Nameplate TREVITHICK ex Southern Railway Maunsell Remembrance 4-6-0 originally built in 1914 as a 4-6-4 Tank by the LBSCR and was rebuilt as a 4-6-0. Numbered SR 2327 and BR 32327. Allocated to 70D Basingstoke, it was withdrawn from there in January 1956 and scrapped later the same year. Face restored. One of only a small class of seven locomotives.
Nameplate BRITISH INTERNATIONAL FREIGHT ASSOCIATION ex British Railway Class 37 37194. Named at Glasgow Central Station by Lady Elizabeth Denholm in September 1990. Nameplates removed in January 1999. Rectangular cast aluminium measuring 73in x 17.75 in. In as removed condition.
Shedplate 61B Aberdeen Ferryhill 1950-1966 famous for its allocation of A4 and A2 Pacifics. In lightly face restored condition.
Worksplate ALLAN ANDREWS & CO KILMARNOCK MAKERS No 18 1878 ex 0-4-0 ST supplied to the Carron Iron Works Falkirk and numbered 8. The locomotive was scrapped in 1952. Oval cast brass measures 10in x 6in. The other side of this rare plate is featur ed on page 10 of British Locomotive Builder's Plates by Buckle & Love.
Diesel worksplate BRITISH RAILWAYS DARLINGTON BUILT 1961 POWER EQUIPMENT BY ASSOCIATED ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES LTD AND SULZER ex BR Class 25 originally numbered D5152 then 25002 in 1974. Allocated new to 51L Thornaby and withdrawn from Eastfield in 198 0. Scrapped at BREL Swindon. Rectangular cast aluminium measures 13in x 6.5in. Face lightly restored.
London Underground enamel target/bullseye KINGS CROSS ST PANCRAS with original bronze frame. Measures 51in x 42in and is in very good condition.
LNER GE pattern steam locomotive whistle complete with operating valve stamped LNE-E twice. Stands 15.5in tall and measures 3.75in diameter. In excellent condition mounted on a wooden plinth.

London and North Eastern Railway GER pattern 3 Aspect Sliding Knob handlamp stamped in the reducing cone LNE E and date stamped 1931. Brass plated LONDON AND NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY BILLINGBORO 2. Complete with all glasses, LNEE rape oil reservoir and rear back handle. Lightly restored condition.
Somerset and Dorset Joint Railway cast iron Sign S.& D.J.R. BEWARE OF TRAINS face restored with nice post mark to rear. Measures 26in x 16.5in.
BR(E) FF enamel doorplate PRIVATE measuring 18in x 3.5in. In very good condition with a few small chips. Not common as most Eastern Region doorplates are not flanged.
Shedplate 22C Bath (Green Park) with sub sheds Branksome, Evercreech Junction and Radstock. A rare LMS S&DJR Division shedplate in lightly cleaned condition. The Outer two standard holes have been filled in with lead and it is thought that the tw o inner holes were used to match up with the earlier Midland railway hole centres on some locomotives. See Lot 279 from our July 2018 auction for comparison.
Southern Railway enamel target station sign WEST ST LEONARDS from the former South Eastern and Chatham Railway station between Battle and St Leonards Warrior Square. In good condition with a few areas of restoration, measures 36in long.
Taff Vale Railway locomotive Frame Plate stamped in the front 149 TV 1920 and in the rear 376. Ex TVR Class A 0-6-2 T numbered TVR 149 and GWR 376. Built by Hawthorn & Leslie in 1920 and withdrawn in January 1957. Oval cast brass, face restored, measures 4.25in x 3.25in.
Diesel worksplate BEYER PEACOCK GORTON LTD MANCHESTER POWER EQUIPMENT BY ASSOCIATED ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES LTD AND SULZER SERIAL No 8057 1966 ex BR Class 25 originally numbered D7647 then 25297 in 1974. Allocated new to 41A Darnall and withdrawn from Crewe Diesel in 1986. Scrapped at Vic Berry Leicester. Rectangular cast aluminium measures 13in x 6.5in. Face restored.

GWR brass signal lever leads x5 consisting of; 19 DISC, 17 DISC, 9 F.P.LS, 15 DISC and 18 No1 SIDING. All originate from the Cambrian section of the GWR.
London & South Western Railway SILVER FREE PASS issued to A. C. Humphreys-Owen. Front marked with company name and full Coat Of Arms. The rear is marked RAILWAY & STEAM PACKETS. In very good condition measures 1in diameter. A. C. Humphreys-Ow en was the Liberal Member Of Parliament for Montgomeryshire until his death aged 70 years in December 1905.
GWR brass cabside numberplate 4077 ex GWR Collett 4-6-0 Castle built at Swindon in 1924 and named Chepstow Castle. Allocated to Old Oak Common, Cardiff Canton, Laira, Newton Abbot, Bristol Bath Road and 82B St Philips Marsh from where it was withdraw n in August 1962. Scrapped at Cashmore's Newport. Face restored.

London & North Western Railway mahogany cased 8 inch fusee clock lettered on the dial B.R.(L.M.) JOHN WALKER 1, SOUTH MOLTON ST LONDON 5157 and retaining its original cast brass bezel. The case has its original LNWR enamel clock numberplate 5157 screwed to the side. In lovely ex railway condition complete with pendulum and key. Circa 1880, ex Watford Signal Box.

Worksplate COALBROOKDALE COMPANY SHROPSHIRE from one of six 0-4-0 ST built between 1864-1866 and numbered 1 to 6. Number 5 still survives in the Museum at Ironbridge and a letter from the museum confirms that this plate matches the ones on the loco except for the sawn off ends. A rare plate in cleaned condition with ends removed, measures 8.75in x 6in. Together with a letter from Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust confirming it's authenticity.

Nameplate INTERCITY ex British Railways Class 43 High Speed Train numbered 43154 named at Paddington Station by C. W. Green, J. Prideaux and C. Bleasdale in March 1994. Nameplates removed in June 2003. Rectangular cast aluminium measuring 35.5in x 9i n and in as removed condition. Comes with Porterbrook certificate of authenticity and lots of photographs.
Nameplate SHIRBURN CASTLE ex Great Western Railway Collett Castle 4-6-0 built at Swindon in 1934 and numbered 5030. Allocations included Exeter, Cardiff Canton, Newport Ebbw Junction, Landore and 87G Carmarthen from where it was withdrawn in Septembe r 1962. Scrapped later the same year at Hayes Bridgend. In nicely cleaned condition.

Allocations included Hitchin, Kings Cross, St Margarets, Bathgate and 62A Thornton Junction from where it was withdrawn in September 1966. Scrapped later the same year at Shipbreaking Industries (Faslane). Diamond shaped cast brass lightly face cleaned measuring 13.5in x 6.5in.

Allocated to 86A Ebbw Junction initially, withdrawn and eventually scrapped at T.J. Thompson Stockton. Oval cast aluminium measuring 9.25in x 5.7in. In as removed condition.
Southern Railway enamel target sign WATERLOO from the former London and South Western Railway London Terminus station. In good condition with slight loss of shine and some edge chipping. Measures 28in long.
GWR cast iron numberplate GWR 60 ex Rhymney Railway 0-6-2 T RR number 20 built by Hudswell Clarke in 1911 as works number 949. Absorbed into the GWR and numbered GWR 60, the locomotive was withdrawn in March 1951 and scrapped. Face restored, with boi ler details and R20 stamped into the rim.
