Smokebox numberplate 80125 ex British Railways Riddles Standard Class 4 2-6-4T built at Brighton in 1955. Allocated to Stirling and 10D Lostock Hall from where it was withdrawn in October 1964 and scrapped at Maden and McKee (Stanley). In restored co ndition.

Nameplate MERLIN Ex 0-6-0 DM built by Hudswell Clark in 1951 as D 762 and delivered new to the Port Of Bristol Authority and numbered D23 and named Merlin. Sold in 1971 to R. O. Hodgson Ltd. of the English China Clay Group where it was used at their general warehouse at Carnforth, Lancashire and now preserved on the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway. Rectangular cast brass face restored, measures 27in x 5.5in.

Nameplate WILLINGTON HALLL ex BR-W Hawksworth modified Hall Class 4-6-0 built at Swindon in 1950 as order number 376 and numbered 7927. Allocated to Reading, Old Oak Common, Cardiff Canton, Cardiff East Dock, Ebbw Junction and 81F Oxford from where i t was withdrawn in December 1965 and sent to Barry. It is now owned by the Great Western Society Didcot and its frames are being used for its 1014 County project. In lightly face restored condition with L7927 stamped into the back indicating this is the left hand side. Willington Hall was near Tarporley Cheshire.

GWR brass cabside numberplate 5095 ex Collett Castle Class 4-6-0 built at Swindon in 1939 and named BARBURY CASTLE. Allocated to Laira, Old Oak Common, Cardiff Canton and 84G Shrewsbury from where it was withdrawn in August 1962 and scrapped at Swind on Works. Face restored, rear original.

London Underground enamel target/bullseye station sign SEVEN SISTERS. Measures 24in x 24in and is in very good condition with a few minor face chips.

Peckett locomotive headlamp brass plated PECKETT & SONS ENGINEERS BRISTOL on the chimney. Large bullseye front lens with cowling and rigid steel top handle. Smokebox numberplate 68056 ex War Department Riddles J94 0-6-0 ST built by W.G. Bagnall in 1945 and numbered WD 75268. Taken into LNER stock in 1946 and numbered 8056 and then BR 68056. Allocated to West Hartlepool from where it was withdrawn in Octo ber 1962 and scrapped. In as removed condition with casting details in the rear.

Allocated to Severn Tunnel Junction from where it was withdrawn in May 1962 and scrappe d. Face lightly restored with PH stamped in the lower rim rear original condition.

Allocated to Stafford Road, Oxley, Stourbridge Junction, Worcester and 85B Gloucester Horton Road Tyseley and 84C Banbury from whe re it was withdrawn in April 1963 and scrapped at Cashmore's Newport. Nicely face restored. The Hall is near Uxbridge London.

Caledonian Railway Coat Of Arms mounted on a hardwood back board. The LMS label on the rear states that this was produced at St Rollox Works for the Centenary of the railway and was used at the Centenary Luncheon in the Central Hotel Glasgow 10th Sep tember 1947. In very good condition measures 48in x 18in.

Tyers No 6 aluminium single line tablet DEREHAM WEST JCN - SWAFFHAM. From the former Great Eastern railway section closed in 1968. In ex railway condition measures 4.5in diameter.

Smokebox numberplate 58196 ex Midland Railway Johnson 2F 0-6-0 built at Derby in 1875. Allocated to 5B Crewe South from where it was withdrawn in July 1958 and scrapped. Numerals lightly restored.

Rhymney Railway Gangers Lookout horn. Brass with horn mouthpiece clearly stamped in the end RR Co. Measures 12in long.

Nameplate LORD PALMER ex GWR Churchward Saint Class 4-6-0 built at Swindon in December 1905 and numbered 175 renumbered 2975 in 1912. Originally named Viscount Churchill then Sir Ernest Palmer and lastly Lord Palmer. Lord Palmer was deputy chairman o f the GWR from 1906-1943. Allocated to Bristol Bath Road and Banbury from where it was withdrawn in November 1944 and scrapped. In restored condition. If you look closely at the back of the plate you can see the GWR re used the backplate from Sir Ernest Palmer.
