the rarer black and white LNER enamels.

Diamond shaped cast brass in restored condition measuring 15in x 6.25in.

Allocated new to 52A Gateshead and withdrawn from Stratford in 198 6. Scrapped at C. F. Booth Rotherham. Rectangular cast aluminium measures 13in x 6.5in. Face restored.

Private owners cast iron wagonplate JAMES ROSCOE & SONS OWNERS LITTLE HULTON. The company operated two mines, Peel Hall and New Lester, in Manchester and connected to the LNWR via the Little Hulton Mineral Branch. Oval cast iron measures 8.5in x 6in. A rare plate.
North British Railway 13in mahogany cased drop dial railway clock supplied to the NBR circa 1900 by Seth Thomas of Connecticut USA. The dial is in original condition and the case still retains its original Seth Thomas label and LNER ivorine numberpla te 16017. Unfortunately the LNER Scottish Clock Records were lost a long time ago so we can't trace its service location. Complete with pendulum and key.

Oval cast iron lightly restored measures 9in x 5in.
